Angelique Duet is the DS port of the original Angelique. In it, you play as a high school girl who has been brought to some sacred floating island as she partakes in the Queen examination. Should she succeed and beat her rival, she will become the next queen of the cosmos.
But the road to queendom isn't without trial. To prove her worth, she'll have to cultivate a continent and with the help of the guardians, a group of men who can harness the power of different types of energy.
Things to note about this Let's Play
- This game is not available in English. It is unlikely to ever get an English release, and there are no English patches.
While I am not fluent in Japanese, I do have some experience with the language as well as a handy guide to help me out. Don't expect a literal or perfect translation.
I am only going to be doing one playthrough. Angelique is not plot driven, and is based off of mechanics. While it's fun to play, it gets repetitive very quickly.
While the Guardians introduce themselves pretty early in the game, here's some basic profiles of all of them, including my own thoughts on them.
