What is the point of Life?
The Bright and Clear Sun shines, telling our day.
Let's go have fun my friend,
Off to the Darkness to play.
Since the light does not allow us time,
Off to the Darkness to play,
Let's enjoy our time.
Akira woke up from the bed she was and stretched, seeing Eiji just sleeping next to her, yes they slept on the same bed, and when she saw him there, Akira smiled, glad that she was able to spend another day with him even though that she knew one day she would have to be torn apart from him, a fate that she accepted after she found out she was a Shikibane Hime, a ticking timebomb with each dead Shikibane. At that moment that she stared, Eiji woke up as well, looking at her like he does every morning that they've started living together as she did the usual, standing up off the bed and letting her tough girl routine get back up and running as she looked back at him, her thin and delicate nightgown flowing behind her saying, "We have to get to work, you better not fall asleep again you dummy." as he smooth and shiny brown hair followed behind her as she started to walk in the kitchen part of the room to of course, cook for him since he was never the type to do the manual labor around the house. "Get in the shower first," she said as she walked up there, her tough girl routine doing what it was doing every morning, "I'll go cook as always." Eiji looked at her as he always did and smiled, seeing as though Akira was as shy as always, getting out of the bed and opening the curtains to a clear bright day as he didn't even bother to fix the bed and ran to the bathroom since he had to pee badly as well as take a shower after that.
Eiji came out of the bathroom after a long shower and smiled, smelling Akira's cooking which was bacon and eggs this time, a simple breakfast as he thought since Akira was always the fancy one to her. He walked to the kitchen wearing the usual, a suit with a red tie that matched his hair as he just finished cleaning his glasses. "My my," Eiji said teasingly as he sat down, admiring how his roommate looked in the nightgown, "this seems to be awfully simple for you Akira~" He loved to tease her like this to start off every morning since her replies would be so amusing to him as she turned around and gave him a glare as always with the reply, "It's better than nothing," as she threw the plate on the table with her perfect aim, "Now eat up, you need your strength." as she did every morning. The routine it seems as always today-----But this time, Akira sat down to watch him eat, giving Eiji the perfect oppurtunity to tease him, only to be interrupted. "Don't say a word," she said, looking at him with her kind and playful eyes, "I don't need to eat and I'm making sure you eat every bite." I guess that this was out of routine this time and this change made Eiji smile, seeing as though life was still as amusing as always with his best friend around.
After they were both finished with what people called, "Breakfast." Akira had gone in the shower as Eiji washed the dishes, a routine thing that he did every morning. He was already satisfied with the amusing thing that Akira let him have and smiled as he finished, drying his hands with a towel and throwing himself on the chair as he waited for his Shikibane Hime, a Corpse Princess, which he found too amusing to be called out for words. Eiji remembered the day that his favorite student turned into this thing and how he had to take responsibility for it as the only monk connected to this girl in a very deep level. He remembered all the screaming and all the crying that happened and how tied up she was which made Eiji grimace in a way that he hasn't in a long time as Akira came out of the bathroom, her hair in a ponytail----something else different, it seems as he stood up and went up to her. "You look so cute~" he said as he patted her head like a father would do to his child, "You should do that with your hair more often Akira-Hime." Eiji knelt down and kissed her hand as she said this, exaggerating the term, "Hime" as Akira hit his head hard and blushed saying, "Let's go, and don't ever say anything to me like that again." She rushed out the door quickly after this as Eiji followed, glad that there have been so many things out of their boring routine as they headed toward their office as the Second-In-Command of the Good Shoumetsu Sect.
