So it seemed that the metal of Hariko's tentacles shattered, and at that his body had shattered, and his body had been horribly damaged by the force of his aura as he held onto him. To Katsurou's senses his blades, both chakra and metal tore through Hariko's armor, bisecting him. A moment later, he would notice a strange looseness in the grip his claw had as Hariko suddenly burst into smoke, revealing a flashbomb. The illusionary sensation would pass The bomb quickly went off. Hariko had reappeared a distance behind Katsurou, and as the flash bomb went off, Hariko through a water scroll at him and activated it, a large mass of water spraying out at him. It wouldn't do to much damage by itself, but it would give him more water to work with and would, depending on if his aura was still present, possibly drench him. Hariko kneel and quickly raised part of his armor. He grabbed some of his shirt and tore it. He carefully wrapped it over the wound, and tied it to stop the bleeding before it could get too bad. He stood up then, gathering his chakra.

The blades passed through far too easily! Katsurou was expecting a clone or replacement to show up, and wasn’t disappointed to find the cloud of smoke and flash bomb behind it. Flash Bomb! At this range it wouldn’t just blind the Gekkou but also deafen and disorientate him at this range! All he could do is shield his eyes and get off a quick few hand seals before the bomb goes off and the figure of the male is lost in the blinding light. If the crowd had been cheering, then there would be a hushed breath as everyone waiting for the light to die down. It isn’t too long, long enough for the Mizu boy to draw a scroll and summon a wave of water, for the light to fade down, and standing their on his knees while covering his eyes is Katsurou! Had he not be able to avoid the flash of light? Not enough time for him to recover, the water washed over him while soaking him to the bone, which in this environment would cause him to freeze a bit faster. On top of this was the freezing rain that was icing over his upper back and shoulders. Was this fight over?

By now the rain had stopped. Hariko stood up as the light had faded, having covered his wounds and successfully soaked his opponent. Hariko formed hand seals, as he would attempt to deal with another problem. Over his body a layer ice formed, covering the plates of the armor and under his shields, over his wound, and around the bases of the tendrils. The ice would provide extra protection, and help reduce the effect of the cold on him. Hariko then formed hand seals, seeing a chance to strike at his opponent while they were blinded. The water that was released around the swordman suddenly rose up. It attempted to form a vortex to trap and drown him.

The ice bearing rain was finally letting up, and thus no more ice would be forming. It looked like the Gekkou boy’s back had frozen over due to it, so one had to wonder if her could even move anymore. Next was that vortex of water that swirled around him with enough force to pull him from the ground. While in its watery grasp, the male moved his hands to his mouth as air escapes his lung in the form of bubbles. As the image of the male is spun around due to the vortex’s power, Hariko wouldn’t be able to see a figure standing against the arena way directly behind him. Katsurou was willing to bet that the boy didn’t have a way to sense him besides actually seeing him, thus he stood in any human’s natural blind spot. Silently he kicks off the wall and ground in order to rush at high speeds towards the Mizu assassin, while he watches the figure in the vortex. Before the clone explodes into smoke, the blade of Kuchibashi would easily cut through the ice, armor, and flesh of his opponent. Worse yet, he had launched the attack behind the opponent meaning he strikes at the spine! While the force of this attack would cleave through that mass of bone and nerves, the Gekkou assassin would add on insult to injury and he transferred the Gekkou clan virus into his opponent in case he thought he would try and fight on.

So it seemed that the man had been trapped in a the whirling mass. Hariko's eyes gazed out over the crowd above, his head turning back and forth. His gaze lowered to the icy walls. That was when he noticed, swift movement of an image reflected along it, moving towards the reflection of what he could only assume was him, due to it's fuzziness. He had little time to think about it and just reacted, sending a large amount of chakra to his fee He then released all of it at once. He used the principle of tree climbing with the opposite effect. The strength of the chakra formed would repel the surface rather then stick to it. When the chakra was released, it would fire him from the surface with great speed at he jumped. He flew into the air, just in time, avoiding the high speed charge of the swordsman. Hariko formed more hand seals while in the air as Kuchibashi moved past him. From the water around them on the ice surface, numerous clones appeared, five to be exact, all of them water clones, forming and shaping from the water, shields on their wrists, and kunai in their hands. Two moved in towards him, blades ready to strike. At the same time, Three of Hariko's tedrils extended and flew towards the swordman as he fell. His fourth one moved around himself protectively, in case there was a second sneak attack.

