LOOKS : He is of average height and is what many would describe as a twig. His eyes are a simple blue and his hair is a dusty blonde that tends to have a mind of its own. Shawnathan presses all his clothing—his constant flow of dress shirts and his blue jeans—and tries spending his mornings making sure his blonde hair stays flat. His always-present round lenses are polished for clarity. However, his clumsiness always ends with him appearing to be messy and unkempt. Halfway through the day, his disheveled hair is more likely to cause others to believe he has just recently made the effort to roll out of bed. At least his smile is friendly and his family members aren’t too embarrassed to claim him.
PERSONALITY : Shawn has been described as a bit of a goofball; coupled with his short attention span and clumsiness, he can be quite the handful. He does not have a steady job and prefers to write his day away (yet he can also spend it examining the day-to-day life of the ants in his backyard). It is obvious that his wife is the man of the house and yet they both prefer it that way. He tends to leave projects unfinished either due to forgetfulness or because something far more interesting captured his attention. Despite his shortcomings, he is friendly and very understanding.
HISTORY : Shawnathan Conley was born and raised in Barton Town. It was his love for knowledge and his insatiable curiosity that took him all over the countryside surrounding his hometown. It was his curiosity that eventually caused the event that left him terrified of crabs (as well as any type of bee or hornet). Fifteen years later, he still refuses to go anywhere near Barton Cliffs.
It was when he was around seventeen that he met the woman of his dreams—Cerise Harley, a native to Aekea. And a year later, the two were married. Due to Cerise’s ambitions, the newly wedded couple moved to Durem. This also marked the beginning of Shawn’s writing career. Now, ten years later, things are much the same. Cerise is dead set on her goals and he is more than willing to make home as comforting as possible for her. Sometimes, she doesn’t come home for weeks and he eats dinner alone in their small, empty apartment. He is entirely understanding about it, of course; but eventually… his loneliness might cause a rare streak of selfishness on his part. And what will happen?

PERSONALITY: Outwardly, she is demanding, defensive, intelligent, and by far, ambitious. However, when she is at home, she is sweet and loveable. It is a side she cannot afford to let many see and only Shawn can get her to feel comfortable and safe.
HISTORY: Not much is known about her past, and even if there was a book written about it, she would not care. The past is the past and right now she is focused solely on the future. She is originally from Aekea.
