And my view on the institution is even more reinforced.

Hey, look on the bright side: At least you HAVE a job... biggrin with time I'm sure you can find a job that actually uses your degree it might just taking having some job experience or maybe it's just a bad point of time. I'd say keep looking and you will find something.

Most people don't get jobs in their chosen field of study right after graduating, right?
In any case, it's super cool that you graduated.
I'm degreeless and cashiering at a chain faux-dollar store, so I'd say you're winning.

Most people who do, enter some program which provide working experience for students within their fields of study. The program is usually arranged by the company itself (and not the university), to secure future potential employees.

Yay! Congrats Cleo!!
I can really relate to the whole job thing. Right now I'm unemployed and really down on myself. It's frustrating. I just went into a really complex job interview that was 2.5 hours, required me to take the verbal SAT and give a hand written writing sample, and give a two hour tutoring session as a "sample."
And this is for a job that's less than part time. It's absolutely frustrating. And I haven't heard back from them, after all I've done. They said they'd get back to me a week ago. :/
I think we'll find a way. If it makes you feel any better, Obama used to work for Baskin-Robbins when he was in college. (I think it was college, I dunno) But now he hates ice cream. XP
