Hey all,

I thought I would put up an example of a decent senshi bio. This is a bio that I took from a character I created in another guild (but may bring over this way)

Its not exactly the template I put up on the site. But its pretty similar. Note the amount of detail that was put into the bio. This is an example of what Dark and I would like to see in the bios that we approve. There can never be too many details about a character (unless you are writing contridicting details or are trying to make them sound Godlike)

Feel free to use this guide for your bios.

Player name/nickname(Your User ID): Misses Jenn Jenn

-Civilian-
Name: Michiko, Kohana

Age: 16

Weight: 150

Height: 5'8

Birth Date: May 31

Zodiac Sign: Gemini

Hair Color: Red (dark crimson)

Eye Color: Hazel

Physical Description: Kohana’s original family is believed to have an American background. Her skin is extremely light for a Japanese girl. She stands tall at a whopping five feet, eight inches. Her hair is red. It runs about three quarters of the way down her back. She enjoys wearing it in different styles. However, her favorite style is that of the pony tail. The tone of her eyes seems to change slightly according to her mood. However, this is not noticeable unless one is looking closely at them. Her body is well shaped, and her blossoming curves would be noticeable by members of the opposite sex if they didn't pick on her all the time. Her family is poor, so she generally wears simple clothes. Jeans and t-shirts are the norm for her. Although occasionally she enjoys wearing a nice skirt and blouse on a sunny day.

Personality: Kohana is generally quiet and keeps to herself. An orphaned child, Kohana has never felt close to anybody in her life. She finds it difficult to open up to anyone or make any friends. However, when she does make friends she tends to speak more openly about herself. She is often picked on because of how she keeps herself away from people. But because she is a caring individual, it isn’t uncommon to see her attempting to comfort even those who consider her an enemy in a time of need.

Family Michiko, Himeko- Adoptive mother
Michiko, Akio- Adoptive father:

Favorite Food: Ramen Noodles

Favorite Color: Blue

Other Favorites: Painting, archery and sewing are the main hobbies that Kohana practices. It isn’t uncommon to see her playing on the piano in the music room at school. And she also enjoys writing, although her skills as an author are still in their developmental phases. Drawing, scrapbooking (any type of arts and crafts activity, really), writing, playing piano, hunting, dancing, sewing, reading, swimming are all things that Kohana likes to do.

Dislikes: Running, fighting, confrontation and bullies.

Strengths: Kohana is strong, loving and caring

Weaknesses: Her weaknesses mirror her strengths. Although Kohana is strong, she hates the use of violence and words to take out her enemies. While she can stand up for herself and often does when she is angered, she tends to be rather shrewish until she is pushed to her limits. Sometimes, her loving and caring attitude gets the best of her. And she can be easily tricked into a bad situation because of these attributes.

Attacks:

Special Note: Ganymede was a character I created awhile back off of a different type of template. She originally had 2 elements and I've toned it down to what I hope is acceptable here. Please let me know if I overdid it and I will try to tone it down.

Her attacks are based off of lightning elements. Like Jupiter, she is a very powerful sailor scout. However, her strongest attacks are rare and only happen when she has built up excessive amounts of strong emotion. They are the strongest of her attacks but generally drain her to the point where she is almost useless after she calls them out.

Level 1: Storm Flare- Ganymede spins in a circle and shouts out “Storm Flare!” Upon the execution of the attack, several dozen lightning bolts form and are shot at the enemy. If the enemy is extremely weak, the lightning has the ability to pierce through him. The damage that this attack renders varies on the amount of times that the enemy is hit by the lightning. If the enemy deflects the attack, it can send the lightning spiraling back towards Ganymede and any other sailor scouts in the area.

Level 2: Lightning Symphony- A few spirals of her staff and the shout of “Lightning Symphony” sends multiple waves of lightning spiraling towards the enemy. So long as the enemy isn’t immune to lightning attacks, this has the tendency to deal a decent amount of damage although it isn’t normally a finishing attack.

Level 2: Spiral of Storms- A fusion of Storm Flare and Lightning Symphony makes this the strongest of Ganymede’s magical attacks at this stage of her development. A wave of lightning sends splinters of smaller, more powerful charged bolts of lightning straight through the enemy's body. Whats more, the trajectory of the attack is easily controlled, giving the attack more ability to do damage. Fried monster, anyone?

Level 3: Thunder Rampage- Clouds roll in as Ganymede focuses all of her energy towards the enemy. Once charged, Ganymede releases her attack, sending a ground rumbling blast at the enemy, designed to knock it directly off its feet. The downside? EVERYTHING rumbles. The attack, if not used properly, can cause small buildings to come tumbling down.

Stormy Winds Level 3- Rare Finishing Attack- This attack happens when enough emotional stress has built up for Genymede to produce enough power to release this attack. It starts with a firey wall of water appearing behind Genymede. Her eyes become a deep, dark blue as the attack wells up inside her, awaiting to be pushed out. Her arms cross, staff held in her right hand. She yells out a battle cry before yelling out the phrase “Stormy winds!” This attack, once unleashed sends a mixture of wind, and lightning charged water pummeling towards the enemy and does twice the amount of any of her other attacks.

Level 4: Lightning Sword- Pretty much self explanatory. Ganymede uses a sword charged with lightning to strike down her foes. Very effective in hand to hand combat. However, if Ganymede can't get close enough to an enemy to make a good swing, she can shoot a charge of lightning out the tip of the sword.

Special note: If it is raining while Ganymede is attacking, or there is water coming from somewhere, the water charges the lightning farther and spreads the attack out. If scouts are too close, they can become fried along with the enemy. However, if everyone is displaced well, then the enemy receives the full bunt of the attack.

Unique Abilities: Empathic. Though she doesn't know why, Kohana can often read the minds of those around her. This is a secret she shares with few.

Weapon: There is a lightning rod in her tiara (just like Jupiter's), In levels 1-3 she carries a large staff as her means of attack. Later on the staff turns into a sword.

Guardian: Akras, a purebred Siberian Husky (bio to come when I have the time to put it together)

Background Story:

Kohana was born in a small village in Japan. Not much is known about her early childhood except that her parents were murdered when she was only four years old. Nobody knows how or why Kohana survived. However, when her family was discovered, she was found in a closet covered in blood. The murderer of the family was never found.

She was adopted out to the people she now calls her parents, Himeko and Akio. They were poor farm owners who were very hard and strict on Kohana. Although they were strict, they gave her a loving home and taught her well. Her father taught her to hunt so that she could help to provide food for their family. When she was ten years old, it was discovered that Kohana was extremely bright for her age. For years, her village attempted to save money so that Kohana could go to a good school to get a higher education. But there simply was never enough money to send her to a great place. All Kohana could do was study ha
meday pay off.

Finally, a break came. A neighbor who lived down the street from Kohana found an ad for a school in Tokyo offering a full scholarship for one lucky and dedicated student. Kohana had to complete many entrance exams and write many essays. However, her hard work finally paid off and she was accepted into the school. Her family could not afford to move. So now came the hard part.

Where was she going to live and how was she going to eat?

And this is where Kohana’s entrance to the story begins...
