Bio:
Sydney was taken in by a foster family at a young age, before she was even aware of the fact that she was a demon. She grew up as a normal middle-class human girl would; going to school, hanging out with friends and generally enjoying life.
However, one night in her senior year of High School she was attacked by several armed men on her way back from seeing a movie with some friends. In a state of panic, Sydney used her demonic powers on instinct, transforming into her demon form for the first time. She easily defeated her attackers and drove them off but was left confused and frightened. She told no one for years, not even her family, fearing the wrath of the DWMA and other associated groups should they find out.
Sydney continued to live as normal a life as she could, graduating from her High School with Honors and going on to get her Medical Degree at a prestigious University. For the most part she stayed out of anything having to do with Kishin Eggs, Weapon Meisters, Witches and Demons, not wanting to cause trouble.
However, after several years of working as a Doctor at a well-respected Hospital, she was forced to use her demonic powers to defend herself and her patients when a Kishin Egg attacked the hospital. Unfortunately her worst fear then came to pass: instead of being grateful, the city put out a bounty on her head as a creature of madness and a threat to humanity. She fled the city, leaving her family and friends behind to roam the rural areas of the world and the outskirts of the unknown for almost a year, living by herself as a drifter.
While on one of her undercover visits to a small town for supplies she heard rumors of an Academy opening up for Witches and Demons who had allied themselves with Lord Death in order to fight creatures of madness who were bent on destruction. Realizing this may be her only chance for any kind of life other than one of violence or solitude, she quickly found her way there and applied for the position of the school nurse, hoping to put her medical talents to good use once again.

+Healing: If Sydney makes physical contact with a biological creature, she can transfer life energy from herself into it, healing wounds both physical and magical.
(Can use in both demon and human form)
+Heart Shock: Sydney places her hand on the chest of her target, right over the heart. When she activates her ability a shockwave of magic energy emits from her hand traveling into the heart of the target, sending it beating wildly off-rhythm. This isn't fatal, but does cause temporary side effects lasting for several minutes: Loud ringing in ears, loss of feeling, confused/muddled thoughts, loss of balance, muscles seizing up and slowed breathing.
(Can only use in demon form)
+Tail Hook: Sydney can extend her hooked tail a great distance, wrapping it around or sinking it into an opponent. It is very tough and the grip is extremely hard to break. She can also use this ability to hook into/around objects
+Seismic Seizure: Sydney uses her wings to launch herself high up into the air (about a mile within several seconds). Once she has reached maximum height, she returns to the ground at incredible speed (about a second to impact from maximum height), slamming into it on her feet. This creates a massive seismic impact, sending everything around her flying off-balance into the air. This can include people, plants, animals, loose terrain, liquids and man-made objects.
If an object is:
Less than 100 lbs: Sent flying well over a 100 feet
Between 100 and 200 lbs: Sent flying between 75 and 100 feet.
Between 200 and 300 lbs: Sent flying between 50 and 75 feet.
Between 300 and 400 lbs: Sent flying about 25 feet.
Over 400 lbs: Sent flying about 10 feet.
+Shock Speed: Sydney focuses her demonic energy into internal kinetic force allowing her to move at incredible speed, leaving after-images with every movement. She often uses this ability in conjunction with multiple close-range attacks, causing her limbs to strike so fast that the after-images of the attacks blur together, making it next to impossible to tell where her real limbs are striking next. This ability lasts 3 posts.
Personality: Sydney is unusually bubbly and friendly for a demoness, unafraid of interacting with others due to her mostly normal upbringing. She loves people of all kinds and doesn't enjoy using her powers to hurt others. She has an unusual amount of compassion even towards her opponents and is very talkative and open towards everyone around her. This applies even when she is in demon form.
