Personally, I'm more inclined towards DC. Mostly because the heroes there are actually appreciated by the public, unlike in Marvel, where it just seems that they're there to be moaned and shouted at.

DC because of the characters. They're so well known and have rich histories. However, since I've branched out into many different kinds of comics from different publishers, I've come to realize that better stories exist and better characters, too. I do hope, though, that DC fixes their mistakes in recent years and make their characters as grand as the public perceives them, because the New 52 stories have left me feeling bitter towards the company, and great films from Marvel will help elevate their characters while most of DC's recent films will bring their heroes down. In my opinion, of course smile

Both, comics are comics. It's the writers, and artists that make them, not the publishers.

Both are awesome, but the Marvel universe is easier to keep track of where as DC has unlimited universes' and can be a bit of a challenge sometimes to keep everything in line.
