The Dome.
It's quite a large dome, hidden deep in the heart of a thick forest not too far from the marketplace thankfully. It's relatively easy to get to, but it's what's inside that is surprising. The forest surrounding the large white building is oh-so boring compared to the wonder inside, a wondrous almost rainforest like system contained in the white building. During the day, as the dome adjusts its shade and lighting according to the weather outside, the forest inside seems normal, a large lake situated just off-centre that trickled down into a stream with a bridge, soon ending in a koi pond by the tree-house.
But it's at night time that the dome comes 'alive.' Due to her species genetic trait, the forest glows vividly in all different colours that humans could barely imagine. The lake itself is what humans would call romantic in looks, the soft glowing flora pleasing to all senses. The biodome has it's own eco-system, small forest creatures live in her dome, as well as very edible fish living in the lake. All the animals in the dome are free to be hunted, as long as they are not hunted to the extreme. Bugs obviously live in the dome too, mainly colourful butterflies and bees that keep to themselves.
The most surprising thing about the dome is it's weather system. It rains when it rains outside the dome, it gets foggy if it's foggy out the dome. Whatever the weather is outside the dome, is mimicked inside the dome, although it tends to be slightly cooler and often gets misty randomly, much like a tropical rainforest. Minus the sticky humidity of course, Evelaril prefers the vents that create a gentle and cooling breeze every so often.

The Home.
A large tree house sits atop an old oak tree, the strong branches of the large old tree supporting the seemingly luxurious house with ease. The house only seems large because it's so open, the interior open plan and very cosy. The house was designed with all the windows facing the side of the dome where the sun rises, the sunlight filtering through the dome to hit the house with a lovely glow.

The Features.
First Level.
open plan kitchen
open plan living room
open plan front view
open plan back view
open plan kitchen view
first floor bathroom

Second Level
lounge room
second floor (main) bathroom
outdoor/patio area
Master and Slave bedrooms
The Master and Slave bedrooms are slightly separate from the main house, a lovely deck area perfect for relaxing is the divider from the outdoor area and the bedrooms. The bedrooms are all next to one another, with Evelaril's being closest to the steps to lead down to the first level balcony. All bedrooms come with curtains to cover the glass doors and windows, and one should always knock before entering. The Mistress doesn't mind being disturbed, unless it's for pointless reasons.

Welcome to your new home. Enjoy <3

| Area: Black Taxi | Mood: Hostile | With: Eve |

xxxxx Sorin would glare at the woman as she backed off rather quickly, she mentioned not touching him and didn't expect him to trust her all to much, she was quite smart, either that or she had enough common sense to not touch a vicious and dangerous animal. Huffing softly as he felt the engravings burned into his back, his scales fluctuated slightly as they shifted to hide the marred skin, it was an eternal mark he could cover up with his transformations, but it was always still there. Those with exceptional sight could see past the 'make up' though it was only visible out of the corner of ones eye. He felt weak and tired still as he leaned against the side of his previous cage, the large shackles that had held him down previously clicked open and seemed to vanish into the floor, sliding down with a mechanical whir. When she turned and gestured to him, he let out a huff and grabbed his shoulder, unable to touch his own back this was the best he could do, he'd blink a couple of times, his eyes scanning about as the many colors changed. That was right he saw colors human's could not, shifting and changing all over, the vibrancy would change as his dragonic eyes shifted into a dimmer color that softened his sight, making it easier on his eyes. Senses were still heightened as his attention snapped to the woman, she explained her reasoning and he'd stare at her, straight faced, he didn't know what to think of her at this point. What was the purpose of buying him? Nothing on this planet would freely say that to something with no choice in their lives, yet here was something completely out of the ordinary. She was definitely not a human nor had she developed any human like desires like most of these beings, it was odd and interesting, he'd huff as the female made her way out of the slave shop. The dark haired male looked to see the salesman from earlier as he made one of those beheading like motions towards Soin. He snarled, the sound itself was still fierce despite his human form, it was almost like he was still a dragon. He'd move a bit slower struggling to absorb strength as he made his way outside, arms by his sides as the burning and itching feeling in his back continued, he'd ignore it as much as possible but it was agitating him.

