 XXXXSaji ☆═━┈┈━═☆Saji sat up and scooted over so that Dante could sit down next to her. "Well..." She started. What do people usually say when asked that question? "I was born in Sugar Ditch. That really poor neighborhood a couple blocks down." She crossed her legs and surveyed her dirty, hard feet, toughened after years of running throughout the streets. "In our neighborhood, the toughest kid was the one who could run the fastest, keep up with the group and not cry when they fell down. I'll bet you had a great life." She said, looking around at the big house.

 Dante chuckles light-heartedly. "A good life? I guess you could say that. My childhood was spent in reform schools. And when I wasn't in one of those, I was jumping off bridges or playing with knives, or even doing drugs. Yup. A good life in deed." He replies, recalling all of the different things he did in the past that got him in trouble as a child. Jumping over the back of the couch, Dante takes a seat beside Saji, a cocky smile in place.

XXXXSaji ☆═━┈┈━═☆"Huh." Saji said, appreciating how much trouble he had gotten into over the years. "I guess we aren't so different." She took another survey of the house. It was pretty clean, she admitted it. If he had a maid then she did her fair share. If he didn't that would be bad. "Do you have a maid?" She asked.

He shakes his head. "Nope. My mom has been coming by up until now to do the more trivial cleaning. I've been doing my own dishes and laundry. Stuff like that. I'm not a complete slob, you know." Dante replies with a light chuckle. In truth, he had a maid at one point though she quit after walking in on him sharpening knives in the living room one day.

XXXXSaji ☆═━┈┈━═☆"Up until now?" A lump developed in Saji's throat. It was one of laughter but all that came out was a choked sound. Her mother had warned her about this. "No man will marry you if you don't know how to clean. Watch, he's going to yell at you and make fun of you and I'm not taking you back. I'm just going to laugh." Her mom had said. Saji looked at Dante and sighed shakily. "Are there any other wives around here?" She asked. Maybe she could get some cleaning advice from one of them.

"Yes actually. Just down the street actually. Yuzuke's wife is moving in today as well." Dante replies with a slight nod. He smirks and peers at Saji. "You don't know how to clean, do you?" He asks, failing miserably at holding back his laughter. In a way, Dante had a feeling this might happen which was why he'd watch his mother do her cleaning as a child.

XXXXSaji ☆═━┈┈━═☆Saji glared at Dante, who was obviously amused, and wished she had her scalding hot shoes to throw at him. Instead she tugged his hair once, pulling as hard as she could, and crossed her arms. She knew she must've been blushing but she still glared at him. "No, I don't, so what? I'm sorry if you were expecting a great wife who would cook and clean while you sat on your a**." She stood up, realizing she was probably getting more defensive than she should have. "I was just thinking we should go pay someone a visit, so I can make a friend."

Dante's laughter dies down to a soft giggle. "Actually, I went into the whole marriage thing with zero expectations. That's why I took it upon myself to learn to cook and clean to some extent. As long as you can make me a sandwich, I'll be happy." He retorts, flashing Saji a smile. It's true he'd hoped she'd be able to do the cooking and cleaning but he'd also hoped he'd be able to get rid of her after a couple weeks. So much for those plans. "Yeah. If you wanna go to Yuzuke's house, I'll take you there."

XXXXSaji ☆═━┈┈━═☆"I-I can cook just fine." Saji said. Whenever she could as a kid and growing up she would make food out of the little her family had. She had also managed to make it taste good when they had barely anything to go by. It was a talent she preferred to keep a secret. "Ok, let's go!" She said, quickly recovering. She walked towards the front door, jumping over her luggage which was still laying in the hallway. She wanted to learn to cook, not to make Dante happy (which was partially why but she denied it) but to prove her mom wrong.

Dante sighs heavily but reluctantly stands. He trudges over to the door, kicking Saji luggage out of the way. "How can you have so much energy?" Dante inquires, ushering her out the door and locking it behind him. "Two houses down." He murmurs pointing at the Yuzuke's house just down the street from theirs.

XXXXSaji ☆═━┈┈━═☆Saji shrugged. "How can you have so little?" She asked. She looked out at the house and sighed. "Race you there." She said, and without waiting for a response she ran down the street, bare feet pounding against the concrete and the wind blowing through her hair, just the way she liked it. {Exit to Yuzuke and Suki's house}

Dante sighs and slowly follows behind her, too lazy to race. "Racing is for children." He murmurs, attempting to use such a phrase as an excuse for not participating.
