☯Character Bio: Ayumi was born to Mayor Hishataki and his wife in the Fire Nation colony of Yu Dao. She was raised to honor both the Fire Nation Royal Family and her hometown. She was raised with some form of earthbending training as well as additional weapons training, where she learned to use a meteor hammer.Kori began feeling resentful toward the Fire Lord, thinking that he betrayed his people. She arrived at the Fire Nation Capital and sneaked into the Royal Palace with intent of killing the Fire Lord.While Ayumi succeeded in incapacitating the guards, the Fire lord proved to be too much for her and she was captured. Hiroshi began interrogating her and brought her back to Yu Dao where he met her father, Mayor Hishataki, and her earthbender mother. First, Hiroshi attempted to persuade Ayumi and her family to return to the Fire Nation. However, Ayumi, her parents and a closer look at the life of Yu Dao convinced Hiroshi that the Fire Nation colonies should stay.
