Urza saw the boat they would be riding in an already she felt uneasy. The western sea was prone to storms, and anything besides the largerst battle cruiser was prone to flipping. Urza didn't know how it was here in the east, but Urza had a feeling she would not be able to rest easy on the boat. At least she was in good company. Urza gave a smiled to Tsuni, whom was now prodding her armor asking if it was a smock to keep the blood of her foes off of her. Urza looked at Tsuni shaking her head, "It's not to bad to move around in. Takes a few years to get used to." Urza pounded her fist against her chest making a few clanging sounds. "Its to protect me. So that I may fight and protect others. In a way its representation of a knights inner most spirit." Urza gave the girl a smile looking at Miayko, "He should really know by now that the women of Oto are not to be taken so lightly."

With all that had happened to them thus far, Urza was happy to finally be on the ship. It was just a hop and a skip away to a new land, an another adventure, and Urza couldn't wait. Urza saluted the Otokage as well as the mist ninjas as she made her way on board the ship. "May The Maker watch over our journey, and be our guiding light." Urza gave a sideways look to Miyako, "I call top bunk!"

Toshi took on a more pleasent air of feel to him as he nodded at Tsuni. "It is indeed a cat. Good job." He smiled happily at her. He turned his attention to Kina and shook his head. "No, I found this little kitty in a cage and fed it. After that it attacked me a little but now it seems to be fine." He scratched under Lunar's chin as it purred. "Good... uhhh... boygirl Lunar." He really would have to find out if it was a boy or a girl but that was just better left for another time. He looked at the other two girls and looked at them. 'Looks like they got into a fight or something... well If you judge by the clothing... but they themselves look fine... Hmmm. Must have been an easy fight.' He stood there quietly not sure really what to do.

Tenshi listened to Shinzu, though he would have stayed anyways and waited for everyone else to board first. They were guests after all, no matter where they came from. Batsu didn't look very happy either. Geeze... whatever these guys are on, they need something new... They seemed to be in a constant contest with each other. He had a bad feeling... he was caught off guard when the Otokage gave them the hint of hearing whispering, which even had Tenshi wondering why he whispered in the first place. Probably another one of their contests... He followed the last person on the ship and placed a palm on his wakizashi, his normal stance. The girl in armor was sure an odd sight, but maybe it was normal in Oto, so he didn't bother asking. The other blonde girl seemed to have an attitude about something, and the boy seemed to have a fascination with his cat. An odd bunch, but Tenshi couldn't say much about it. Kiri had quite a few of those of their own.

"If any of you are in need of anything, please, do not be afraid to ask. We would like to make your trip as comfortable as possible," he said with a bow of his head. He could put his feelings aside and actually do what there mission was about. Then again, he was quite emotionless to begin with so it was a little easier for him. "I'll be over there if you need me," he said pointing to the front of the ship. The storm was a little interesting...

The darkness of the chamber was near complete, save the burning blue flames from the gas lamps...and the dull crimson light just barely peaking through the lines of what seemed to be...a massive vent in the center of the floor.

Well...the aforementioned light sources, and the strange almost iridecent eyes seemed to coming...from the man in black. his steel feet echoed across the floor as he approached the center of the room, stopped just at the edge of the massive vent.

"And you're sure this will work...?"

"Of course!" lenses seemed to flash in the shadows behind him, and a manic smile that was somehow even more disturbing than a certain "last laugh". "It's a matter of Science... they DID teach you about science that little chapel we found you in didn't they old boy? EHEHEHEHEEE."

"...Your beginning to ware on my patience, Katojin." The man's smile seemed to falter somewhat.

"Eh heh...eh ahem. Well, the long and short of the matter is that the channeled massive heat produced by this device will be shot straight up into the atmosphere. Sort've like a REALLY big Fire Release...only one an entirely different level...with this puppy's design, the heat not only spreads out quickly, disrupting the atmosphere and mixing almost immediately with all comparatively cold air in the area, but it ALSO disperses a VAST amount of vaporized water into the air along with it....the practical upshot of which is...well..." the man gave a freakish laugh. "Why don't I just SHOW YOU!!!" the man's hand shot out and seized a nearby level, and pulled down. "Let's just say that STORM of the century is an understatement! EHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEEEE!!!"

The man in black's eyes narrowed behind the demonic visage of his...mask..? Helmet...? his dark voice seemed...almost startling calm and relaxed as the vent set loose a vast torrent of twisting seering light and steam "...Excellent."

The high winds...seemed to come out of nowhere. The black sky seemed to be cloaking out wards from the south, a sudden and vast shift in temperature suspicious to the keen observer...

With the sudden deluge of rain thunder cracks overhead. The Violent winds and buffets waves suddenly rocking the boat leaving many of the normal crewman temporarily off balance

The storm that seems to have fallen upon appearing to blossom over their heads like a wave. It is moments before the deck in chaos, and all in being pelted by thick sheets of rain, as though a curtain of water has been cast over the entire scene. It's hard almost, in overcast darkness between the flashes of lighting, to see one's hand in front of their face for the thick sheets of water.

The radical waves continue to rock the boat, the ocean slowly building in unsteady pace due to the harsh winds, while the crew begin to rush to secure the sails to stop them from ripping, chaos erupts over the deck, one man falling over the side as the madness of the storm takes hold....

