𝔦𝔫𝔱𝔯𝔬 Around you is a marvelous garden but due to the lack of dream energy, the life force within the plants is slowly dying and crumbling down. The roots that hold the land in place are losing their hold and the world is thus in turn literally falling apart leaving the garden in the near center of the realm as the only true safe haven left. Holding the ball would be in an attempt to somehow save the realm and restore the realm to its original beauty. The garden will seem a bit crowded considering the animal life is all pushing farther and farther inward, but there will still be plenty of room to explore considering the actually process of falling apart is slow, but you will start to find colorless and lifeless plant life the farther you travel from the main garden. In a last chance act to save her kingdom and her country, Rheanae has called this ball in hopes of bringing in more people, both who live here and those from the world of Gaia, to help her save her world and bring it back to its former beauty. -♪Intro - ♫Rules - ♬Plot - ♭Setting - ♮Cast - ♯Contest -

𝔭𝔩𝔬𝔱 In an abstract kingdom faraway, there lived a princess and a peasant. These two children met when they were little and became best friends after the princess saved the peasant boy from a gang of bullies. As the two grew up together, the boy grew a crush on the princess. Not because of her wealth or royalty, but because she was kind and faithful. It took a while for the boy to admit his love for the princess to himself but when he did, he was afraid to tell her. Eventually the time came for the princess to choose her husband and he knew he had to speak out. The soon to be queen and her friend walked through the castles proud garden when the boy proposed to his best friend. The princess carefully and kindly declined his offer and then a few months later married another man. After the wedding, the heartbroken boy became the newly crowned queens duke and at the wedding met the new duchess. The duke and duchess became very good friends as time moved on and the duchess fell in love with the duke, but backed up to wait for his love for the queen to die down. She knew about it because the duke told her once they made the agreement that she'd have power if she was loyal to him.
The royal family planned a ball soon to come, but the king wouldn't be able to attend. This made the duke happy, for he could have more time with his queen. Plus, he had special plans arranged with the duchess. Something big was going to happen during the ball that nobody but those two knew about. In the garden lies some golden instruments and that's where the ball would be held. These instruments had to be collected, for they were the key to saving the kingdom. The ball was planned to inspire the townsfolk to dream and dream well because the plant life was slowly beginning to wither away.

𝔰𝔢𝔱𝔱𝔦𝔫𝔤 The Castle
Queen Rheanae and her staff are known for their slight OCD with the cleanliness of the Castle and it's surrounding court yards. The grand castle has always been the center of the kingdom and an honor to the ruling Inari family to maintain it as it should be. The Castle was built to be lavishly decorated and large enough to be capable of holding many public functions at once. As the Inari always said, "The Castle was built for the kingdom, and open to all who dwell in it."
The Gardens
The pride of the Castle and it's Kingdom, the Castle Gardens are possibly the most beautiful aspect of the entire realm. Colors of every shade can be found in these flower patches. In the very center stands a huge patio where the ball has been set in place with tables, food and refreshments, not to mention a nice pond just in clear view of the seating. Well groomed and polished, the music based plants play as a symphony to supply the music for the ball, though don't be surprised to hear a couple sharp, rash notes if you step off the paved paths, they can be very touchy about any one other then castle staff getting to close to them, they aren't very trusting with new faces.
The Forest
The forest that surrounds the castle is rather mysterious, especially during the night. Only a few have actually been inside to see what wonders, or horrors, may be inside. The forest actually looks very pleasant in the daytime, but is rather eerie at night. The plants that live in the forest are much like those in the garden, and there are a few patches of flowers. There are many signs around the forest's entrance saying things such as "Beware" or "Do not enter."