Glancing up at the brillant blue sky, the feeling of moisture touched his 'skin' and would make him feel refreshed, despite his clothed appearance, in all actuality he was technically naked. Though no one would consider an animal naked considering they had scales and such it might as well have been him naked, his eyes shimmered in unwordly colors for a moments as his body would adjust to keep him more comfortable. His organs would have a slight chemical change as they would work a bit faster and allow him to take in more oxygen then needed at a time, the change itself wouldn't be noticeable. The quick movement of the woman however caught his eye and he would snap to attention to glare at her as she asked if he needed anything, he'd raise an eyebrow at her as he scanned her over in caution, "I am fine." he'd say simply trying to use as few words possible, he didn't want to seem sociable. Sorin would look at the large machine before him looking rather concerned with it, even on his outtings he had stayed away from anything that made too much noise, he could already smell the noxious gas fumes that emitted from the vehicle and made him feel nauseated but he would slip into the vehicle looking weary as he glanced straight at the woman looking rather hostile still. He'd be silent through out the car ride, he'd stare out the window, his eyes looking more sightless then anything, it practically seemed like he was blind. Images of sakura, and the large mountain in Japan crossed his gaze, then ever green fields with grass and spots of flowers, the sight of clouds passing by him and the feeling of them against his form, he'd feel weightless againstt the white fluff that seemed to welcoming, he missed those feelings more then anything. Sorin would glance up though as he noticed a large dome, bright white and looking like an anomaly, he's eyes narrowed at it and then at her, he was unsure of what the dome was but from what he could see it seemed like someplace to experiment on larger animals, he wasn't trusting of it at all. Eyes trained on the pink, purple, magenta haired woman, "Are you a scientist?" he'd question in a cold tone. Her answer would definitely decide whether he would run the second they would exit the car or stay to figure out what this place was.

Eve was beginning to wonder if this whole thing had been a bad idea. Her instincts were telling her that getting Sorin was probably going to leave her in a worse situation than before, but yet, it was another set of instincts that were telling her she did the right thing. Getting the dragon out the slave shops was the right thing to do. Evelaril hadn't intended on getting a companion - not a slave - that was possibly dangerous, but something had made her get the man. A part of her deep inside wished that eventually, they'd form some sort of odd friendship; nothing more than enjoying civilised conversation at meals, then going about whatever they wished to do on their own. Her intentions hadn't been to get a companion for sexual gratification, or to force someone to cook and clean for her, but to simply break the silence in her home. She didn't need the sound of constant chatter the break that silence; just the presence of another living being was "loud" enough for her. Just like she'd expected, Sorin had been silent the whole trip back to the forest, just looking out the window. She'd taken a few glances at the dragon, and he seemed deep in though, and there was no chance Eve was going to disturb him. Yet, once her home came into sight, she felt his gaze fall upon her, and she turned to him, noting a rather untrusting gaze on his face. Her own eyes narrowed, her primal instincts beginning to rise. Exhaling loudly through her nostrils at being asked if she was a scientist, she just looked out the window, counting to five before speaking. "Not scientist. They horrible, terrible people. Always experimenting on things. Cruel, horrible people." Hissing slightly at the thought of even being compared to one, the taxi came to a stop, but Evelaril didn't move, she just looked at Sorin with a gaze somewhere between mild outrage, and slight sadness. She'd displayed no ill-will towards him, yet he obviously didn't trust her. Could she blame him? He'd been treated like s**t, and obviously didn't trust anyone at all.

