Background: Xion Shibuya was born in Gateon Port a seaside city in the northwestern part of the Orre region. He began his pokemon journey at the age of ten years old. With his new partner totodile bravely traveling all by himself. Xion experienced many things throughout his journey. Somethings that were good and some that were bad. All of which helped him mature into a strong pokemon trainer. He cherished all the good memories with the people and pokemon he met along the way. It wasn't before long that Xion had assembled a team of six pokemon of his own. In which each them established a strong bonds with him. During his trip to Golden Rod City, helped a man name Bill. Who had created a fast and easy PC box system to manage and store pokemon in. Xion had helped protect Bills work from being stolen by criminals known as Team Rocket. As a reward for his hard work and efforts Bill gave Xion a Evee. Xion who had a thing for dark type pokemon, asked Bll how he could obtain a Umbreon. The man informed him on how to obtain one. After Xion had parted ways with Bill he trained every night under the moonlight with his new evee. As for some reason the weather was always calm every time he trained under the full moon. Though he never understood exactly why, Xion continued to train. Until eventually the Evee became a Umbreon. The two went through thick and thin as Xion's journey continued. Umberon who eventually became his ultimate partner, possessed the strongest bond out of all the pokemon in his team. It respected Xion for always seeking the truth of the world. Whenever Xion was in trouble Umbreon would always come to his defense. Friend or foe no matter who it may be. Xion's Umbreon will not allow anyone to harm a single hair on his head. Xion is usually seen walking with Umbreon as it acts as his personal guardian.
At the of sixteen years old Xion had a encounter a lifetime when he met the legendary pokemon Rayquaza. Who was the leader of Hoenn's legendary trio which consistedof Groudon and Kyogre along wtih Rayquaza. Xion had been exploring the Hoenn region, and he had been told by the locals that Rayquaza sometimes rested at Sky Pillar. Xion had never seen a legendary pokemon before in his life. So he decided to pay Sky Pillar a visit. On the first day he visited Sky Pillar and accomplished making it to the top. Which seemed like it took hours to him to get here. Rayquaza was nowhere to be found. This angered Xion as the locals claimed to be one hundred percent sure. That Sky Pillar was one of Rayquaza's resting places. Though Xion didn't give up, and he tried a second time the next day. Still he had no luck, and he figured if Rayquaza didn't show up the third time he tied. He would just give up and give the locals a piece of his mind. The following day Xion tired one more time just as he had decided to do. He entered the chamber where Rayquaza slept in peace. The large yet extremely powerful dragon pokemon awoke from its slumber. As it had detected the presences of Xion and Umbreon. What Xion wasn't aware of was the fact that Rayquaza was a extremely territorial pokemon. Angered that Xion and Umbreon were trespassing in its territory. Rayquaza attacked without warning immediately engaging Xion and Umberon in the most fierce pokemon in their entire lives. Xion fought with all his might as his pokemon pushed themselves beyond their normal limits. It got to the point where everyone was badly injured.
But matter how many times Rayquaza knocked his team down, they returned to their feet. Never losing their fighting spirit or loosing their bonds with Xion. Rayquaza who had managed to inure Xion quite badly decided to inflict the final blow to end his life. Umbreon who looked like it had reached its limit. Along with Xions other pokemon. Came to Xions aid in at the last moment possessing a expression of the utmost determination. With a immensely strong will to protect its trainer. It was willing to sacrifice itself, so that Xion's life would be saved. The sheer determination Umbreon possessed struck fear in Rayquaza's heart. As it had not witnessed any other pokemon stand up to it the way Umberon had done. Rayquaza stopped about less than a inch away from Umbreon. It was so close that Umbreon could literately touch its snout. Xion managed to call back all his other pokemon to their respective pokeballs. Before he passed out from his injures and extreme exhaustion. Later that day he awake he lay in a grassy field, which was located in a remote area of Hoenn. Umbreon had been by his side the entire time, and so had Raquaza. The legendary dragon looked down upon Xion with such a calm demeanor. It lowed its head to Xion's level saying its goodbyes, and allowed Xion to pet it. Signifying it wanted to create a bond of friendship with Xion. However Rayquaza had also acknowledged Xion's guts to never give up. As well as the strength of his Pokemon, and their bonds to him. Before it took off and disappeared into the blue skies. Xion had realized that Rayquaza had flew him all the way from Sky Pillar, and dropped him off near a pokemon center. Which was part of a small town near by. Xion struggled to his feet and headed off towards the small town. He was able to get his injuries healed and his pokemon's injuries. Six months passed since his encounter with Rayquza and Xion had become forever changed. As he had learned what it truly meant to be a pokemon trainer. All his pokemon had made their bonds clearly known to him that fateful day. He had found a strength he never knew he had. The guts to never give up. Five years had passed and Xion had traveled to many regions. Such as Kanto, Johoto, Sinnoh,Hoenn, Unova, and many others. Challenging their champions and defeating them with his new found strength. Eventually Xion decided to take a break from his long journey. In which he later became Gateon Ports gym leader. He also became known as one of the strongest gym leaders in the Orre region.