How had his opponent seen through his assassination technique? Katsurou couldn’t think up an answer and frankly there wasn’t enough time to dwell on it as his target to the sky in one powerful jump. The Gekkou quickly, yet silently, slams his foot to the ground and takes flight directly under his target, though he does leave behind a clone of himself per each of the new Mizu on the field. If Hariko was still paying attention, then he would note that Katsurou vanished after kicking off the ground. That doesn’t last long as he reappears as the hilt of his dai-katana slams into his chest with enough force to break the ice and knock the wind from his opponent, before launching a flurry of blows from Kuchibashi and Tsume into his chest and torso. That rapid assault would be transitioned by a power uppercut to the jaw by that big black gauntlet, which would launch the Mizu even higher into the air. Katsurou still following in the shadow of his rising opponent, till the Mizu boy reaches the apex of his rise. At that point, the Gekkou spins sharply and strikes Hariko in the back of his neck, an attempt to paralyze the opponent. He then stabilizes himself in mid-air as his large wing burst out in a wave of loose feathers. Too bad for the Mizu that he designed to jump high into the air in order to avoid the first assassination technique, cause now he was falling fast from a much higher height than Katsurou would have been able to launch other wise. If Hariko didn’t find a way to catch himself mid-air then he would crash hard into the ground, with more than enough force to break away the rest of the ice armor as well as leave a small crater. As soon as the Mizu’s body hit the ground, Katsurou would free fall with his dai-katana, Kuchibashi, primed to pierce his heart and him to the ground.

Hariko saw as the swordsman had jumped, disappearing from his original position, having kicked off the ground. He had formed shadow clones, as his water clones clashed with them in battle. Hariko's eyes looked quickly around for a side of movement as his remaining tendril move around him defensively. His other three were now retracting back to him. It took only a matter of seconds before the swordsman had appeared against, his katana slashing towards him. It met his metal tendril, pushing it in, but ultimately not able to reach him as it pushed back. The next series of strikes came in, and Hariko raised his shields, moving as quickly as he could to deflect the blows, receiving some minor cuts into his ice and foul spider armors. However, he wasn't able to block the uppercut as it moved past them, cracking the ice armor over his face and forcing him upwards. The retracting tendrils quickly flowed in to aid the other one. As he went up, Hariko turned his head back down to catch a glimpse of the man's incoming attack. His tendrils whipped around his back their blades moving in to strike him as well as prevent his neck strike from hitting. Hariko was then falling towards the ground, as Katsurou has produced those wings again. Hariko went falling towards the earth, and as he felt himself in free fall, he knew he needed to save himself as well as defeat his opponent. He quickly formed hand Seals, and released his ultimate jutsu. Ice Style: Demon Ice Mirrors A mirror formed directly under him as he fell and rather then hitting it, he fell right through it's surface, into the mirror. Out on every side, of Katsurou and above him, similar mirrors formed. They surrounded him from every direction, as Hariko's reflection appeared in each of them. Hariko could feel the chakra flowing through himself now, as the world around him seemed to slow down. But in fact, it has was him and his perceptions that had increased greatly. Taking out senbon needles, he would move swiftly into attack position. He through needles at him at very high speeds, as he exited the bottom mirror and moved to another mirror in less then an instant, He then released another attack with the senbon from this mirror and moved to another. He repeated the process until, there was a small spray of needles coming at him from every direction.

"I concede this match!" Katsurou announces after not bother to deliever that blow to his opponents neck during his Lunar Lotus technique, not that he could due to the defense of the bladed tendril. He saw the Mizu create and drop into a sheet of ice before move begin to form around him. Had the opponent not heard that he quit, or was he only going to keep going till the Gekkou was dead? Katsurou let out another burst of aura in order to knock the senbon away from him before drifting to the bottom most mirror and out between the gap between the mirrors. As he did such the Gekkou male sheathed his dai-katana on his back and with the use of his large wings flew off in the distance.

Hariko stopped, as he repelled the senbon. He processed what Katsurou said then. They boy floated down past the mirrors as Hariko stopped. Hariko moved into the bottom mirror and exited it. He fell down carefully, landing kneeling as parts of his ice armor fell off of him. His mirrors above began to crack and disintegrate. "You fought well. You nearly beat me on several occasions."

The Judge nodded as the Gekkou conceded the fight. He looked to the Mizu and gestured to the Competitor's waiting area, there would be some light food there in order to help replenish the Chakra expended during the match.
