Forest ran down the hallway, his gun clenched in his hands. He only had one clip left, and it was running out fast. If he was going to make it out alive, he would have to find more ammo, if there was any left lying around. There weren't any movements around him, and he slowed to a stop, taking in several deep breaths. The mansion seemed too quiet now. Glancing around, he spotted an open door, leading onto the balcony. He reached into his pocket to pull out the radio. It wasn't there. He cursed under his breath and slammed his fist on the railing. Now he remembered what he did with it. He gave it to Richard before they were separated. Hopefully he got away from "them" and called in rescue. He leaned over the railing to get a good look at Racoon City. He must have been the last surviving member of Bravo Team by now. He hadn't seen the others in hours, and the last person he saw was Richard.
The silence was broken by slow, sluggish steps that sounded behind him. Without missing a beat, Forest swung around, his gun raised, and fired it. His eyes widened when he noticed there wasn't just one; there was a horde of them, crowding through the door. There was no escape route, other than jumping over the railing, but there was no way in hell he was going to die. He kept firing, his bullets hitting every target. Only a few fell while the others kept moving forward. His gun clicked after the last bullet, a reminder that he had to change clips. Forest stumbled back until his back hit the railing. He was finished. His screams echoed in the air as they fell upon him.

The helicopter landed in the front yard of the mansion. Another helicopter sits several yards away from it, the S.T.A.R.S. logo branded on its side. Alpha Team exited out of the still running helicopter, keeping their heads low so they don't get chopped off by the blades. "Wait here until I give the order to leave! Understand?" The Team Leader asked the pilot, Brad. Brad nodded as the Team Leader followed after the other team members. The group kept their weapons ready while they searched around the helicopter, looking for clues about Bravo Team. One of the members, Joseph, kneels down and waves over his other colleagues. "Over here!!"
Alpha Team groups around Joseph and stares at the ground. A severed hand laid on the grass. "You guys owe me $50," muttered one of the male members, which in return awards him with a glare from a female team member standing there. She sighed and turned to the Team Leader. "What do we do now?" She asked. The Team Leader sighed and looked over at the mansion. "We still follow our orders: Investigate what happened to Bravo Team. Just because there's a hand here doesn't mean it's one of theirs." Joseph stood and brushed the dirt off of his pants. He could hear something growling several feet away from them, and he moved towards it slowly, his gun pointing towards the ground. A doberman stood in the bushes; Joseph sighed and lowered his gun. If there was a dog here, then it wasn't much of a threat to any of them. The dog lunged for Joseph and latched itself onto his throat while Joseph screamed. Several dogs came from the bushes a few of them going after Joseph while the others ran towards the other members.
"What the hell?!" The Team Leader started shooting at the dogs. There was something wrong with them. They almost seemed... dead. "Get to the helicopter! Now!!" Just as they turned to run to it, though, the helicopter was already in the air and leaving - without them. "Damnit Brad! Why now of all times--" A dog jumped at the team member, making her shoot it down. "Change of plans! Run to the mansion!" One of the members looked back at Joseph, then started running towards the mansion, following after the others. He's so close to the entrance now, but the doors are immediately closed off. He curses under his breath and continues running. If he plans on meeting with the other team members, then he was going to have to find another way in.

The Team Leader closed the doors of the mansion. "Wait! One of our men are still out there!" The Team Leader locked the doors and turned towards the member who just spoke, the weapons expert. "If we left the doors open for him to run into, there wouldn't have been enough time to close them - those things would have come in and tear us all apart." The three members were standing in a large room, their voices bouncing off the walls. "Now, lets continue with our investigation. If he's still alive, he'll find his way back to us. I want you two to stay together. Make sure you're back here in three hours." Without another word, the Team Leader started to move out of the room, leaving the two members alone.
