so as you look out the window today you see cars and trees along with building a people and maybe even a beach or a field but in their time i didnt see no dogs or people or anything at that all their was were the remains of all that stuff. what happened and if we've advanced to have space stations then why dont we fix the place were our species kick started?

Did you watch the Cowboy Bebop anime? If not, you might want to look it up.
Because of an astral gate accident, a huge chunk of the moon is gone, and the bits and pieces of it are falling to Earth daily and changing the topography of the world, which makes it hazardous to live in.
Plus, this thread's supposed to be in the OOC subforum, which I am now moving it to.

I've only seen 20 out of all 26 episodes, and from what I saw, plus the stuff about the anime I looked up on the internet, I've gotten a good understanding of the Bebop universe
It's good that you're watching the anime; it'll help give a general idea of what the Bebop universe is like. I did the same when I joined a Fairy Tail guild, and I had no idea what the anime was about.

Some people live in slum like broken down cities on Earth, but the severity of meteor shoerws and such are so severe and so common, (they are announced everyday along with the weather) that entire portions of the world are completely inhospitable. Maps of Earth change everyday because of how damaged the landscape is.
