First off, I'm not talking about the real physical appearance of the avatar owners themselves.
What saddens me nowadays is that most of the time, when I talk to people I meet in gaia for the first time, or rather, try to be friends with fellow gaians, it simply stays a 'gaian' friendship. By that I mean, I know the person only as much as the item he or she wears on his/her avatar, or how successful he/she is on the marketplace, or on the latest EI's and stuff.
What I look for (indeed) is to know the individual behind the avatar- I enjoy it when I speak to fellow gaians in a way connected to reality, and know more about what they experience and what they do as well. For example, who their pets are. How their day's been. Maybe even their worries about the future. smile To me, it gives them a special status- I know them for what they are. (think PENPALS)
I hope I've explained this in understandable terms. smile If I haven't, I'm sorry. emotion_facepalm
Basically, I'd like this forum to be for people to know each other better- or to know me better. I don't bite. I like people. The one behind the screen. Get to know me- and others too~

I actually have made friends here before,back in 2004 and now that I came back with a new account they still remember me and I joined the same guild I did then smile They know actually more about me than many of my friends here in Finland smile

I am 24 years old and I live in Finland smile
( I think myself as a girl not a woman yet xD )
I work in a bar as a karaoke hostess during the weekends 3nodding
I just moved to my dad house a month ago or so becouse I broke up with my boyfriend. We were together for 4 years so it's been very hard to move forward and very weird being "alone". But getting better day by day ^_^
My dad has 2 dogs they are called Toma and Shiro 3nodding 3nodding
( I dont know what their breed is in english.. wolfhunters or something maybe? I have to look that up xD ) But the fancy name for them is Borzoi smile
I sing and read and play alot! smile

Hmm Tamsyn, Im 20 yrs old and a 14 yr old thought i was 15 lol oh and once i went to the dentist and the lady asked for my id cause she thought i was younger than 18 its pretty sad crying
Im live in the US and im 20 yrs old in about a month ill be 21 xd
I wish i could travel around the world ive only been to canada and the philippines
I love to read and listen to music! whee
Im in college and looking for a part time job
I have an older brother who i love but at times is a pain lol

Every time I go to the movie theater to watch a R rated movie they ask for an ID because they dont believe my age and think Im a lil kid trying to sneak in, lol my friends just laugh all the time.
I also have a story for about my mom lol she is shorter than me so shortness runs in the family. Ok, my mom and I went to the store and they were giving out free samples of food but u have to be 13 yrs old. lol My mom went to get a sample but the elderly lady stopped my mom and asked for her ID cause she thought my mom was younger than 13 lol
I was in hysteria from laughing too much, my mother was so shocked you should have seen her face lol
It's cause she is 4ft 11ins eek
Wow! So lucky Ive never been to Singapore. cry Not fair. lol

Yup personally I think people are just too tall, they need to be shorter so I dont have to look up all the time. lol