"This simply is home. To me." The last part was added on quickly, just in case Sorin thought she was calling the dome his home as well. "Not big lab, no experiments." Turning to the dome, the ring of thick trees making it impossible for vehicles to get close framed the white structure quite nicely, and the smallest hint of a homesick smile crossed her face. "I show you now. You see with own eyes. No lab. Just plants." Letting herself out the taxi first, she assumed that Sorin would follow out of curiosity, her floating blue dress fluttering around her ankles. She'd slipped the cab driver more than enough for the trip back and forth, and didn't look back. If Sorin was going to run it was his own risk; the collar and charms around his neck were a large giveaway, and the collars were obviously made to stay on, or else many of the stronger slaves would have broken it by this point. Walking through the thick line of trees, her blue dress and bright hair stood out easily, meaning Sorin would be able to follow her without issue. A doorway was soon obvious, and Evelaril waited for a moment before punching in the keycode. A sliding door opened with a slight hiss of escaping air, and a small conservatory like room was waiting for them just inside the white ring of the dome. This was simply a waiting room, a place where guests got a warning about what the dome was like inside. Currently, the weather was exactly how it was outside; warm, with a comfortable amount of moisture in the air. Walking to the last set of doors, one could see the forest beyond. It looked normal currently, since the dome was replicating the sunny weather outside, the late afternoon sun giving the place a pleasant glow. Except all the plants in the shade glowed, each plant a different colour between the spectrum shades of blue, aqua, pink and purple. Placing her hands on the glass doors, she leaned towards them, waiting to hear the sound of the first doors shutting once Sorin entered. "This is my home. Welcome." Was all she said before opened the second set of doors, a slight smile coming to the aliens face, the woman clearly happy to be at home. Stepping out into the forest, the smell was fresher than outside, and quite a lot cleaner. Taking in a deep breath, she spread her arms out happily. A couple of reptiles scurried away to hide from the larger creatures in the dome, and Eve spun on her heel to look at Sorin. "House is further in. Come, I show you. Then you do what you want. Rabbits and fish are fine to hunt, no problem there. They sustainable. No hunt deer though, they keep weeds down." Walking off down a slightly worn dirt track, she looked up to the almost invisible roof of the dome. "Dome matches outside weather. Used technology from place I came from. Much better than what humans do. Cleaner, safer. Animals enter and go without problem. Dome likes animal life. When rains outside, rain falls here. Has all seasons too. But is mostly humid, nice humid. Not sticky humid. Lovely rainforest environment." It was clear that being in the rainforest home of hers was making Evelaril much happier than being out in the realm of humans. Within moments a wooden tree house was coming into view, a large place that was surprisingly roomy. She'd show Sorin around obviously, then after a quick question and a notice, she'd allow him to distance himself from her, to go roam the dome if he wished.

| Area: Inside the Dome | Mood: Cautious | With: Eve |

xxxxx Sorin was watching Eve with careful caution, he was a 'trapped animal' after all, not like he had much of a choice in what he wanted to do at this point. It aggravated him oh so much to know he couldn't choose to do as he pleased anymore just because of a god forsaken collar and the seals taking up the whole of his back. Even if he did run he would not get far, knowing how people were now a days, run away slaves could be grabbed and sold back for big money most likely, and he would end up in the same situation once again. He looked a bit calmer then before as she seemed a bit agitated with him, he wouldn't falter against the 'nasty' look she was giving him, she'd exhale quickly though before she would speak to him directly. Looking a bit less tense as she said she wasn't a scientist, speaking in her broken sentences still, she didn't seem to have the greatest intelligence, if she spoke like that she was most likely no better at writing. They'd sit in the car and he would stare unblinking at her, he had transparent lids that didn't even move but still blinked for him, they were designed for swimming underwater, a hunting adaptation that most dragons developed on the islands scattered in the bermuda triangle. Eve would speak again as she mentioned that this was home- to her, he'd look slightly amused at the sudden addition to her sentence, she obviously learned fast, though her English was a bit touchy. She would continue to explain that it was not a big lab nor were there any experiments and then she looked to the large dome rather longingly then quickly explained that she would show him, he'd be careful to move making sure not to touch her. No trust in her at all, no matter how kind she seemed. Humans were deceiving so is any other animal that thrives on survival, that made her no different, nor himself. If she had intelligence she wouldn't turn her back on him so easily, but if she had more then needed, well she was being quite cocky.

He slid out of the car after her the sick sense he felt finally eased as the car turned and left quickly, as she moved towards the dome he followed, looking around carefully through the trees, the fresh sharp scents assaulted his nose and made him feel a bit better. The metallic like taste in the air ripped across his tongue though, it wasn't human, and it tasted funny to him, it wasn't that he pressed his tongue to anything, he had a very heightened sense around certain objects especially rare metals and ores, like the sapphires, rubies and emeralds that were buried deep in geode's. He'd snuff as he tried to make the smell and taste go away, as they entered he would look around carefully, searching for signs of others or a possible ambush to hold him down. He smelled, nor sensed anyone else and his muscles loosened as he glanced around suspiciously. Sorin would notice Eve moving further into the area and was looking around with a more then just pleasant mood, he would huff and continue to keep a distance. Though he was immediately distracted by the smells of the forest around him, it smelled and felt great in here, a soft sigh came from him as he looked around, obviously fascinated, his eye would snap to her as he looked more shocked about the area then anything else. He'd stare at her as she spoke explaining that the house was further in and that he could hunt fish and rabbits but not deer, he'd stare at her for the longest time. He'd nod slowly, it was strange to him, all of this smelled off but at the same time smelled very familiar it bothered him quite a bit, the tinge of an alien like smell. He'd grimace as he would keep his distance from her, not as hostile but very withdrawn, he still didn't trust her, "An environment that excludes nothing..." he'd mumble quietly staring up at the roof of the dome, he'd follow her to the house and look at it curiously, "How do you keep this large place..... habitable? The house would rot from the moisture..." he'd mumble quietly, curiosity was clear with him, but his body language still showed distrust, he was still looking every where and still looked quite jumpy, not tensed to fight anymore, he still didn't want to get to comfortable. Who knows, maybe this large place had a lab hidden somewhere. His eyes couldn't take notice of the glowing plants at the moment, he had adjusted his sight quite a bit to not see intense colors due to the glare he would experience- much like a camera.

▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀

Thinking about it, waiting for Sorin to walk into the dome, Evelaril realised that turning her back to Sorin was quite a stupid move. It left her open for him to attack her if he so wished, and it also made her appear cocky and sure of herself. He was a being that lived off his survival instincts, and so was she, and she wouldn't have expected him to turn his back on her, if the roles were reversed. Shaking her head inwardly, she knew she wouldn't make the same mistake again: she'd either walk along side Sorin or keep checking her back if he was behind her and they were in a position where he could attack. The woman didn't want to think that way, but he was obviously very aggravated at being in this situation, and she hoped he would calm down somewhat later on. Yet, even with his hostility, he seemed to be - hopefully - somewhat interested in her home, considering he did stare at her quite a bit. Eve was even sure at some point that he mumbled something along the lines of the environment in the dome, but she didn't quite catch it. She did however catch his question about her home once they reached it, and she turned on her heel to look at him. Although the question was curious enough, he still showed signs of distrust towards her. At least he was asking a decent question though. "Wood treated, organic coating preventing rot. Weather little bit drier in summer, dries wood out. Everything treated with organic coating. House has low power system inside. Recycles air to keep interior dry. Not too dry, otherwise not comfortable." Motioning to Sorin to follow her inside, she opened the door and stepped into a home that was very different to what one might expect. Stepping straight into a stairwell, they walked up the stairs and came out in the living room, where it was clear to see that it was a very open plan house. The whole bottom floor seemed to all mix together in a way that was very flowing and uncluttered, the bathroom the only enclosed area of the first floor. It was self explanatory really, so Eve didn't really need to show him around. Heading towards the other set of stairs to get to the second story, she turned around to face Sorin. "Sorry for poor speaking skills. Never taught to speak human English. Can read and write, but not speak. Words are hard to form, too used to native language." Turning to head up the stairs, she stopped with her foot on the first step, fingers tapping the banister. "People assume because I not speak properly, I am not smart. They wrong. Just because I different, does not mean I stupid. Practise makes perfect, yes?" And with a hopeful half-smile, she ascended the stairs to the upper floor.

Again, the open plan of the house made the upper level openly obvious, since there was only the lounge room and the master bathroom, the lower floor visible from the lounge area, with a fantastic view out the almost two story high glass windows. It was once she led Sorin out to the deck that she finally spoke again. "Bedrooms are here. Mine is obvious, it's next to the stairs, purple curtains." And indeed, there was a room right next to the stairs with dark purple curtains hanging from it. They were almost black in colour, but they still had enough of a purple hue to be far from black. "Two spare rooms are there. Take choice, either middle room or right side." Waiting to hear his answer, she would assume he'd take the one on the right to leave space between himself and Eve, she went to walk back inside but stopped herself. "When sun goes down, dinner time. Do you eat meat? I will cook what you want. You are not servant, do not expect you to cook. You are free to cook for yourself, if wished." Walking into the patio area, she placed a hand and looked around one of the natural trunks of the tree the house was built around, a smile on her face. "Go explore if you wish. Or have shower, or bath. Do not expect you to follow me around. You here to live, not serve. I will see you at dinner, Sorin." Just like she said before, the more she spoke, the better her language seemed to get. With one more hopeful grin, she left, heading back inside to sit down on the couches in the living room, picking up a novel on her way down. It was just a fiction book she'd found when she'd first arrived to Earth, and she really liked it. Pride and Prejudice, a book she soon learned - with some research - that was written many years ago, the English being used quite enjoyable to read. Evelaril didn't mind what Sorin did, as long it didn't involve wrecking her house or dome. She took quite a bit of pride in that. Later, as it got darker, she'd prepare the shipment of plants she was sending out the next day; a large plant company had bought quite a number of her special glowing plants, and had provided the pots for them to be planted in at her request. She didn't expect Sorin to help her out with this either; it was her home-run business, and he wasn't bought to be a Slave. If he was curious, she'd tell him what was going on and let him watch if he wished.

