He quit dyeing his hair, quit wearing baggy clothes that he thought made him look good, and then went into the real world and got himself a job. He thought he'd grown up, but he really hadn't. Nexus discovered, within himself, that growing up didn't have to be done by giving up his life as a rider. It just meant that he had to look beyond riding and look at the real world through the eyes of a rider.
After coming to the realization that his life had been previously lived all wrong, he changed himself and the way he acted. He was now an adult and acted like one. He always meant business when riding with others and he still does, but he now sees that life is unfair and anything could happen. He'd have to live with the results of every race in his mind for the rest of his career and he didn't want that. His attitude was once care-free, but because of his realization he is now serious and determined about almost everything. Nexus has his fun side, though. _________BIOGRAPHY▪▫ Nexus was born in a small cabin up in the snowy mountains where he'd spend most of his life as a child. Since he was old enough to walk, Nexus had always been very independent and hated being tied down to one place for long. This became an issue later on when Nexus was just becoming a teenager and would disappear for days at a time about five times each month. Nexus didn't come home one day and he had left without a word said. His family had expected it for years, but they were still devastated.
Nexus thought he would do just fine on his own and he did for a while. He started riding Air Treks and was starting to climb through the ranks. He became a known face and at one point was ready to form his own team, but a defeat from one of the Storm Kings opened his eyes to how he was living his life. The King spoke of how Nexus should be looking at the real picture. Things in life suck and they aren't perfect. Nexus learned this and quit riding. At age eighteen, he had successfully opened his own business and was running a modeling agency. He was raking in millions every month since he had hired one of the best teams of photographers and expanded from there. He was a big deal, but he wasn't happy.
Nexus kept up his work until his twentieth birthday. He came to a realization that he didn't have to quit riding to be able to see the world the way it is. He now was understanding the words of that King. Nexus left behind his company and all of his fortune to his head staff for the company to be run by the. He just had a few requests that some neat gadgets were made for him when he started riding. After receiving those, he would head out and pick up a pair of new Air Treks to start riding again.

b i o g r a p h y ||Jun was really just your average joe. He didn't have any special skills like other kids and wasn't particular good at anything, really. Jun was just another blip on the radar and had no value to anyone. He got tired of this when he finished his first year of high school. He wanted to be somebody that others would notice. That's when he took up Hapkido. Jun would train every day with his master, Mr. Green, and would learn to become a dangerous weapon. Jun, however, was unable to finish his training when Mr. Green left for America to spread the teaching of his martial art. Jun would stay in Japan and keep training in what he knew.
Now, in his final year of high school, Jun is finally becoming somebody to notice. He's an attractive, teenage male with a very solid build and is known as quite an athlete. When a few girls started to take interest in him, this went to his head and he became quite full of himself. He supposedly knew exactly how to get into the pants of any girl he wanted, but he failed on many occasions. He did, however, get a few hits and would snatch their panties form their room as proof. Over this year, he had gathered quite a collection and he keeps them in his jacket pockets on the inside.
It wasn't long ago that he discovered this fad known as Air Treks. They were roller blades with powerful mechanisms inside of them that would evolve with the rider. They were amazing things and a lot of people from his school seemed to be taking interest in them. Jun wanted in on this. He got himself a pair of Air Treks and then got a custom paint job from one of his few, male friends. He went out to start riding and would soon discover his road, the Lather Road. Soon after discovering his road, he'd make the decision to pull together a few other riders, highest priority being set on his best friend Jinora, whom happened to be a tuner, and would form a riding team and hopefully better himself as a rider.

He was no tuner, but he knew his fair share of engineering. Yoshino idolized him and, with his decision to leave, her heart has been broken with the feeling of abandonment. When she told him that she'd follow him overseas, he made it very clear that he wouldn't allow her to do so until she could fly higher than he could. When she could defeat him, he would come back to test her. Only after she can win, will he let her follow him to America.
