The only thing that I have to say is make sure you hand-write it so she knows you're serious....if you just hand her printed letter it's actually easier for her to ignore. Hand-written shows dedication...it's a psycholigical thing...
I think it may have been typed up, but I dunno what she did.
Regardless, it had *some* effect.
My opinion, however, is that your little brother is entering that stage in his life where he learns how to conform to society's beliefs to fit in. Some effort to become close to your little brother seems to be in order. He's entering the crutial 'LOL f**!' years of his late elementary-early midle school years.
