I have had eggs w/ many things added to the mix... milk works very well for fluffing. It seems anything w/ grease is heavy and will flatten your eggs. xp Now I will add some butter to the pan to avoid the eggs sticking to the pan. (and for some flavor)

And if you want something besides ketchup or salt and pepper to top your finished eggs... try soy sauce for something different.

As for the rice, I have a microwave rice cooker. If your stove's being utilized, it's kinda handy.. but not that much faster. You don't use the minute rice, you use the regular rice and cook for about 20 minutes. The only difference here is it's harder to burn the rice. (not that I would know much about that... or anything rolleyes )

Unfortunately that happens to some people. I have a son that is lactose intolerant.. and I am unable to handle anything with coffee or sweet potatoes/yams in it. Both make me violently ill

Eggs> Blend in a blender with salt, pepper and a little milk.

Rice? Rinse it well before you put it in the pot to cook, rinse it again after it is cooked and add a touch of oil. I like hazel nut oil if I don't want to fry the rice.

Rinsing the rice really well i have found helps and it makes the rice better. If you cook rice to long i know it will become sticky and if you dont have enough water in it does as well. Ummm..... I will ask my hubby tonite what else can be done to make rice not sticky. He is a culinary student and a wizard in the kitchen. He makes all kinds of dishes you would never think of in the micorwave including rice.

Hi! i was invited to this guild so i shall take the chance to seek help in cooking...
Besides fluffy eggs, how does one make rice not so sticky in a microwave?
with the microwave (if I remember cook the rice for 18 min. instead of 20 min. it has a better taste to it like that) as for the eggs...add some milk (not too much, and whip it real good (with an electric mixer) before putting them on the pan) that's what I do at least... biggrin