| Area: Inside the Dome | Mood: Cautious | With: Eve |

xxxxx Sorin stopped mid step when Eve turned on him, his eyes narrowed in suspicion as he remained convinced of masters, humans and anything living besides animals was out to do something to him. It was a smart way to live, maybe not as personally fulfilling, but definitely much safer. As she would speak he'd stare her down obviously distrusting still as she explained, his tough exterior relaxed a bit as she explained, "Makes sense." he'd agree in a slightly tight voice. When she gestured for him to come inside he looked around carefully as if searching for some form of trap to grab him, cautious and distrusting as usual, no one could honestly blame him after what he had been through. He looked up at the stairwell and followed a few steps behind Evelaril as she moved along, he'd come upon a large open area, a lounging styled area, designed for family times and lazing about. He believed they called them living rooms, and this one was spacious and welcoming, it made him feel a bit calmer and less agitated, the atmosphere was hard to ignore. Sorin would be exploring a little straying a little ways from Eve, but never getting to far ahead of her, checking behind himself the entire time as he looked curious, he found this type of thing strange. Never having lived in a home or anything of the sort, this was all new to him, after all he lived in the environment alone this entire time. Surviving off of small animals and fish, sleeping deep underwater where others couldn't find him, normally camouflaged or having shapeshifted into something unnoticeable. He has yet to experience a lot of the things that human's have done and or created, it would be an interesting experience.

When Eve started to speak he'd only half way turn to her, still looking slightly curious about everything, he didn't get the chance to appreciate the slave shop much, too busy with the fact he was trapped and caged. As she spoke about having terrible speaking patterns and that she was bilingual, that made a lot more sense. As she mentioned practice makes perfect he remembered when he was first mastering the modern languages of this time, he could speak most fluently after hundreds of years of learning from his still living family. He'd watch her move up to the upper floor and would follow after her with curiosity, when he was led to the deck he stared at the gazeebo like homes and tilted his head in question. When she indicated her room he looked to the other two and immediately chose the furthest one, not like he trusted her much at all to sleep close. He would look up to her when she mentioned dinner to him and then would slowly nod, "I'll eat anything. I haven't eaten since I got captured." he'd mumble to her quietly, revealing a rather unhindering weakness to her out of necessity. She'd urge him to do as he pleased instead of acting like a slave, he'd nod slowly and felt more tired then anything, having yet to have slept since his own capture he felt horribly weak but hadn't slept in case the slave traders took anything from him, his scales did grow back after all but were great for armor...being virtually unbreakable after all. They could be pulled from his skin still. When she turned to leave he'd just inch over to the bedroom he claimed and would continue to watch where she had went to. Sorin felt a bit safer and slipped into the bedroom looking around curiously, he'd crawl onto the bed in question feeling the softness and would immediately feel achey. He'd falls haphazardly onto the bed enjoying the comfortable feeling, he'd blush in embarrassment due to the sudden weakness he felt. He'd close his eyes and curl up much like a child and practically passed out on the spot, he'd most likely wake later on feeling better, but distrust and confusion didn't pass by over a nap.

▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀

It seemed that Sorin was indeed curious about her home, because he didn't stick too close to her upon setting foot inside. Had he actually lived in a house before? Or had he been free to roam and live out in nature where he wanted? Thinking of this even while explaining her strange speaking ways, she found herself hoping that everything made sense now, that he wouldn't think she was just some stupid Alien that didn't know how to speak. It hadn't surprised her either that he'd picked the furthest room from her own, but he had surprised her with his statement. He'd admitted that he hadn't eaten since being captured, and it was that fact that was leaving the Alien restless while trying to relax. It just wasn't right, leaving a living creature to starve in your care. With a grumble, Eve got up off the couch and checked the time. Mid-afternoon, about 3pm. She could easily put a small chicken on to roast for it to be ready by nightfall! Happy with her idea for dinner, Evelaril made her way upstairs to her room to get changed out of the nice dress she'd worn to the markets, only to find the door of the room Sorin had chosen to be slightly ajar. Chewing her bottom lip as she crept towards the room, she saw him passed out on the bed, asleep. A slightly happy smile came to her lips as she shut the door quietly, slipping into her own room. Changing out of the dress into a new outfit, she pulled her hair up into a bun, a lazy braid trailing up from the nape of her neck, the ends fastened up inside the bun. A blue bow hairclip fastened the loose strands down, and she felt much more comfortable. The baggy pants really were fantastic to lounge around the house it, and although she'd never easily admit it, the slippers were the smallest give-away that Eve did have a soft spot deep down. But she'd only ever admit she bought the slippers for the comfort factor, and not for the cute cat faces on them. Heading back inside, keeping her footsteps silent as she crossed the deck and walked through the patio area, the woman went straight for the kitchen. It was time to get started on dinner, something she found a small sense of joy in. Cooking was something the females back on her home planet were taught as soon as they could reach the kitchen countertops, and it was admittedly the only thing Eve liked about her species. Sure, looking back on Earth history, it seemed that the females that stayed at home and cooked were part of an old-fashioned sort of group, a group that soon turned around so that the women worked alongside the men.

By the time it hit 4pm the chicken was roasting in the oven, and the vegetables were ready to go in with the last half hour of cooking. House work would kill some time till then, so Eve began to just potter around her house. It was clean anyway, so there wasn't much she could do. Pulling out her laptop, she began to search some online shops to seek out things that Sorin might eventually want. Tabs were left open with more oriental style bedsheets in colours more befitting a male, along with paintings that were all of Asian scenery - cherry blossoms and such - that were very calming. Looking at her current open tab, a bunch of male bathroom products, Eve decided that it was time to get the vegetables on or else they wouldn't cook in time. With half an hour left before dinner would be ready, the light in the dome turning into the glorious colours of a sunset, the woman headed for her laundry area and began to sort out washing; she'd put it on in the morning so it could hang out to dry all day. Once dinner was finished, she'd go tend to the plants she had to ship out tomorrow morning first thing. The closet it got to the sun fading away, the more Evelaril began to wonder if she should go wake up Sorin. Would he appreciate being woken up? Chewing the inside of her cheek, she decided he probably would't like it much, especially since it would be his first night here. Surely he'd wake up on his own at some point, and his dinner would be waiting for him. There was a decent amount of food, enough for three to four people actually, so if he was really hungry he could eat as much as he wanted. Checking her fridge, a sudden thought coming to her, she pulled out some fruits such as watermelon, grapes, strawberries, mango and cantaloupe. It only took a matter of minutes, but a large bowl of fruit salad was made, Eve preferring fruits in favour of sweet cakes and the like for dessert. Of course, thick cream would be served with the salad if one wanted it, but it would be left until after dinner. Cling wrap covered the bowl of fruit as it was put back into the fridge, and plates and cutlery replaced the spot where the bowl had been on the countertop. In the last few minutes, a bowl of fresh vegetables was put into a microwave safe container with a drizzle of water - just some broccoli and cauliflower florets - and they were zapped for 3 minutes. There were potatoes, carrots and parsnips in the roasting tray in the oven, and a small salad of crunchy lettuce, rocket, cherry tomatoes and cucumber was made up quickly. Turning off her oven, the chicken was pulled out first, being set on a carving tray to rest before she carved it. The roast vegies were poured into a serving bowl with the steamed ones, and placed next to the salad bowl. Chicken carved up, Eve had helped herself to the meat, mixed vegetables and some salad. Proud of herself for giving Sorin a large amount of options for food, the woman seated herself on a couch instead of the table. Living alone had left her with some bad habits, and eating on the couch instead of the table was one. Plus, it was less formal anyway, a much more comfortable scenario in her eyes.