Toshi looked at the fast approaching storm and shrugged. Storms were bound to happen out here. He shrugged it off thinking nothing of it. As they got closer to the storm the waves began to increase as well as they sent the boat in all kinds of angles. Toshi tried to stay upright but as the rain began to pelt him he slipped like a klutz. He quickly grabbed lunar and held her in his arms as he fell. He hit the deck with a thunk. He winced and wanted to say something but he was already sliding around the deck on his back like a turtle on ice. He bumped into a few barrels and groaned as he then slammed into stairs. He tried to stand up once but fell and nearly bit off his tongue. After that he was content to huddle in a ball and be shuffled around on the deck.

Kina seemed to be clinging to the side of the ship, looking at the boy Shinzu with a aggravated face as she glared at his apparently ability to maintain himself amidst the waves, as one of them nearly cause the ship to capsize. "A little choppy water..." She muttered to herself with a squinted eyes. Still... Kina's face turned slightly more passive as she looked around them at the fierce storm. This storm...it wasn't natural... there was something altogether wrong about this...weather like this, even at sea, didn't just happen so quickly... the change in the winds, the shift in the temperature... yes. That was the really odd thing. The suddenly intense heat and moisture in the air. They were at sea, so humidity was common, but the sudden spike had been so very abrupt...it was like a wrathful god had taken notice of them and was raining down it's punishment on them... she continued to cling to the side of the boat for dear life...

Tsuni was standing on the deck looking rather adjusted to the fierce forces rocking the ship, her feet planted in just such a way to keep her weaker more frail human form from toppling about. She rose her foot slightly as the ship shifted one way, a barrel and few loose crewman sliding by her, before using said foot to stop Toshi from sliding around the deck. She seemed to only be concerned with her big bro's and sis's, not even blinking or moving to help the man struggling in the rigging.

Kina looked over. "Aren't...you going to help him?!" Kina inquired looking towards the Mazakou, who merely looked back at Kina in her usual way.

"Tsuni doesn't see the point in helping a serf that isn't even under the care of her big bro's and Sis's. She is not concerned with the lives that are not precious to her. If the serf dies, it is because his lords were not skilled enough to save him." the cute way of the girl's speaking was not enough to hide the...detachment, of this statement. She truly did not care if the man lived or died. He was not someone precious to her, and thus he was less than dirt to her. It gave her otherwise adorable personality...a chilling feel, to Kina. Tsuni was indeed someone with the rough mentality of a child who loved her "family" dearly...but merely from her own mind set, this meant to her that people who were not her family were nothing more than potential targets for her to destroy.

"Tsuni's priority right now is protect her big bro's and Sis's." she reached down and helped Toshi to his feet, even if he was still unsteady on them. "Anything else is not her concern."

It made Kina wonder just how easily the seemingly older girl would have strangled the man personally at merely an offhanded request of anyone of the Oto students. As someone who valued human life...to an extent, herself, Kina found that...sad. The child weapon wasn't trying to be cruel, or evil. She was just acting in the manner which she had been conditioned to by her upbringing. She was just a child who cared nothing if the world burned, so long as her corner of it remained unharmed...

Still, Kina continued to hold on to the side of ship even as she thought this. She couldn't do anything about it now. She cursed her own inability... if only she was just a little stronger herself...



Mikito was keeping close to his students, trying to keep them all together and safe amidst the sudden and churning storm. He was more than able to keep his footing amidst the deadly waves, their wrath casting the boat about like toy as they continued to build in ferocity, but he was far more concerned with this storms cause. This was not normal, and if it was a jutsu, and actual technique...it was not a good thing. Only a high level Ninja would be able to do something like this with pure chakra... but then...the sudden shift in temperature...WAS it a technique....? He turned his gaze above, as though looking for some sign of something in the sky, his attention slightly diverted away from the proceedings on the ship. There was definitely something off here...

Reaction to all who passed the awareness check
(( You are stricken with the sudden shift in temperature... it's most certainly not normal. For the weather to take such a sudden shift at sea may be normal, but not THIS suddenly. Whatever has born this radical storm, it's not the hand of mother nature. This is almost akin to what one might see if a volcano erupted, but there would also be a great deal ash,if that were the case, and the waves would be even higher. Whatever is causing this is similar, yes, but...different, somehow...))





Then suddenly, looming up above the ship, is the biggest wave of all ,not a tsunami, but more than enough with ther rest of the thrashing sea to nearly capsize the ship. The Ship manages to bare with the rushing tides, manages to survive the fierce waters... but as the wrath of the sea clears from the deck, amidst the vicious rain... the students of Oto...are washed over board... into the awaiting sea...

The tides and torrents of the waters fierce, and pulling you fast and ruthlessly away from the ship. While a group of you manage to stay within the same current, another viciously parts you from two other members of your party. Mikito, who fighting to save the first to be swept away in likewise caught in a seperate tide, and Kina, who's weaker constitution as a Maboroshi makes her no match for the vicious sea... she is swept away and out of sight...but in the unrelenting waters...it is nearly impossible even so much as say which direction she was pulled... the sea continues it's wrathful siege...

Luckily most of the crew seemed to hanging on to the rigging, but the main sails and the man struggling for his life still need tending too if they are survive the storm!!
