It was strange to realize that these three actors were in their eighties when they died. Odd how television and movies fix the memory.

Don Knotts, Darren McGavin and Dennis Weaver all died this week. For those who don't recognize these names, Don played deputy Barney Fife on The Andy Griffith Show and landlord Mr. Furley on Three's Company. Darren played the first Kolchak in The Night Stalker series, as well as the father in A Christmas Story. Dennis played two more obscure rolls by todays standards. He was the deputy on Gunsmoke and played the lead in McCloud, another police series.

How weird that Don Knotts AND the guy from Three's Company who I always kept getting CONFUSED with Don Knotts both died.

Yeh, it's kinda weird they're both dead now. I wonder..... is there some sort of ancient zombie mummy evil voodoo curse upon Three's Company? gonk

Too true.

Add a fourth name to the list. Jack Wild, who played in the 60's movie version of Oliver! and the TV series HR Pufnstuf, died of cancer this week as well. I've seen videos of the TV show and it was pure mind ********. Many of the ideas for Pee Wee's Playhouse were ripped from this series and the shows that spun off of it.
