Personality:
Izuma is a rather calm, quiet, and gentle individual in and out of soul society. He has a clean taste in music, poetry, literature, and tactics. Many that have gotten to know him say he would rather stay in the back to assist with his mind rather than his sword. When it comes to music and poetry, his taste is said to be unrivaled on the subject, at times he even speaks in poetry, though to the annoyance of others that see it as confusing. Izuma is also never one the judge individuals simply by looks, he would rather get to know a person before passing such bias upon them. Which makes him a very easy person to get to know and enjoy being around. In all Izuma is a great individual that sees the world in a large view, he also an irreplaceable person with a kind heart to those that know him.

However when it comes to important matters Izuma only speaks when he feels that he should get a point across. He also always states his mind upon agree or disagree with certain ideas or suggestions. In battle he is more than serious, therefore, if you force him to draw his blade. You better expect to go all out rather than hold back. Anything that harms his friends and fellow shinigami will be the subject to his emotionless killing.

Izuma was born in the world of the living with an older twin to an unknown mother. Upon the birth of his twin brother and himself there were complications, both boys were born premature and extremely weak. Many only gave them a short time to live. With that their mother gave them a blessing before they passes, despite her praying that they would live. It was soon after that the infants souls were released from their bodies in the park outside the hospital of their birth. But sadly before a shinigami could get there Izuma's younger twin brother was taken by an unknown being after releasing his spiritual energy in a cry. Izuma was spared as he did not cry out nor scream to which he was cleansed by a shinigami and sent to Soul Society.

Years would pass after his cleansing the Izuma would begin to grow into a decent young boy living in the Rukongai Districts, having no memories of his living world experience and of his twin brother. Despite some of the harshness in the higher numbered districts he was always willing to help those in need despite the dangers and the beatings that he would get. The family unit that he was set to was very poor for a lack of a better notice not even close to one of Soul Society Noble houses. However fame and standards were of no important to Izuma but rather family and friends this would later be the foundation to his being.

As more years passed Izuma became a star student within the Shinigami Academy. He was skilled enough in Zanjutsu, Shunpo, Hakuda, and Kido that even Vice-Captains in several division mentioned his name several times to captains about his skills. However it was short lived for it was only a few months later changed in Central 46 threatened his position for a time..Izuma only being 50 - 70 years old ( appeared 8 years old ) had only began his training and a real fight was beyond himself. He with many other students began were evacuated to safe chambers as a near civil war erupted. However peace was made and Izuma was spared to continue his training and learning.

As many decades pass Izuma became a full applied shinigami. But despite his young age in there terms and appearances he was approach my Central 46 and was appointed Head Captain. As former had passed awaydue to her old and advance age, leaving a massive void to be filled. Not wanting to leave Central 46 with finding another suitable individual, Izuma at the time known as "The Prodigy" accepted the position. He was the youngest and the first ever Head Captain to be selected with out a nomination from he former or the other captains of the Gotei 13. This would be a moment in history for not only Izuma but all of Soul Society.

As of now Soul Society is running and still doing their duties to keep balance. However recently strange things have been happening in all domains from Shinigami, Hueco Mundo, and the Living Realm that has raised alarms. So now it is up to the Izuma and the rest of Soul Society to find the source of this strange acts and disturbing acts and stop it.

▬▬┤|Shikai Release
Shikai Name: Oni no Fude (鬼の筆, literally meaning, "Demon's Ink Brush")
Shikai Incantation: "Draw out the blueprints that give birth to my creations...Write upon the papers the strategies that shall level pathetic invasions. Drip, Oni no Fude ( Demon's Ink Brush )."
Shikai Apperance: Sumi Brush
Similar to the one in the image, Izuma sword will change into a sumi or ink brush that is the size of his being. This crush seems to release what appears to be a near endless amount of ink from it's tip when Izuma put spiritual energy into of it. This brush despite its look is still a weapon and can block and parry attacks of his opponents as if it was a regular sword, however it uses to "cut" an opponent must be performed in a different manner. Although blunt attacks such as whacking and slamming an opponent with the brush is another story. To release his Shikai, Izuma will slam the case of his blade on the to its hilt. He will than spin the blade in his hand as spiritual energy gathers and changes its shape.
Battlefield Changes:
When Kinji uses the Technique known as Sumi, ink will be released for Kinji to perform his other techniques to the maximum of his abilities.
Shikai Abilities:
Izuma's release allows him to use the ink that is release from his weapon to draw or write objects that seem to almost take life and attack his intending target. However this drawings or writings must be of simply things and not overly complex. In thus, when Izuma writes the word "Cut" his brush and the ink he swipes at targets will gain the property or ability to cut say a person like a normal sword would. If he was to release ink and write "Bog/ Swamp" the ink that is release will have the property of bog or a swamp, causing targets to sink. When drawing, the images he draws must also be simply, say like a bird that allows me to travel in the sky, this bird will use the ink provide to take shape and act as if it was the real living thing. However because it it's make up it can only last as long as the use stays within a certain range of it.
Shikai Techniques:
1. Sumi (インク, literally meaning "Ink") :: Izuma puts the actual brush of his shikai on the ground and gives the command, "Sumi". Upon doing this thick, black ink will begin to drip from from the brush. This technique must be done in order for him to use the rest of the techniques. Some people have noted that the ink smells like that of blood and the feeling they get from it is that of fear and despair. Even people of his own division have noted they always get distance when Kinji begins to use this.