| Area: Inside the Dome | Mood: Groggy | With: Eve |

xxxxx Sorin had become very comfortable on the bed, it was the first time he had ever used one really, the comfort that supported his body was phenomenal to him. It couldn't even be compared to the ground- unless it was deep underwater in the sandy beds under the ocean. Those were completely fluid if you weren't sleeping with stone fish and such, he had fallen into a deep sleep as he normally did, he had learn to do this due to the fact he had crabs and such crawl over him as well as squids and octopuses clinging to him while he was sleeping. Dreams started to pass through his mind, well closer to memories rather then dreams. He was back home, staring out at the large vast ocean in its parade of grays and dark blues, it was a rather bleak morning, but he was happy for it. The reason was because there was a new rain drawing closer and that meant dark clouds charged with lightning, something he and all the others rather enjoyed when they came. Super charges of energy and playing a game of 'tag' with one another by passing off lightning after one dragon was struck, the thought of this made his claws dig into the earth. The best thing about these games was that the last to get tagged after the lightning surges ended would have to allow prizes to everyone else from their treasure trove. He always loved devouring sapphires and opals, they were the sky and oceans gems, he knew his mother loved rubies as well and he might get her a few from his own trove later. The dragons all loved their different stones and always discovered them and brought them back to the nests back here on the island. The island itself was littered with giant holes that led deep down into the ocean and under it as well, tunnels intertwining and leading all over, the holes could be similar to craters. They were there when the dragons originally settled they had been dug deeper later on though, he had his own trove that was buried deep within the earth. It was probably still there even now, delicious gems aged to perfection due to how they were preserved, his mind continued to wander to other places. The games of lightning tag, eating gemstones and precious ores together, it was all very enjoyable to him, then his mother's form came into sight. All dragons were different, his mother was a winged dragon, designed for staying in the sky and nesting in high places, though she had chosen his now disappeared father to be with. Which resulted in his odd genes, his mothers bright red scales and burning eyes, the scattered lighter pink hues and silvery talons, the most luxurious thing about her were the long branch like golden horns that sat atop her head, he had her scale patterns, her horns and her talons, the most different features about him, everything else had come from his father's genes. In all honesty Sorin never met his father before, he had heard tales about him from his mother and the elders, he was great dragon apparently and had done some amazing feats, he was supposed to become an elder.

The strange smells of food slowly graced his nose, he'd snuff in annoyance and bury his face deeper into the pillows, trying to make the smell go away but it woke him anyways. He'd sit up looking groggy and confused, questioning where his home was and what was going on, he'd blink as his memories slowly returned, that was right. The woman and the dome and such, he'd grimace and scoot off the bed, opening the door to the room he had chosen and poked his head out. He didn't look disgruntled at all, though with the way he slept when Eve had checked in on him he should of had bed head and his clothes wrinkled, but everything looked perfectly fit and nice. He'd look around for a moment breathing in softly as more food graced his nose, vegetation, meat, fruit, he was familiar with all the smells, but this was different. It smelled off, it wasn't like it didn't smell even more appetizing but it was definitely different then normal, he'd slip in to the area and descend the stairs, noticing Eve in a more relaxed clothing form, he'd keep his back to the walls as he watched her. Moving along the walls rather carefully he'd take note of what she had on her plate, she had just started from the looks of it and he took a little comfort in knowing that she wouldn't poison food that she was sharing in. He'd slip into the kitchen and glance about staring at the food set out, he'd breath in again, he never ate cooked meat or anything or that of the like. Sorin had taken a more animalistic approach to living having chosen to stay out of human society for everything other then books, he was only there as a collector for historic items in order to store knowledge for dragons, keeping records so to speak. Thinking about what he could remember of human etiquette in dining situations he located a plate and filled it up with what he wanted, he only put small portions at first deciding to try the food out before he would devour it. Finding nothing wrong with the food as he started chewing he would slowly consume his fill, he didn't pig out- like he seriously wanted to, if he did he would be to distracted from the woman in the other room and he didn't want to let his guard down much. He didn't get any bigger in physique, he only got stronger, he'd let out a relieved breath as most of the food was cleaned off half of a serving left of each thing- save for the vegetables was left. He liked the new taste of vegetables and such, it was different for him, he'd let out a soft yawn as he felt tired again, he glanced out the window in question to see what time of day it was, it was only sunset, not even deep into the throes of night. Sorin still felt quite tired, he wasn't paying attention for a few moments, weighing whether or not he should explore the forest like area or crawl back into bed for more rest. He had only been released a little awhile ago and now he was being treated in a more civilized way. Curiosity or necessity?

