I never got to play the original Luigi's Mansion, but I'm really looking forward to Dark Moon. It looks like it'll be a really fun game, and the more I hear about it, the more I want it.
I'm thinking that there probably will be a demo released for it since Nintendo has been releasing them for lesser known series (lesser known to casual gamers, anyway).

I'm having minor gripes with the game's style, the first one had a very scary atmosphere and was very dark. It's still one of my favorite games to roam around in.
The new style is very cartoony and is nowhere near as dark, majority of the rooms are lit up at almost all times and alot of the suspense is taken out of it. But this is a personal thing, the game is still fun to play.

Well, I can't compare it to the first one so my opinion is just on this one. I do think it has a lot of atmosphere so far, I really enjoy roaming around. Its not really scary, but still involves you. They may have chosen to not make it so dark being on a portable system, since it may be hard to see. The 3D looks great though so that helps immerse you.
I'm not really used to this type of game, I was a little bothered it took me so long to get to my first save point, but now I know to only pick it up when I intend to play for a while. I tend to get lost in poking around.

I have that for my 3DS and I loved it. Im still getting used to the new point up/down feature.
