Oh that's pretty understandable if Grombie > BOO skin to you...
At least the Grombie is more visible than the BOO skin avatar you had right?
Yeah that sucks about TM. I never played it but the graphics looked pretty cool.

The advantage of Grombie Skin is I can change my avatar :/

TM was a mixed bag of quality. But the Gacha were awesome! You only got one of the items displayed for that Gacha and it was 25 cent to a dollar per play/item. They tripled prices recently though and are shutting down now. They also had Animated Eyes ( more animated items in general, but the faces were a great feature).

Well on the bright side at least Gaia's starting some sort of animated item system ;D

That gacha system sounds nice. To see what you might get.
I didn't know prices were so low! I always assumed TM was one of those more expensive avatar sites because of all the heavy graphics.

It wasn't items you might get like the RIG/CI here.

It was the only items that Gacha gave.

So if there were 8 items in a Gacha. Those 8 items would be displayed. Only those 8 items were the items you'd get ( you'd get one per play).

Each Gacha had an option to play multiple times and get extra. Currently it's 5 plays give 6 items. But in the past they had it work like Poker. So what you got determined the number of extras you were given. That was sweet because I get repeats so badly. I think one play I paid for 5 items and got 10 because I had so many repeats. That might have been 10 items for $2.50.

That is sort of confusing xd Maybe I'll see if anyone's posted any youtube videos about TM's gatchas...I need visuals >.<

It sounds like a more kind system compared to Gaia though.

It's much better then RIGs/ChanceItem/Boxes.

The rewards on Poker were based around poker. I think 5 different items gave 1 extra. A Pair ( two of the same item in the same color) gave 2 extras. Two pair gave three maybe. I forget. Poker confuses me. Point is if you got repeats you got Extra Items from the same Gacha.

Japan's version had alot more you could do. Like you could some times change color on a rare for free. Lotsa options.

That sounds much more fun than Gaia's click-and-go items..
I wonder if Gaia has ever considered changing the style of their RIGs to make playability different.

But it sounds like TM'ers got more items for the dollar. That's pretty appealing.

Gaia rarely has RIGs that are limited to the items for it. Like FMA Brotherhood and a couple animal RIGs.
