This was no bueno. "You ********- No. This is my home. I spent two months on it <******** you." Sword gripped tightly in his hand he tried to ignore the fact that this was a goddamn pyramid head and he really did not want to deal with it holy ******** why did it have to be silent hill? "I've got no secrets only that you're mistake. This is our home and you can rightly ******** off." He swung hoping he could drive it off. So much Silent Hill Do Not Want. Ashford laughed, a horrible sound deep in his throat.
"Two paltry months. We are here for something older, something eternal." He circled the hunter, blade out, lifted. He slashed it, bringing it down against the ground, the echoes of its impact slightly reverberating against the ground.
He exerted his natural ability without thinking, pressing guilt upon Marcus. While he could not tell what it was, the reaper could find it, intensify it, wrapping the other hunter tightly in it.
Whether it was a downfall, a failing, or a regret-- it would seep into his skin. Ash tightly pointed it at the other, lip curled beneath his helm.
In a voice low and hissed, like an irate serpent, the Pyramid Head merely growled: "We. Will. Do. No. Such. Thing."
"We are home. We are so close."

He cannot change it, only intensify it. The amplification is a blanket area of effect by default, so if there are multiple targets, he has to focus intently on one person in order for it to be of any use. Otherwise, four people will maybe sort of feel bad for forgetting the milk that one time, and be done with it. His hand was trying to be steady, to not just lash out in fear and without thought. So what if it was a pyramid head? It was a freak, just like any other, it could be killed, just like any other. So why was he so ******** scared of it? Logic said he had no reason to be, but for some reason the monster upset him and threw him off, (Dis didn't bother to correct him). His hand was not steady and with a charge, he lashed out. He hated being weak, he hated not thinking things through. More than that, he hated being a damn failure. OOC Marcus is targeting Ash! Ash screamed, a screeching sound akin to rusted nails against a chalkboard.
"WE REQUIRE HOME."
He pushed harder, twisting the knife of complete and utter guilt as much as he could before the natural ability relented, fading--
but the blows that followed were too much for Ashford to keep up his concentration. Two scimitars pierced his skin, revealing grey under grey under grey. He bled grey, dripping and viscous and dark.
The fire that soon followed only enraged his voices, the call of home echoing, amplifying, until it was deafening.
He gave a single look to Marcus, derisive.
"We have a task. WE MUST COMPLETE IT. There is no choice, for us. WE WILL FIND IT."
