It was currently in-between breakfast and lunch, and while most people were out and about, E'lov was still sitting at one of the tables, a half drunk mug of klah sitting in front of him.
He just hadn't been able to bring himself to go back to where he was currently sleeping, not when that meant that he would have been left alone in silence. He didn't do well in silence, not anymore.
He stared down at the mug, not paying attention to anyone else in the hall. He was lost, adrift, unsure of where he needed to be going, and with Magith asleep, he didn't even have the reasurrance of him.
What was he going to do?

Hans was still a bit on the lost side, he was overjoyed to have Hannsk of course, the little bronze Wher was as devilish and active as any baby wher..and he did a lot to help him get over the loss of his blue..while he was awake anyways.
When he was sleeping - well that was when the memories started to creep in, and now a new found fear that Hanssk would meet the same fate as Hansk had - especially given the rather stubborn nature he was starting to display. In any case with the little bronze sleeping Hans was free to find something else to occupy his time and rather then sit around by himself or go to sleep like many of the handlers were used to doing given their typical nocturnal nature Hans decided to make his way down to the mess hall and see if there was anyone around to pass the time with.
A younger man with a half drunk cup of Klah sitting in front of him seemed like a good choice and so after getting a cup of Klah himself Hans joined him at the table. "Hey, you look like your thinking a bit to much. Seems to be going around lately"

E'lov looked up from his klah, and gave the other guy a slight smile. "Maybe it's the weather." He was joking of course, the day was as nice as one could want, and he finally took another drink.
"I don't think I've met you yet," he said, looking the male over. "Are you a wherhandler?" It was entirely possible, there were quite a few wherhandlers around, and with the new hatchlings, there were even more. It was kind of odd, to talk about hatchlings and not mean dragons, but he was adjusting to that.
"My name's E'lov, and my partner is blue Magith." Should he keep the shortened version of his name? Or should he start announcing himself by his old name, by Echlerov? It was something to think about. Maybe he needed to find one of the other riders and see what they think, since no one else would likely care.

"Something like that" Hans agreed with a slight upturn of his lips. It wasn't quite a smile - but it was close. Listening to the mans introduction Hans realized that this man was one of the dragonriders that had sided with the handlers - while he recognized their good sense in doing so it was still somewhat hard to imagine them turning against their own kind the way they had. It made one wonder just how loyal they really were...or maybe he was just being suspicious because of his own personal grievance with riders. It really wasn't fair to judge a man just because they had impressed a dragon. Wasn't that sort of judgement against handlers part of the reason that they had fought this little revolt to begin with?
"Yes, I'm Hans of blu...I mean bronze Hanssk, sorry I had a blue but he was killed during the fighting..my bronze is from the most recent clutch, it's hard to make the adjustment sometimes" He explained his near slip with a tired sigh.

E'lov merely nodded in response, not wanting to bring up the real reason why anyone might be more introspective at the moment.
"It's nice to meet you." Or at least he hoped it was. "I'm sorry that you lost your partner, it was kind of terrible for everyone." Please don't let the man hate dragonriders. Please. "I can't imagine loosing mine."
He had heard that it wasn't as bad for the wherhandlers, to loose their bonded, but personally the boy thought that something like that would be terrible for anyone.
He needed to change the subject. What was safe? Location? Sure, why not. "Are you from this area originally?"
