Snorting at Ceres' comment, Kat slowly shook her head. "Seriously..and I doubt it." With the battle having drawn out as long as it did, the heat and exhaustion from wearing the suit alone was already taking its toll on her. Aiming her weapon at the ghost, she fired again, and missed.  HP: 23/40 Damage: 0 WTH KAT? HE ONLY HAS 1HP LEFT! FINISH HIM ALREADY OTL Target: Tonberry Tonberry's HP: 1/60 Charge: 0/3

"...Kat i think he is a little more to the left, darling." She smiled though, honestly he moved SO SLOW it was rather easy to deflect his attacks mostly. This was pretty much the apparition's battle cry as it finally dissolved in a pile of thick colourful smoke before that dissipated as well.
Victory music played in the background. Allan played it a few times over and over on his cell phone, beaming proudly at the trainees while still holding the growing pile of plush action figures somehow in one hand. "You did it trainee-tachi, you felt the power from within and defeated the power of darkness, you own fears, despairs, in order to grow stronger! I hope the two of your have learned a valuable moral lesson about this, that no matter what, no matter where you are, what nakama are with you, remember that interning at Square Enix when you don't know how to speak proper Japanese is a very silly idea."
And then he dialed into his cellphone and said in a very broken Japanese. "Konnichiwa! We have completed the mission desu!"

After the formalities and the promises of a payment being wired to a certain account in which Allan only seemed to nod stupidly through, the two trainees plus one plushie-filled division lead managed to make it back practically in one piece to Deus Ex, in where Allan took some time to shower them both with another moment about the heart of the cards and powers from within and then grant them all five boxes of Strawberry Pocky before, insisting that they stay for episode 2 of One Piece, which they watched five times before he waved them on their merry way.
The next day, a very large box awaited each trainee at their doorstep with a new coat, and enough Final Fantasy merchandise to fund an entire booth of their own. Attached on each coat was a horribly drawin picture:
It was traumatizing.
