I recently watched
Liquid Rising and really enjoyed getting to know the liquid members, but one thing stuck out to me in particular, is this fantasy of evil VS Good, in the embodiment of team EG VS Liquid.
There's just so much there, story wise.
The relationship between InControl and Nony, former team mates during BW, though still friends, and arguably the veterans of their teams, but now they are protoss rivals.
The story of Huk, a young player, founded by Liquid, where he trained and gained the skill he needed to become a superstar, who is then seduced by the evil side, and abandons his team to join their greatest rival.
The rivalry, between Hero and Puma, and I'm sure there's all kinds of other story lines, I haven't even considered yet. All in all, I think it's this kind of stuff that really makes Esports so fascinating.
Also, makes me wonder if there is any fanart depicting these sorts of scenarios.
