Korra stayedd quiet for the rest of the trip as she tried to listen carefully for any danger. All the while she tracked where they were. As soon as they reached the lake that told her the colder area was up ahead she stopped "Let's camp here for the night, It will be night soon and it's not a good idea to proceed on the journey while it's night" she said

"You are right it is unwise to go on ahead", replied nadie turning her attention toward tokolo who seemed like he was going to fall off his feet,"Tokolo come over here to this small clearing and begin a fire", she commanded.
Tokolo looked up and nodded wearily he went over to the clearing and dropped the bags having carried them all day heading toward the forest he began to pick up sticks everywhere he seen them loping off into the forest, nadie looked at him concerned,"Perhaps one of us should go with him...", she frowned.

Korra sighed "I'll go" she said as she picked up her bow and walked with Trokolo "Hurry" she said tapping his shoulder as she began to search for firewod

Tokolo turned his head wearily slightly surprised to see korra there but said nothing he smiled slightly as he worked but that didn't mean his eyes were not going to droop any faster than they were, once he had carried as much as an arm full he looked around unsure where he was at and turned back toward korra with a confused and tired look on his face.

Kora carried her armful and walked towards the markings she made on the trees "Stay close" she said, guiding him back to the campsite.

Tokolo followed her without question like a puppy to his master and when they arrived back at camp nadie let out a sigh of relief,"Your back safely", she said happily, she nodded to tokolo who dropped his lot on the ground and then went over to the bed his cousin made for him,"Rest tokolo and I will wake you in a few hours", she answered with a smile.
Nadie then turned toward korra,"Meet any trouble while she where out?", she asked.

Korra shook her head "Nothing, but there was a rotting smell out there it might be due to the cold that animals are dying, we are at the border after all" she said as she took out some deer meat and cleaned it up getting it ready for the fire

Nadie nodded,"That won't be the only thing...", she replied looking around she sat closer to korra and whispered,"I know where being watched...", she replied not looking at the woods or anything she continued,"There is something out there wolves, bears, men? I dont know but whatever it is it means harm and we best keep watch tonight", she replied looking over at her cousin she sighed,"I suppose he can take the middle shift since he is getting his sleep in".

Korra nodded, not makeing any sudden movements "I'll take the first shift, I'm not tired" she whispered tighting her hold on her bow. She glanced through the fire towards Trokolo "I'll wake him when i'm ready to sleep" she whispered

"Tell him I'll take the shift after", she added silently, she then turned her gaze back toward the fire and asked normally,"What would you like to eat korra?", she smiled at her though she knew they where playing with the fire of enemies here and it wasn't going to be good,"Rabbit, Salmon, Vision perhaps?".

Korra smiled "Anything will do, so long as it will keep my strength up" she answered, glancing quickly at her surroundings just in case.

"Vision it is she smiled handing her some dried vision", she looked down at her work and began to make out some of the other things they had in their provision,"How about this fruit? it will be nice for once before we reach are destination wouldn't it?", nadie looked at korra with a smiled telling her not to worry it will be alright, she then turned toward her cousin,"Might as well wake him up soon it will be time to sleep eventually".

Korrra smiled "Yea, very soon. but let's let the child sleep a while longer, he's had a long day" she giggled quietly, but immediatly looked around when she noticed how loud that giggle truly was.
