~~~Chapter 1~~~
The Festival and The Book
---summary of old relative giving new owner book and festival--
A woman stood in front of her mirror, practicing her disguise. She was to attend the festival, disguised as a regular woman. Even though..she was secretly the brave knight. She was actually Sir Grey. And, meanwhile, in the forest...a wolf sat watching over the Main Kingdom. He entered the village, curious of the new owner like everyone else. Except, he hoped the owner to be a beautiful young girl...to eat. However, it was not too long that a certain knight was to sense this. She stood by one of the stalls, and knew him to be...The Big Bad Wolf. She warns him to not start any trouble, and offers him a different meal to eat as she buys him a plate............
For once upon a time........... there was a lone wolf pregnant with pups no one knew why this wolf mother was without a pack. When she gave birth it was straining but she some how made it and five pups was born but the battle for survival was not over. Like all babies do these Pups needed food and care and though the mother tried her best she could not get enough food for herself to make the milk needed for the pups to live and one by one there was less and less mouths to feed till only one wolf pup was left desperate to keep this pup alive the wolf mother started killing livestock form villages. This made the villages mad and they sent hunters to kill the wolf mother it was not long till they found the weaken wolf mother and killed her leaving the wolf puppy alone to die. It was not till his whimpering could be heard by a old witch of the changing forest that the wolf's death was avoid. The Witch raised the wolf teaching him several things such as how to speak and a bit of her magic to control the wind The Witch and the Wolf lived together for many years and wolf grew till adulthood when Wolf or Wolfrik as he was starting to call himself was told to leave the cottage of the witch and to make a life of his own. He didn't wish to go but the woman made it clear that he had to. Wolfrik tried to join with other wolves but it was clear that he was different and he was not trusted. It was not till he spotted a girl in red that he knew he would rather be with humans. So everyday as the red hooded girl walked into the forest he watched her and sometimes tried to talk to her. He though himself a good talk and quite the charmer but after a time passed the girl started to call him a stalker and made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with the wolf. But having no where to go the wolf was persistent in his hunt for the affection of a human companion even taking the form of one in the day another trick the witch showed him. But despite what he wants he is still a wolf and his hunger controls his actions making him fight the urge to eat the one's he wants to mate with.
Within the "Real World".......
---summary of birthday party last night and receiving of The Book---
Gabriella awoke after the long night...she laid in her bed, with confetti still in her hair. As she rubbed her eyes, they looked over to..that book. She never once before heard of the book, so she wondered what lied within the book. what stores did it hold? Just then, her sister, Galadriel walks in asking if Gabby saw her contacts case. Apparently, she also lost her back-up glasses and had to wear glasses that was given to her last year. Clearly upset, her sister looked all about the room! Meanwhile, at the house right across the street was Gordan's home. He laid on the roof, glaring at Gabby's house. Yet, he recalled how he needed to call his dad to see if he could borrow the car. Though, during the conversation it seemed that his father needed him to pick him up. The father being drunk out of his mind....surprisingly still having his phone with them. Gordan, after a quick breakfast, jumped into the car. Quickly afterwords, playing very loud music. He rode off, with his music blazing behind him. A few houses away, another awoke. Adriana was her name, and being Gabby's best friend she was recalling the birthday party from last night. She recalls Gabby's presents and how much fun everyone had. She then went downstairs to get some breakfast.............................
While from within The Book.....
A fairy, named Azhure, rode out into the night. Her laugh echoing as she gave a spin; and as she entered the festival...her form shifted into that of a human's. Her wings going into her back, yet untraceable thanks to her fae abilities. For, all fairies can transform their form. Fairies are able to become anyone, or anything for that matter. Azhure lived in a different kingdom of the Main kingdom, and had left this home to attend. This fairy, now in human form, went on into the festival. Her eyes looking towards all the decorations and wondered what she should do..........
~~~Chapter 2~~~
Music sounds the Newcomers

Back into the "Real World"

Gabby informed his sister she didn't know where her contacts case was nor the back-up glasses. She then heard Gordan's music, and groaned loudly. The two girls both complained, hating the boy. Gordan would not hear these complaints, even if the window was open, as the music echoed on. For you see, years ago Gordan and Gabby actually dated.

