Kotone Shoumetsu

User Image

Age: 15

Personality: If someone were to describe Kotone it would be a haughty snob. She's regal, speaks her mind, and seems to have a holier than thou personality. What comes out of her mouth can be taken as rude and insulting or even sarcastic. She's a stubborn, prideful person, and seems to be over dramatic. In actuality though, her snobbish persona is a mask that she uses to hide her more nicer and sensitive side, and her way of putting up a strong front after her father's death. Around only her family she is a shyer, quieter person, and is often rather unsure of how to treat them. The only time one can see her real self shine through is in her passion in Theater, where she's a generally happy and bubbly girl with a pride for her work. She's rather hard to befriend, as her initial personality doesn't endear her to others, but when someone befriends her she seems to have a rather puppy-like personality toward her friends, being loyal and wanting affectionate acknowledgement. As the youngest Shoumetsu, she was taught manners and fighting, but not much on running a city. Spending most of her time with her father when she was younger, she was pulled into the love of theater which spanned her love of beautiful things. As she loves beautiful things, she will truly complement them, letting a sliver of her real personality through. If one were to sit Kotone down and ask her how she felt about being third in line, she would honestly reply, "That suits me just fine! I know nothing about keeping charge a city, and I would most likely go down a path that would cause people to call me a tyrant just for protecting them. It's best left to someone who can protect and keep others happy." This reply shows that she has little skill with others, and admires her mother's and eldest sister's way of running the City.

Likes: Theater, Her deceased father, Beautiful things, Theater, The color Red, Her family, Theater, Lions, And did she mention Theater?

Dislikes: Fights, Shikabane, ugly things, death, betrayal

Hobbies: Theater, Sword fighting, Singing, writing

Favorite place to show off her royalty: "It should be obvious that I'm royal! Why should I point it out to someone who's too dense to notice?"

Kotone Shoumetsu

"I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being."

Text goes here

Kotone is the youngest Daughter of the Shoumetsu line and is what many would consider to be a great Actress. Her bratty, snobbish exterior doesn't make her a well liked person among the servants. Though not many know what she is truly like, as she hides behind many masks. A Daddy's Girl, she wasn't able to cope with the death of her father like her siblings and mother, and hasn't really accepted the fact he's gone. Due to the fact that her mother seems more concerned with her older sister, and her brother and sister tend to keep to themselves, she had turned to only depend on herself and Tetsu.

Her theme song is Heaven, which reflects her unwillingness to forget her father and the good times she had with the whole family before he passed. I picture her to kind of be voiced by Monica Rial. And her Arcana would be The Tower.
