- The first puppet that Kuriko will use in battle. It is in a shape of a large snake with a razor blade at the tip of its tail. This puppet has the ability to deploy multiple weapons to disable an opponent: Senbon launcher, bladed arms, extending poison blades, and detachable limbs.

- Her first human puppet. She only pulls this one out during dire situations and prefers to keep him a secret due to the ability of his kekkei genkai. With blue eyes and black hair, Arashi has hidden weapons and mechanisms including: Poison blades, kunai launcher, poison gas, and a hidden poison tail that is wrapped around his torso.

Through the years, she has learned to control more puppets with fewer strings. Ichi: This puppet utilizes some form of chakra-like blade. The top portion of its head lifts, to reveal a round sub-face. This face then extends four blades, which begin to spin rapidly. Ni: This puppet holds sharp tipped extending cords/wires in its skull. It can extend these piercing wires into its opponents and use them to rip targets apart. San: This puppet does not have to have any hidden weapons, instead it used its body in defensive maneuvers to preserve the other puppets in the group. Shi: She is one of Kuriko's favorite. It's main purpose is to hold the enemy in a tight squeeze using its extendable arms while the rest attempt to attack them.

[→]Brief Biography:
Her parents travelled like nomads through the desert to trade with individuals. They weren't particularly wealthy, but when she was born, they tried their best to provide for Kuriko upon reaching Sunagakure. Looking to the bright side of everything, they hoped she would become a shinobi of great power by training at the academy. They loved her unconditionally and wished to have her prosper in life. They began to set up game stalls in the market. At an early age, Kuriko showed an interest in the life of a shinobi. While disappionted in her choice to persue a this path, her parents still tried to support her even if it was not the happiest choice they hoped for.

As soon as she was old enough to walk, her parents introduced her to the stalls; aiming to get him familiar with them in hopes of changing her mind. Customers were alloted three kunai and presented targets of varying distances with a few moving. Kuriko sat cross legged on the counter while her father gave her a short demonstration, failing to hit more than one. She giggled and grabbed onto one clumsily. Before her father could intervene and remove them from her posession, she had already thrown and hit one of the easier targets.Concerned that his daughter would hurt herself, he took her over to her mother's stall. Explaining what happened, he left her in her care. Her mother simply ressured her husband that it was just a odd accident.

Her parents talked long into the night on that day about the event, deciding what to do with her. With reluctance, they eventually both agreed that she should be given the chance to be a shinobi. The older Kuriko got, the more she persisted on going to the academy at a young age but her parents waited until she was the age of 13. Kuriko's grandfather, Tibika Gakuya, had been a nina himself but had been deemed unstable to continue his service at the height of his career. They were worried that if Kuriko were to become a shinobi, that the family linage would not continue due to the dangerous lifes lived by them.

Kuriko came of age and she soon found it was harder than she thought to reach her goal. She strived to be the best, knowing that she would have to work twice as hard since she was a female. When the graduation exams came up, she managed to pass with flying colors. She reached the rank of Chuunin when she was 17 and advanced to Jōnin upon the age of 24. Over the next few years, Kuriko was kept busy with A and B rank missions but always stopped by the academy to see students training hard. Her parents became used to her lifestyle and each accomplishment was celebrated with her favorite foods.

When the unofficial leader of Sunakagure passed, she had gained many well-known friends through her charismatic personality and took the chance at promoting herself as a versatile leader. She was challegnged by another, cliaming that a woman would not be able to run a village correctly. It was decided that whom ever could get the most people to agree to their leadership, would win the village. Of course, every person has a darker side. She learned that it would be much easier to use corpses than building puppets from scratch, leading her to obtain Daku's father for the use of the kekkei genkai.