Gordan harasses Gabby because of their history, and still is emotional from it. It was back in Middle School that the two were together...maybe it was the constant teasing, or when he said the wrong things that got her to dump him....but, to this day, he doesn't know the real reason why she dumped him. Now that they're in high school, he's still upset. He calls her "The Brat" or "That Brat" all the time. And when he refers to her sister he just goes "The Brat's sister". He constantly makes fun of all her friends and hatches up schemes to mess with the group all the time. As for any guy that likes her, let's just say they will have Gordan to worry about. He still gets jealous, as he still likes her..though he hides it.

Meanwhile, in The Book

The Knight, still in disguise, looked to see that the Wolf did not respond. Instead, he was still in his daydream on feasting upon young women. She, again, warns him that this night was a night of fun...but not his fun. She reminds him that if he is hungry, her offer still stood to pay for his meal. With that, the knight left the wolf. She walked on, deeper in the crowd, until she came upon one of the fairies of The Book. She greets the fairy, knowing her true race thanks to her many years of experience. The fairy was Azhure, and she was in human form. Yet, the knight joked on how beautiful her wings were. Little did the knight know, the Big Bad Wolf had followed her. He came up from behind, asking if the knight could suit a different kind of hunger. His lips against her neck as he grinned a nasty grin.

The Knight refused such an offer, moving away from him. And to further prove her point, she drew out her knife saying she had more then just her dress. She slashed at him as well, warning him of her own claws. The Wolf only smirking in return as he reminded her that no blood could be shed during events. He then says his own offer still stood, should she hunger for pleasure as well. His figure disappearing through the crowd as he withdrew from her. The Knight watched him go...and cursed him under her breathe. As if she would desire such! The Knight was a Knight and a Knight alone. There was no time for such nonsense, after all. She turns back to the fairy, Azhure, and jokes about how is human blood so "good" when it was so overused.

Towards the edge of festival, a new character entered the scene. It was the bloody assassin, Gino, and he had came with sheer apathy. He grew tired of such events....He grew tired of the normal setting of The Book...He grew tired of his own killings, in fact. Stabbing someone in the eye was even getting old at this point. It was only once before that he was distracted by his boredom, and that was when The Author had introduced him to new techniques he could master. If not for that, though, he would have gone insane.

Azhure followed the Knight, wanting to thank her for before....but shied away at the sight of her conversation with the Wolf. The Knight did not notice at first as she was preoccupied with the thought of battle. The Wolf had her in the mood for a good fight now..and oh, how she wished for a duel now. Yet, as she saw the fairy's expression...she saw how something bothered her. She asked if the fairy was alright, yet saw in the distance the bloody assassin. She did not recognize him, per say, and simply joked on how much 'fun' he was.

But into the "Real World"....

The local bully leader, Gordan, was still driving to get his father. He chuckled as he past Gabby's friend house..and purposely played his music louder. Though, up ahead was his right hand man's house...and he respectfully turned down the volume for him in case he was still asleep. Even if Gordan was the leader of the bullies in the area, he and his right hand man were truly the kings. The two of them always had each other's back. He drove on, speeding up to where eventually he was at his dad's bar. It wasn't his dad's though..it was just a bar his dad was at very often. As he pulled up by the door, he could see that his father was passed out by the entrance. The father attempting to say hello before suddenly puking on the sidewalk. Gordan, however, did not want any of that in his car. He knocks out his dad to better ensure the "safe" travel..and carries him to the backseat. He swears up and down he better not puke....and to make double sure he wouldn't, Gordan sped his car all the way back to his house. His tires screeched with each turn, and once he was there...he quickly kicked him out the car. The father was then "escorted" to the inside the house and Gordan insisted the man take a shower. As he returned to his car..he could spot a bit of puke on his paint. He gave off a growl, and just got the hose to wash his car.

