in a search for an image of the abandoned theme park in spirited away,
i came across information about okpo land.
it sounds like it was a very creepy place (and good for urban exploring) before they demolished it.
did anyone ever go? what are your feelings about it?

Oh I've heard of that place! They said there were too many accidental deaths so they closed it down right? I've never been there and they've demolished it now so I could never go. Well it couldve been interesting but I don't think I'm missing out far too much. sweatdrop

yeah. i'm not sure where the first girl died, but the second fell from the duck ride. the owner ran away that night, and didn't even have time to sell off the rides or anything. neither of the families ever got an apology, or money, or anything.
from the pictures i've seen, the duck ride from which the girl fell was still hanging over the edge, which is really scary.
the reports i've heard said that it was demolished and they're building apartments on the land.
i think it would of been cool to explore the ruins of it, but it's nothing that i'm going to miss.

Yeah it's so strange, the owner couldv'e atleast apologize for the unlucky events but he just raaaan away.
Haha, I live right next to a mediumsized amusement park and its half an amusement park, half a regular park so during wintertime the amusement park is closed but the normal park is open so when you walk through it, the rides and such are completely abandoned but then you come to the park part and its well...still abandoned since its in the middle of the winter. I had to go through there each day to get to school...But atleast no one had died there...
