OOC!!! Wait...what?
How are you in an rp guild and not know what OOC is? Pft.
Well, no matter! I shall explain it for you! If you already know what it is, please skip to the Topic Regulations.
Now! OOC is abbreviation for "Out Of Character". This subforum has been made specifically for all OOC involved within the guild~ For you see, OOC is used for whenever people talk to other players. As in, "out of character", thus begins the conversation between players. Players being people who rp their own characters. The conversations between players usually still invlove rp, but at times it may not. It may be a random topic for the conversation or perhaps a question about the rp itself. Thus, this subform shall contain all OOC. Too much OOC is bad for rps within their topics, so a OOC topic should be properly made for each rp. Though, this is optional.
Yet, not everyone uses "Out Of Character". Although when you speak as a player to other players it is automatically out of character....others call it other things as a joke. Like "Out of Cookies" or "Out of Candy" and although they use different wording it's still 'OOC' in the end. Thus, I used a different name for our subforum.
Ow O C: Which are actually smiley faces~ You see, the first O is used as the left eye and the second O is used as right eye. The "w" inbetween the two Os are represented as the mouth of this smiley. And, I've used C to simply have a large grin. The colon being eyes for that smiley. I believe it to be an original name for this subforum and anyone who thinks otherwise is entitled to their opinion.
Topic Regulations!!!
You must include the title of the rp within the topic's subject! Very simple, put what rp the topic is for. Such a rule is simple as 2 + 2. Which equals fish, but of course. If not for rp, still title the topic appropriately. Meaning still give it the proper title.
Include a description of the rp (or OOC rp) within the first post! Thus, describe your rp's setting and how the characters are involved. You do not have to include a lot of detail, but surely you must know what your rp is about being the one who has created the rp in the first place.
You do not have to summarize your rp within the OOC topic, but if you want to you can. Although every plot should be posted in the "Plot" subforum, but this works as well. You may include a summary of the rp within your OOC topic.
You may include all characters. The rule is: either have a OOC topic and rp, or have a profile topic and that topic also be OOC. Which simply states that you may have to choose between three options. Choose to have your rp containing all profiles, and an OOC topic. Or, choose to have your rp and a profile topic which shall also be OOC. Or, choose to where you have both topics. A OOC topic, and a profile topic. You may have both, or the other within the other one. Confused? Simply choose if your rp should have both topics in one or have the two separate.
It does not have to involve a rp! It can just be random OOC hangout time. Where players talk out of character and rp with each in OOC rp.
OOC Rp?: This is rp where there are no rules and you literally can do anything. The rp uses ** for actions and usually has the players have fun with each other out of boredom. The players may fight, or just give each other cookies. The rp itself is rather fun and you can do anything. You are not limited as your character and can just be yourself however which way you wish to be you.
Help your players!! If the OOC topic is created for players within your rp, don't forget to be there for them. Players may use the OOC topic to ask questions and you must check daily to ensure to be there for them.
But remember!
You must read the Guild Rules before posting and post within the Guild Rules topic saying you've read all the rules. Thank you.