Then, within The Book

Gino, the Bloody Assassin, was wandering the festival. He did not approach the Knight nor the Fairy...and just wandered aimlessly. He yawned in boredom and wondered if he should have just stayed at home.

But, far from the assassin and the festival....far from land itself laid a ship. The ship was like none other, and was lead by the Captain of the Pirates. Harbor lied ahead, and the Captain called out the classic," Land hoe!!!". This Captain was nothing less but the leader of all the pirates of his fine crew. The crew being loyal to where they couldn't refuse an order! Except, maybe once a day. As the crew and it's captain approached the harbor, the captain's voice could be heard barking out orders for the crew. For Captain Murphy was not one to be easy on his crew, nor would he start now. For tonight was the grand festival and he would not miss it even if someone were to offer him a treasure map leading to the largest booty in the sea! After the ship was docked and properly tied to the harbor, he ordered his crew to not make any trouble and not to be near him during the festival. He cared not what they did, so long as it didn't involve him and any trouble that may ruin the festivities. Captain Murphy then left, and went to the festival. In his mind, he was starting to think upon on the last tournament where a armored soldier defeated him. He swore that this time he would defeat the armored soldier.

He continued on until he reached the local grounds of the festival. He had made profits with a special hair gel, and collected his share from each salesman that had been selling his gel. He smiled as he said to himself that tonight was to be a good night.

For long ago..... in the good kings naval corps, a young lieutenant by the name, James Murphy was aboard the S.S. Albatross. The ship was heading out on a long voyage to the far eastern lands for trading. It was there, that the crew of the Albatross was engaged with a treacherous skirmish. The crew was forced to fight off a ship full of nasty pirates. Murphy fought fiercely, giving no quarter to any pirate that might try to claim him life. The young lieutenant slashed limbs with his sword, and cleaved skulls with boarding axes. In the end, however the pirates won. The captain of ship took Murphy and the rest of the Albatross' crew in as a bargaining chips to be sold back to the navy. The navy, however declined them. Murphy felt betrayed. The one's he had serve for so long had abandoned him. Seeing as how the crew was no use to them, the pirates decided to execute the survivors in the morning. Murphy however had different plans. In his holding cell, the young lieutenant sawed through his bindings against a sharp, jagged, piece of broken pottery. It took him a while, but Murphy was able to free himself and the rest of the crew. During the night, Murphy and rest of the crew slayed the pirates and took over the ship. The young lieutenant himself engaged the captain in mortal combat. The two fought to the bitter end, hacking at each other with blood soaked blades. Murphy suffered a slash across his left eye. In the end, Murphy pierced the pirate captain through his throat with a rusty curved dagger. After which, young Murphy appointed himself the new captain of the ship. The rest is history.

As for the "Real World".....

Adriana, Gabby's best friend, was finished with what she had to do and started to go to Gabby's. Yet, as soon as she came outside...she could hear Gordan's music. She stuck out her tongue as he passed by, and continued on her way. She couldn't wait to go to Gabby's and see her along with her sister Anna. They had been friends for almost forever it seemed..and her and Anna even got along. As she neared Gabby's house, she kept walking on as Gordan passed by once more returning to his house.

