Reason they are an orphan: It was very late on Christmas eve and Ai noticed her older sister Hinata wasn't home yet. She went out to go look for Hinata and once outside she realized there was a blizzard. Ai ended up being pushed around by the wind and got lost. She was found on Christmas day curled up in a shack that Ai was able to find. Ai was 14 at the time so she has been an orphan for a year.
Do they want to be a contracted monk: Depends for who
Do they like the Shikabane or Shikabane Hime: She knows very little about both of them but she thinks shikabane hime are better because not only do they kill the evil shikabane but they work hard to prevent themselves from becoming one.
Do they plan to be good or rebel: So far she plans to be good because she believes that the temple helps keep the shikabane hime good and protects them from being shikabane.
