Ðarren Ȑafe   Darren meowed softly and fidgeted in his seat. He had come to a problem. He hadn't been called his own name in so long it had begun to slip from memory. He pondered for a brief moment "Ah Miss my name is Darren" He said softly, "And I do enjoy music. Last I had the pleasure of hearing was from a young woman in the shops. And I heard your lovely song outside" He said softly, eating a bite before he set his fork on the table. "Apologies to you miss, I cannot eat much.  Жavier and Ѧlexa Wright "W-well it's alright. I-i guess it'll just take a bit to get used to eating like this?..." Alexa asked, tilting her head slightly. At least he liked music, and seemed he liked her singing from earlier. Those facts alone kept a smile on her lips as she finished her own plate before getting up from the table. She always liked helping the maids and butlers clean up after meals and such. And like before, it gave her time to practice her elemental skills in a refined manor, since it needed careful precision to lift the plates and not spill anything.
Xavier watched Alexa practice, then got to his own feet and glanced back at Darren. "I can show you your room if you'd like. Then you have the rest of the night to roam and do as you please. Just remember to be careful of Alexa.." He didn't have to go into details at how severe punishment can be, for surely the neko saw a brief glimpse of his anger beforehand. "I would suggest roaming on your own for a while. Alexa's music tutor will be here shortly, so she'll be busy.."

Ðarren Ȑafe Darren looked over to the Master and nodded "Of course Sir." He stood and took his plate to the women who were maids before returning to Xavier. "If it would not be to much of a bother. I would like to bathe." He said ears flat "Or if you wish for me not to, I'll have to oblige" He said softly "Some masters find that being clean is a earned reward, but if I am to be seen by most I think a bath would be best." Жavier and Ѧlexa Wright "Of course you may. Unlike other homes, bathing is necessary here. It keeps Alexa happy if everyone is clean and happy as well.." Xavier merely nodded to Darren before turning on his heel, heading towards the hall. He waved a hand behind him for the neko to follow, and led the way upstairs. At the end of one hall and to the left was Xavier's room, Alexa's room just across the hall from his. Darren's room was a bit more lavish than a normal guest room, only because Alexa insisted it be nice, and was right next to her room as well. "Your room has it's own personal bathroom, and the closet and dressers have been filled with a variety of clothes that should fit, since I got the sizes online. If you don't like some of the clothing, or if you wish to find something else in here, we can order some other things tomorrow."

Жavier and Ѧlexa Wright Quite the contrary, Xavier shut the bedroom door while staying in the hall, heading to his own room for a little while before finding his way to the library. There was a twelve-year old around the house after all, and he didn't want her to see anything she wasn't ready for. Hopefully Darren would catch on quickly.
Speaking of Alexa, she answered the door a good ten minutes later, a taller male making his way into the house and up to the study with her for her tutoring. Xavier was always paranoid of the man at first, being an overprotective brother after all, but he could tell that as long as Alexa was singing most of the time, he knew she was alright. -Velvet253- By the way, this weekend we're heading out for camping, so I dunno how much I'll be on the computer if at all for a week >< I should be able to get on like at night and all, hopefully. sweatdrop

Жavier and Ѧlexa Wright While Xavier remained in the library, taking care of some of his own study work, Alexa's voice could still be heard as she sang to the piano in the study. With a break here and there, she continued to sing for almost an hour straight before her lesson was up. "You are getting much better, Alexa. I'm sure your brother must be very proud of you." "Th-thank you!" Lexy led the man to the front of the house, and with a nod to one another, he left. Alexa ran a hand through her hair, getting a drink of water before heading towards her room. Of course she stopped when she noticed Darren's room was open and peeked inside.

Жavier and Ѧlexa Wright Alexa tilted her head slightly as he saw Darren just laying there, lazily playing with his tail. Since she had a good hour before bed at the least, she decided to walk into the room carefully and stayed by the edge of the bed. "S-so do you like it here?..." the siren girl asked softly, her voice just barely above a whisper. After all, Alexa wasn't accompanied by her brother like she usually is, and she wasn't yet used to having Darren around the house.

Жavier and Ѧlexa Wright "B-but h-he can't send you back!" Alexa whined, shaking her head quickly. "I-it's... nice having you here... P-please don't do anything to be sent back..." she whispered quietly. She felt childish for talking like this, but she really didn't want him to leave. She may have just met him, but he seemed different from anyone else Xavier got in the past. Alexa kept quiet for a bit, reaching over and petting his ear lightly.

Жavier and Ѧlexa Wright A tiny smile made its way onto her lips at the meow and swishing tail, scratching Darren's ear more. "Y-yes I do. I love it here... But we don't get many visitors, s-so it gets lonely... I-i'm glad you're here though..." she admitted softly, sitting on the edge of the bed while still petting his ears. She found neko ears (well, any furry ears) cute. But she was telling the truth about it being lonely here. Alexa had asked her brother once before about going out somewhere, or moving to a place closer to society, but he always said no, that it was best if they stayed here. Since she was only twelve, she obeyed and never asked again.
