The scariest thing just happened.
So, tonight there was supposed to be a big meteor shower. My mom and I went out at around 10pm. We didn't see anything in 10 minutes so we went back inside and wait till later. At 2am we had just got done watching stuff on netflix and my mom went to bed and I wanted to see if I could see some meteors since the chances were better. I was out there for maybe a minute and I heard the front door squeak when there was no wind and my parents were in their room. I moved back towards the door and continued to look at the sky. Then I started to hear tiptoeing footsteps in the (dead) grass and panicked and yelled "STOP" for some reason and ran back in the apartment. I had gotten the idea in my head after I came back in that one of my parents heard me leave from the front door so one of them went out the back door to come to the front and scare me, which is why I probably yelled stop, but it wasn't them. I went in my parents room and told my mom since she was still awake and I freaked her out too.
I figured it might have been an animal but it was just two feet I heard outside and the steps were too heavy to have been any kind of animal around here.
I'm not the kind of person that imagines noises either gonk
I wouldn't be so freaked out if there wasn't a good chance that someone could be lurking around outside our complex.
What creepy things have happened to you guys?

Oh my gosh that is super freaky *shudders* I mean there is probably a harmless explanation like someone else going out to watch the sky too but no matter how many sensible reasons you tell yourself are the source of the noises it always turns into an axe murderer stalking you...

I used to see ghosts all the time back home. Eventually; I ran tired of screaming/crying when nobody else saw it.

Yes it probably was a neighbour (who probably is off freaking out in some other forum or something about this XD ) but the thing is that at the time you simply are convinced it's a rampaging mass murderer or at least that's what I do. Over active imagination... not the best thing when you're freaked out XD
