Master Huntress Munashii [Hurgh. This isn't dead on my side - I think Lieutenant just forgot. Dx] [I didn't forget, i'm just notoriously lazy. <3 Plus, I have lots of s**t to do irl. Anyways......]
The Equalist looked at the Lieutenant; at the Lieutenant's nod, the Equalist flicked a switch on the dashboard and the gate of the tunnel lifted. As the Equalist drove into the tunnel, the Lieutenant answered Munashii's question. "Now, we head to our base and get your officially settled in as an Equalist."
They drove through the labyrinth of tunnels for awhile until they came to a sudden stop. The Equalist flicked another switch and a door on the side of the tunnel wall swung inward, revealing a secret entrance.
They entered the Equalist Base.
[Man, I used the word Equalist too much.
Should we make a thread for the Base?]

As the day started to fade slowly from the sky Naida realized she was lost. The equalist pamphlet she had picked up from the survivors support group had very vague directions and seeing as she was terrible with directions to begin with the young woman decided to take a break. It was about time to take her pain medicine as the tightness and stinging in her arms and hands reminded her. She placed the pamphlet into her medical bag and stepped into a little restaurant across the street.
She took a seat at small table and ignored the weird looks the waitress gave her, probably for her surgical mask and eye patch. She timidly ordered a glass of juice not wanting to be rude and only order water. The waitress made quick work of getting her a glass of lychee juice.
Naida reached into her medical bag and pulled out a vial of clear liquid, unscrewing the eyedropper and squirting a few drops into her juice. After a quick look around to make sure no one was watching she carefully lifted her mask to reveal badly burned lips and cheeks before wrapping her black gloved hand around the juice and brought the glass to her lips, downing the substance as quickly as she could. She replaced her mask down over her mouth put the vial back in her bag, pulling out a few yuans from the little money she had left and placing it on the table before quickly making her leave.
She pulled the pamphlet back out and looked up and down the streets. Cursing her lack of direction she decided to go to the more popular areas of the city, hoping to run into an equalist recruiter that might show her the proper way to go.

Shim Hen Shim stared at the other girl with a mixture of disgust and pity in her eyes, while she continued to call her names. One thing was for sure, she really had to be a snobby bender judged by her attitude. Maybe she was a firebender. That would fit her personality and even her looks perfectly, she thought. Expecting to be burnt or knocked off her feet just any second, she was caught off gaurd when the raven haired one simply dropped the Yuan on the ground in front of her and proceeded to walk away. Was that even possible? Another Non-Bender behaving like that in a time where all non-benders were supposed to stick together against their bending opressors? Shim stayed still for a moment staring into the blank air, but then she was able to collect her thoughts again. Quickly she picked up the Yuan. In her mind a bit of an insane idea had begun to grow. She would try to win that girl for her cause instead of holding a gruge against her. Even though she disliked her in every way possible, she was still a non-bender. And to stick to her own words every non-bender had to stand united these days. Wait!, she shouted after the girl and followed her, just to catch up with her a few moments later. You forgot your bread. I told you you could keep it if you payed for it. With a bit of a forced smile she dropped the loaf of bread into the teenager's hands. I'm sorry I walked up on you like this, she continued then and eyeballed her opponent to analyse her reactions. Its just that this was taken from a non-bender merchant who has a really hard time defending himself from the bender triads already. She paused and frowned. You are a non-bender too, aren't ya? Why are you picking on your own people then? She quirked an eyebrow at the girl. As she was talking to her possible recruit, she didn't notice the woman with the black eyepatch who seemed to want to head to the more populated parts of Republic City.[Eh I tried to get you into our conversation so you have an easier way to jump in, Shion, but I'm not sure if I did good or if its fitting. I hope its allright.]

Kelly Nicole Sayuri  The female continued to walk until she heard the other tell her to wait. Stopping her tracks she heard the female. Only listening to her words she felt the bread be put in her hands again. "Lots walk up on me like you did." Kelly didn't even glance at the other, her eyes looking ahead as if they were locked on something or someone. "I am a non-bender, though from the Fire Nation.." Letting out a angered sigh she said. "Because I can, and I want to. I don't stick together with other non-benders, I go on my own way, always have.. always will."

Shim Hen The woman wanted to face palm hard at the response of the teenaged girl. How could someone be so immature? This was going to be hard... Maybe it hadn't been a good idea to try to recruit her at all. With an annoyed sigh of disbelief she responded: That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard! With that attitude you're not going to get anywhere. She clenched her fists hard being so upset about her opponent's response. What are you going to do if a team of benders is ganging up on you? I don't suppose you can take down all of them on your own. She also wanted to add that she doubted her ability to take down even one of them but forced herself to stay quiet about it. Afterall she was trying to win that brat for the movement, she couldn't risk to make her even more pouty as she was already. If we all fight together, she continued and turned down her voice untill it was almost a whisper, we might be able to overthrow our bending opressors, if you know what I mean. She had to be careful on open street, she didn't want to get caught by the metal bending police. Doesn't that sound great? she then finished and a smirk glimmed on her face.

"Why would I want help from anyone?.. it's a waste of time, and also how fast I can accomplish something." The female had no expression on her face but the hint of annoyance in her dark eyes.

Naida stopped in her tracks, hearing the other girl talking about the bending triads threatening other non-bending merchants. Could she be...an equalist? The medic went to lean against the wall of the building close by pulling out the equalist pamphlet and reading over it not wanting to interrupt the conversation she was having with the other abrasive girl but hoping this would let her know that she was interested in the cause. Hopefully she can show me the way. I don't really have a home to go back to anymore if this doesn't pan out.
