This is the main hub of the city. The busiest place. The neighbourhood for the Slave shops is outside the city limits, but not so far that Masters have to drive for hours to get to the central areas.
The city contains everything a typical city has: shops, restaurants, high-rise apartments, skyscrapers. The works.

Just outside the city, next to the Markets are the older, more historical streets of the city. Some areas might call them the Slums, but they are home to many happy, colourful people.
Most of these places are home to odds and ends shops, apothecaries and Asian and Middle Eastern restaurants and supermarkets.

Hailing a taxi, Cam told them to drive away from the Hotel while they figured out where they wanted to go. The exchange involving eating an entire cow made the driver's eyes widen a bit, though the expression was unseen by the pair in the back. Really, they sounded like two teenagers trying to figure out how to live on their own and that assessment wasn't very far off, all things considered. But when he said a steakhouse, Camarin nodded and leaned forward a bit to the driver. "Please take us to the best steakhouse in the area," she requested, before settling back in the seat and looking up at Flynn. "Oh, it's all right! You can eat as much as you like, I don't mind," she assured him cheerfully, a smile on her face. She liked feeling at ease around him, for some reason, and she supposed it was the fact that he didn't lie to her.
Once they were in the city limits and not near the Hotel, the Hai Chiai reached over and her fingers curled around the collar that was on his neck. "Now I can take this thing off of you," she said happily, finding the latch and pulling it open. She removed it from Flynn's neck and set it in her purse. The girl wasn't planning on keeping it for later use, she just wasn't sure what to do with it and wasn't going to toss it away in the car for the man to clean up later. "Feel better?" she asked him, smiling up at him happily. Camarin really was in a good mood, happy she'd found a friend and someone to keep her safe, as her family had told her to do when she was out in this strange world of humans.
Camarin looked out the window as they turned into the city, her eyes wide as she saw all the people and lights and buildings. It was fantastic to her, all sparkly and shiny. The cabbie did as requested and brought them to the best steakhouse in the city, an upscale place that was packed to the brim on weekends. Luckily it was near lunch and there was room available, no one waiting outside for a table as he pulled into the parking lot. When she realized they were at her destination, Cam perked up and slid out of the car, grabbing Flynn's hand to pull him with her. "Oh, thank you!" she said enthusiastically. She brought out the money and handed him his payment, as well as a nice tip. The Hai Chiai was nothing if not generous. "Do you know a real estate agent nearby?" she asked him, repeating Flynn's words as she had no idea what a 'real estate' was. The cabbie nodded. "Sure. Listen, I'll go get some lunch and them come back here to wait for you. When you're done eating, I'll bring you there," he said, willing to stick around since she'd tipped so well. Her expression brightened and she beamed at him. "Oh, thank you! Come on, Flynn," she said, her fingers still laced with his as she tugged him up the stairs and into the building.
The hostess took them to a booth at a window, so Camarin could look outside at the city while they ate, and a server quickly came by to get their drinks. She ordered a lemonade, still looking over the menu curiously, and let Flynn order what he wanted to drink. "Get as much as you want," Cam told him, glancing up over the menu to smile at him. Looking back down, she picked out a few things, hungry herself. The waitress was sure to be a bit shocked when she returned to the table with their drinks and heard their order. Cam went first, still a surprise to the woman. "I'd like a New York strip, a baked potato, a salad, some coleslaw and potato salad, and some corn," the petite female told her, watching her write it all down. "And what would you like, sir?" the woman asked, turning to the male across from Cam.