♫from a young age, Rheanae had never seen a line between royals and peasants. She never saw the reason for one. For a good majority of her childhood, her closest friends were peasants. But as she reached the age of a young woman, her father began introducing her to potential suitors. Even though she was rather close with her friend, Yuki, She knew her responsibility and what her heart desired. The story between Rheanae and her king was a fairytale. Even if the love was not at first sight, the two had decaffeinate chemistry from the start. She knew the whirlwind romance not long after she turned down her dear friend was like salting the wound, but she was in love and only hoped Yuki could learn to get along with him and stand beside her where she needed him, as a friend, especially with the realm crumbling slowly in on itself. The young Queen now found herself in the middle of a huge crisis, she must now save her kingdom and stop the life from draining out entirely. Now the Queen must call together the ball in hopes of getting a search party and sneaking out the key to saving their world.  ❃〖ʈɧє ρɾιɳʗҽϨϨ〗
♪The Princess is kind and helpful to all. She grew up disliking the Duke because he never let her play with the Queen and himself. Not that she cared that much anyway because she played with Annaleigh until her mysterious death. The Princess then played with Dessa who later on became the Dutchess. After the Queen denied the Duke, the Princess discovered a special talent: reading people and things! The talent let her see hidden feelings, including the Duke's new strange attitude. This didn't bother her much and she continued playing with Dessa and everything was happy, untill Dessa drifted from the Princess to do 'royal duties.' Every now and then they would cross paths and she would say hello, but inside Dessa, something different was appearing, and it felt a lot like the Duke. Then the first plants die and the world feels almost dead...  ✥〖ʈɧє ɗʋӄє〗
♬Yuki Mori lives the life of a loyal duke, best friend to the queen he serves. When he was very little, he lived on the streets. His dad left for war and never returned. All they got from him was a letter saying that he was leaving Yuki's mother for a girl that he met while shipped off. He never got to meet his father. His mother worked hard to support him, but sadly met her death while washing the laundry with her only child a week later. Yuki was seven years old and on his own at this point. He had to work extra hard. He got bullied at school and sometimes in town.  ❈〖ʈɧє ɗʋςҔϵʂʂ〗
♭Iridessa formed a friendship as a child with the young princess Rheanae with her loyalty and admiration for the princess. As a child Dessa would do anything for the princess, not for the power, but because Rheanae didn't see her based on her class. Dessa was much closer to the younger princess and spent much time as a child with Azmariah who became a dear friend.
When the young princess became queen, Iridessa was soon given the title of Duchess. During celebration of the title Iridessa met Yuki for the first time, for he had been given the title Duke on the same day. Over the years things changed. Dessa drifted apart from Princess Azmariah, while growing closer to Yuki. A soft spot for the duke was growing, even if Dessa realized he would never notice her.  ♘〖ʈɧє Ӄɳɨɡɧʈ〗
♬Renard has been a servant for the royal family since he was very young, growing up alongside the Princess and being knighted when she became Queen. Having grown up with them, he's very loyal to the Queen and the Princess, and is thus prepared to give his life for them and their goals. He's very quiet, though, and doesn't take well to being crowded despite his experience with royal gatherings, finding the machinations of the social-climbers to be distasteful.  ☪〖ʈɧє Ϩҽɼѵɑɲț〗
♬Annaleigh is the ghostly servant to Queen Rheanae. She was not only the youngest servant, but she was also very loyal. Queen Rheanae had her sing and dance for all the guests at balls as well as care for her and entertain her personally. Annaleigh was born into a family that was relatively close to the Queen. When Annaleigh's family had died as a result of illness and war, Annaleigh was left in the hands of the Queen. She grew up with the Princess, whom she treated as a cousin or even a sister. It is unknown how Annaleigh died, however, some say she picked up a strange illness and fell unconscious in the garden at age twelve. Ghosts don't age, but Annaleigh should be about sixteen now. Despite being a ghost, Annaleigh still sings and dances for Queen Rheanae. Annaleigh is able to appear and reappear when need be, and it comes in handy when spying for the Queen. You can tell Annaleigh is around if you hear the faint sound of music or smell the scent of fresh flowers.  ♟〖ʈɧє ʗῖʈɨʑеɳ'ʂ ɣσῖɔе〗
♭Born and raised in one of the many Enchanted Forests', as a child Nerida was taught that the world was a dangerous corrupt place, and that the place that she lived in was the only safe haven she would ever see. Her parents where nothing but strict and would scream at her whenever she would bring up any ideas of exploring the world; with her high strung personality one day she was able to find a way out of the foreest and discovered a whole new world. Well to her it was a whole new world, but it was just a town; thinking she had discovered the greatest thing ever she decided to share it back at home. The elders grew infuriated and punished her for exploring out when she shouldn't have, so they forbidden her to do any food gather or to roam out the permeters they had set for her. She she was literally caged in, and to add to the harsh punishment her parents then told that she is never allowed to dream to have any life outside their home.
That didn't stop Nerida in dreaming privately when she spent her time climbing the trees just dreaming away of what life would be. One day she finally decided to gather her things and ran away from her home, where she ended up at the village; there she befriended many people and they all instantly fell in love in how her personality is. Many told her about the stories of Royals and how rich and they were treated highly by the people, she admired the royals and only wished to become one of them, but she knew too well that it wouldn't happen. So what better way to just serve them? Nerida then learned how to dress elegantly by watching the women walk around with different styles and colors, so she applied what she learned from her old home and began to make her down dresses to the point that she is well known for designing her own dresses, Nerda is quite the seamstres. Even though she may be different from others, Nerida knew how to blend and befriend everyone who speaks to her; her lovely charm and personality keeps it that way.  ♙〖ʈɧє Pixie Gaurdian〗

Her life was dedicated to protecting the garden, the royal garden to be exact, she calls home. All she had ever desired was to keep her friends safe from creatures much larger than herself. However, due to her stature and limited powers, this task was a burden. Replacing her past desires, Vivi began to strive for powers that would help her protect her friends.  ♙〖ʈɧє Escaped Slave〗

There will be three categories: haiku, limerick, and sonnet. Haiku is defined as a poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five syllables each. Limerick is defined as a humorous, frequently bawdy, verse of three long and two short lines rhyming aabba. Sonnet is defined as a poem of fourteen lines using any of a number of formal rhyme schemes, using about ten syllables per line. There will be prizes for each category. First plaze receives an item and gold. Second place receives gold. Third place, also known as our honorable mention, gets a small gold amount but still gets credit for their poem.