Curled up in her corner of the couch, plate resting on the arm of the seat, Evelaril quietly began to eat her dinner, choosing to look outside rather than turning on the television. Birds making their way back to their nests dotted the "sky" of the dome, while the shades that made up a sunset began to take over. Golds, pinks, lilacs and other lovely colours began to filter into the open room, the white walls almost drinking in the colour change. Who needed some electronic noise box flashing images of a stupid world when nature provided such amazing sights? The woman was quite absorbed in her view that she almost missed the footsteps that alerted her to Sorin's presence. Turning her head only slightly, a soft "Hey" was all she said, leaving him alone to pick out his own dinner items while she slowly consumed hers. It had taken her a while to get the hang of cooking chicken; the first few times it had come out either slightly raw, or practically charcoal. Proud of herself that she could at least cook a meal that was edible these days, she looked out the corners of her eyes every so often to see how Sorin was getting on. He really was quite a caution being, rather untrusting of everyone it seemed. Looking to the few bits of chicken she was saving until last - most of the vegetables and salad gone - she thought back to when she first arrived on Earth. She'd been scared too, and hadn't trusted a soul for decades. Evelaril knew very well she wouldn't suddenly turn to Sorin and go "oh I know exactly how you feel" when she didn't. She wasn't taken from a land she knew and thrown into some demeaning role, being forced to serve people you probably didn't like. Prodding at a potato quarter, that last part made her worry. Would it be possible for the dragon to even tolerate her at some point? She'd never force the idea of friendship onto the creature, as much as she so dearly wanted someone to call friend, it was up to him if he chose to accept her as a friend. Pushing the thoughts aside to finish off her meal, the woman slowly rose from her spot on the couch to head back into the kitchen to wash up her plate. There was maybe enough leftovers for a very hungry person, but before she began to pull out containers to store them in, she looked to where Sorin sat, a pondering look on his face. Risking it all, she looked to him and smiled slightly, her voice quite clear in the quiet of her house. "If still tired, welcome to sleep longer. I have work to do, potting plants, so Sorin can sleep if needbe. Or roam forest. All good. I sleep couple hours after dark, all lights inside get turned off, but not staircase light. Dangerous in dark. Outside lights stay on for safety too."

Was all that information pointless? She hoped not, since it sounded logical in her head. Keeping the light on for the stairs was something she had picked up quite early on living in the house. Especially after two nights of nearly breaking her neck and falling down the stairs. The outside lights were quite dim, but they still made it easy for people to navigate the decks and stairs, making things much safer. Running a sink to do her dishes after quickly putting the chicken, salad and vegetables into three separate containers, she dumped the cutlery in to soak for a few moments while food was stored in the fridge. If Sorin so chose to take that moment to add his dishes to the sink while she wasn't near, then she'd wash them along with the others, otherwise he'd have to do them himself. Regardless, ten minutes later and Eve was exiting her house, heading out the side doors that joined the first floor to a small balcony. Wooden steps lead down to an area under the house in the tree where a greenhouse shrouded in black shadecloth sat. Her seedlings for her 'night light plants' resided there, and she just had to make sure she had enough for her order being picked up in the morning. Thirty plants were needed, and she had thirty-five ready for potential accidents between now and morning. Half the plants had been potted in the morning before she went to the shop, and she only had a few left to do, taking barely any time at all. Yet, by the time she'd finished, it was practically dark and the phosphorous plants all around the dome were glowing their different colours. Shades of bright greens, pinks, purples and many other colours gently glowed in the dark, the effect giving the forest floor a subtle rainbow sheen. It wasn't offending to the eyes, nor very bright, but it was definitely a sight that Evelaril liked a lot. Heading back inside, ducking into the first floor bathroom to wash her hands, she made her way upstairs to the patio area. Pouring herself a glass of apple and blackcurrant juice, she leaned against the balcony and looked out to her forest. Everything that glowed, she had created. Well, helped create, her bio-luminescent genes giving the plants the phosphorescent glow they'd taken on. Taking a drink of the juice, the woman had no idea if Sorin had gone back to bed, or was out wandering the forest. Evelaril wanted to ask the male so many questions to find out more about him, but she didn't want to sound stupid or bombard the male. What she really wanted to know was if the Slaver had told the truth about the whole touching her hand to his forehead forced him to change. Could he revert to his dragon form on his own? It would be nice if he could, otherwise she'd find out if she could change that so he could change on his own. It felt so unfair to her that he should be denied his true form. She'd hate it if someone made it so she couldn't create plants or help them grow, it just wouldn't be natural to her.