2. Kai (カット, literally meaning, "Cut") :: Izuma uses the ink form his brush to write the characters or word cut on a surface or in the air while right afterwards states, "Kai". This giving the brush part and ink of the brush the property to cut like that of a Zanpakuto that has been released. This being fatal if the opponent has no knowledge of the shikai abilities or underestimates it.

3. Numa (沼, literally meaning "Bog") :: Izuma will smash the brush of the Sumi on the ground. This ink continues to flood out until an area of thirty [30] yards in circumference around Izuma is covered. Izuma will than write the character or word int he air and give the command, "Numa or Bog". Everyone but Izuma, still in the ink will begin to sink down as if in a swamp or in quicksand. However others are able to gain immunity if they can touch Izuma brush. This technique is usually done to slow down opponents movements, also Sumi must be used before hand like before.

4. Bu (部, literally meaning "Unit") :: Izuma will write the characters or the word unit on a surface or in the air, before he than draws five simply images of what appear the be five people holding swords. He will than slam the tip of his brush down causing it to leak ink. Upon doing this it will begin to mend into figures like that of people. These ink beings are armed with ink katana that cut like the real think. There are total of five [5] ink beings. They are at the level of skill and power of a Seated Member in a division, however they are usually destroyed in two [2] hits by unreleased blades and one [1] by released. Again Sumi must be used before this technique is used.


▬▬┤|Bankai Release
Bankai Name: Maō no Fude (魔王の筆, literally meaning "Demon King's Ink Brush")
Bankai Incantation: "Bankai! Maō no Fude !!!"
Bankai Appearance:
Sumi Brush, but now handsize
Like his Shikai Izuma will obtain and ink brush, however unlike the large one that is nearly his size, this brush is standard large issued brush that can be held in one hand. However it should not be underestimated as it still holds the same potential in blocking an attack of a blade or even another Bankai. To release his Bankai Izuma will simply state Bankai and state his blades second name. With this done the case and the blade it's self will begin to look as if it is melting off into ink leaving Izuma wit the hand that turns into a hand sized ink Brush. The blade and case that before melted off will begin to spread out to cover the battlefield giving Izuma a location advantage. He is forbidden to release his Bankai due to the massive affect it has upon Soul Society.
Battlefield Changes:
Unlike his Shikai, Izumas doesn't have to use a technique to release the ink, his Bankai seems to release an infinite amount of black ink under his feet. When in a confine space, such as a large room or even a building, the ink will drip down from the ceiling and run down the walls. The Ink will also seem to float in the air in bubbles due to the massive amount of spiritual pressure put within it. It also begins to rain black Ink, seemingly having some affect on the weather in the skies above Izuma and any of his opponents.
Bankai Abilities:
Similar to his Shikai, Izuma allows him to use the ink that is release from in the surrounds by his release to write or draw symbols or images that come to life or have some affect on the affect on the surroundings or give the brush in his hand the ability to say again "cut". However unlike his Shikai, Izuma is able to be much more complex. This is because of his smaller brush he can write faster, in thus allowing him to write long phrases or characters. Also meaning he can summon more destructive ink potentials than in Shikai. This allowing Izuma to write out say, "One Thousand Swords" and a thousand sharp swords made of condensed ink would be at his control. Izuma could write out "Giant Tiger" and a giant image of a tiger would appear before Izuma and under his control. It is because of this that this very Bankai is forbidden to be release in a confined space and even in Soul Society completely due to it's destructive potential and clear affects it has on the battlefield.
Bankai Techniques:
1. Oni katta (鬼カッタ, literally meaning "Demon Cutter") :: Izuma will write the characters or word in front of him and than. With the word written, ink will begin to flow around his hand sized brush and begin to form into a large blade. With this large blade of condense ink created, Izuma will slash in any angle at his target, release a massive blade of condensed ink. This ink slash can cut a target to quite easily if not blocked or properly avoided.

2. Tetsu no Bīmui (鉄のビーム, literally meaning "Iron Beams") :: Izuma's favorite and well used defense technique. Kinji will write the characters quickly with his brush. He will than stomp on the ground and cause beams of condensed ink to sprout or erupt from the ground around him and on the battle field. This is usually done to block, intercept, or stop an attack. However this defense can also be used as an attack as an opponent could run into one of the many beams if not careful.

3. Tora Isogu (虎急ぐ, literally meaning "Rushing Tiger") :: A move that Izuma considers a finisher. Izuma will write the characters of this technique as he states it. The ink under and around him will begin to flow upward, condensing and taking shape. It is than that after a few moments a massive black tiger made of ink stands behindIzumai. With a flick of his brush, this tiger will rush at an opponent will intent to swipe, bite, crush, and smoother the target.

4. Sen Ken Burittsu (千剣ブリッツ, literally meaning "Thousand Sword Blitz") :: Izuma will not write any characters in front of him. Instead he will drop his brush into the large puddle of ink under his and his opponents feet. With this done, he will state this techniques name and the ink will begin to rise and condense. This condensing ink will take the shape of exactly A thousand blades of again highly condensed ink and spiritual energy. Izuma will than begin an onslaught of attacks until each and ever blade is used on his target or targets. Each blade will only last for three [3] clashes before turning back into it's regular state. This being Izuma's strongest and most destructive technique, he is forbidden to use it anywhere within a confined space.