Gordan finished washing his car far after Adriana went to Gabby's house. He thought of Gabby as his eyes shifted to her house. His house was three houses away, and out in the distance he saw Adriana approaching. His eyes rolled at thought of the brat, Gabby, and growled under his breath. But, he then smirked, thinking of a nasty plan he had in store for Gabby. Just you wait, I got plans for today. He thought to himself as he put up the hose.

~~~Chapter 3~~~
Back into The Book
The Captain was not alone within the festival. Amongst the crowd, Gino had spotted him. Gino had his hood as he held his assassin composure. He thought of a tournament where he could defeat the Captain. Funny how the two disliked each other to the point of killing each other, yet their thoughts revolved over the same subject...the tournament. Gino thought of murdering Captain Murphy and he pictured this with a blood-thirsty grin. The Captain had no idea that Gino was the Bloody Assassin as Gino held a disguise.
A disguise that came with Gino's past....
Gino was born into a family of assassins whose name has been erased from the memory of history. At a young age, he was taken by those seeking to gain the abilities and skills of his family, unfortunately, the kidnappers' plans were shot when Gino's entire family came to save him. Since then, he was trained in the ways of an assassin.
Gino proved himself quite capable, from simple assassination contracts to more complex missions, he excelled at them all. Then, after he finished a contract, he returned to his home to find it destroyed. Almost all were dead, and those who had survived, would not for long. The last person Gino spoke to, explained that one of their own, seeking the forbidden texts of their ancestor, had betrayed them and led the purge.
Full of righteous rage, Gino set out to end the traitor. Along the way, Gino struggled with the darkest parts of himself. Before, he had always found a grim sense of joy in his missions, but with the deaths of his family, he began to feel that simple killings weren't enough. For a while, his victims became more and more gruesome after Gino was through with them. Innocents were no longer spared either. For a good stretch of Gino's life, he was nothing more than a murderous beast. Then as Gino infiltrated a temple of monks, seeking information on the Betrayer. Gino was forced to face himself and the monster he had become. This resulted in nearly killing the man he had been hired to kill. Instead, Gino killed the man who hired him, and spent the next year fasting inside the temple. It was there he found the balance between light and dark.
After clearing his mind, Gino set out once again, this time, in a set of assassin robes with a hood covering his face. He would allow no one but his victims to look into his eyes while wearing these. Gino knew he would never erase the blood from his hands, but he could at least try and earn his redemption. Gino continued on his journey, meeting many different people and obtaining different weapons that would help him. Finally, Gino came face-to-face with the man who had betrayed his entire family: his father. For years, Gino's father had been head of the assassins, but when he was told that he was not the one to learn the sacred teachings of The First Assassin, he snapped and went into a violent rage. He revealed that while Gino had been traveling, he had learned how to use most of the techniques.
Gino was offered a chance to learn the techniques from his dad, and help to shape the course of history as they saw fit, but Gino refused, citing their code when he told his father "We shape the course of history, so that the weak may have the chance to become strong. Your way is not ours." After that statement, Gino was forced to end his father's life, reclaiming the ancient teachings after the man's death. Once Gino had obtained the texts, he destroyed the temple and set off alone, not knowing what the future held, other than the obvious amounts of death and blood. Now he is the master, he has mastered the ancient techniques and is more than capable of training others, now he observes, waiting to find those he deems best suited for the work of an assassin.
Captain Murphy entered the festival with his thumbs hanging from his belt. At his side, his trusty cutlass, and just in case Captain Murphy found himself without his cutlass, he had his nunchaku hidden in his vest. His cutlass had seen many skirmishes and bouts, and at first glance it would appear a little ornate for actual combat but it actually quite functional even multipurpose. The hand guard doubled a ferocious knuckleduster that would leave nasty puncture wounds and catch any weapon caught in it. The blade itself was very high quality. A special kind of tempered steel made in a foreign and exotic land. Murphy found it to be a good time to test his luck as he saw one of the many games held within the festival. He went over to a table that was engaged in a game of Liar's Dice and joined.
Meanwhile, in the "Real World"
Gordon had stopped his music after he finished washing the car. Gabby, for one, was thankful of that, and Anna was finally done with her breakdown, so this left Anna alone in her room. She thought that maybe she could read her new book...but, then again her friend should be over soon. So, instead she decided to get dressed just in case. She threw on an outfit, mostly comprised of items she had only gotten yesterday at her birthday party.
Around this time, Anna was frantically looking in her bag for her contacts. She shrieked in joy as her hand grasped the contacts case and was thrilled to have full sight once more. She carefully, yet quickly, applied the contacts to her eyes.....and soon realized what she was wearing. It was her old footie pajamas... which she somehow changed into during the night. She then went off to get dressed~
While from within The Book.....
The Knight still stood next to the Fairy, Azhure. She was still in human form, a disguise really. Yet, the Knight was still in disguise as well. Her disguise was to be one of the merchant's daughter, which was something she could easily pull off as there were many merchants within the festival. For now, she had just told the fairy had beautiful wings. The fairy wanted to thank the Knight, yet it was at this time that the Big Bad Wolf had approached her. Azhure stood back from them, worried she would bother their conversation. Afterwords, The Knight returned to the fairy's side and tried to resume their own conversation. She was worried the fairy was upset, and asked if anything was wrong.
At this time, the Knight realized that Gino had entered the festival though kept her eyes at bay. She wasn't one to pry on who was who. It was only the author who knew every one of them. She starting to be in the mood for a fight though, thanks to the wolf. She had the desire to challenge someone, yet she had to maintain her disguise. Though she hoped that perhaps the event's main event was another Tournament. Perhaps then she could fight to her heart's desire as Sir Grey, her real identity. But, she soon realized that she had gotten so caught up she nearly forgot about the fairy. Her eyes returned to Azhure, and commented on how this year's festival was rather fun.
The fairy soon responded with a bright smile as she was finally able to thank the Knight for her compliment earlier. She explained how earlier she didn't say much since she seemed pre-occupied with someone else. Azhure then introduced herself, and was quite chipper. The Knight gleamed at how the fairy was impressed that she saw right through her disguise. The Knight starting to flex as she bragged that her wise eyes could see all! Even the fairy's wings past her human form! She then poses and it was easy to see that too much complimenting and it could go to her head and then the fairy would have to deal with a real air-headed knight. But, the fairy was not aware she was in the company of a knight in the first place.
The Knight then continued her bragging as she told the fairy that earlier it was a wolf that she was speaking to. He said his words, and she drew her dagger and off he was! She soon started smile a dark smile of triumph. The Knight looked past the fairy to recognize the pirate captain playing a game of dice, and for some reason hunger struck her. She turned to the fairy, offering to buy Azhure some honey. She knew that honey was a favorites among the fae, and was happy to serve her such. Even though she called Azhure a far aloud, she whispered to where only Azhure could hear in case Azhure wanted to keep her identity hidden. Azhure happily took her offer, as she took the Knight's arm as they walked together to the nearest stall that held honey. Fairies were very social creatures, and friendly unless angered. She was surprised to hear the word "Fae", and comments on how she hasn't been called that before. She was also surprised on how she had drew a knife at the wolf, thinking her to be an ordinary defenseless human. Just in case her company did not hear her the first time, she introduced herself once more as Azhure Flutterwing.
Gino, the Bloody Assassin, had meanwhile followed the pirate captain, Murphy. He had trailed him to the game of dice that was to be called "Liar's Dice". He hid himself within the crowd surrounding the game itself, and listened well for any information he might gain from it. No one gave him a second glance and watched the game before them like it was the most important thing in the world. Captain Murphy continued to play the game of dice. He lost a few rounds, since he forgot a bit on strategy, but soon made a comeback. The other players groaned as they lost to him, and one of them suddenly spoke up against him. The player had quite a few too many drinks as he accused Murphy of how the pirate captain should be out robbing someone instead of playing with them. The captain laughed, as he responded on how at the moment he was in the process of robbing them! Another player of the game then reminded Captain Murphy not to cheat, and the captain only continued to laugh. How could he be cheating? He soon asked the players the same question, and after a bit the players finally settled down for them to all play one more round of the game of dice.
Kimberly Scarlette Valentina had set out from home early in the morning, taking the path through the woods on her way to the festival. She donned her usual crimson cloak, the hood pulled up, and over her arm was slung a covered basket containing some cinnamon buns, still warm from the oven.
