A simple enough room, consisting of a few couches and chairs for those waiting to meet with the kazekage, and any other important people on the top floor of the Kazekage tower. The most popular feature of the room, at least for foreign visitors, is the large water cooler on one wall. A simple enough furnishing in most villages, but a luxury in Suna, where water is a commodity as much as gold and iron, and cold water even more so.

Tired Sora was tired and (as usual) she acted like a kid about it for the most part. Now that she had said her bit, Sora didn't feel like saying much more. Although, she did realize, With some difficulty, the girl forcefully extricated herself from the cooler and instead sat on the floor besides it. She took notice of how wet her hoodie and long-sleeved shirt below it had become from the condensation on the water cooler and commented with a weak, "Uh-oh," as her thoughts finished, Trying to cool herself off, the girl flapped the collar of her shirt with one hand to generate a personal breeze.
Through all this, Kensei and Laxus were talking their lines. Sora would have said something about Kensei's probing and how it wasn't needed (she trusted Laxus and felt that if he had secrets he wanted to keep, he should be able to keep them) if she hadn't been busy trying to cool off. In fact, all she did to respond was nod when Kensei and Laxus seemed to call a truce between themselves. At least, she hoped that's what it was. Really, it would have been better in Sora's opinion if the two apologized to each other, but she figured that it was good that they at least understood. the girl reasoned an excuse for herself to not say anything for the moment as she stuck out her tongue to help cool off her body. The tongue didn't stay out for long, though. It quickly became quite dry and had to be withdrawn back into the mouth.

"I'm an Uchiha." Kensei simply said while pointing at the crest on his shirt. His hair was still blocking his eyes, so kensei couldn't really see anything. He just took out his kunai and began playing five finger fillet by himself until he was called to go in. "We were here first and we go second. Stupid coinc toss." Kensei mumbled to himself when he watched the birds fly outside the window.

" An uchiha... like with those eyes? What is the benefit of having those eyes? " Laxus asked. He'd only heard that the uchiha clan had a dojutsu, nothing more beyond that. " You're the one that chose tails. " Laxus said laughing he shook his head as Kensei started to play five finger fillet. " I could easily make that game a tad bit more fun. " Laxus said smiling as he took out his own kunai and began rotating it in the air.

Kensei stopped and glared at Laxus. "Well these eye's can almost copy every jutsu I see." Kensei began to explain. "Some member's of my clan have unlocked a next stage called the Mangekyo sharingan. I haven't unlocked mine yet, but I heard that there's a huge risk to having such a great power. Then there's the Eternal Mangekyo sharingan....I really don't want to talk about that one."

" Seems like a hassle. " Laxus said sighing. Kensei was unfriendly now. That potentially made him no longer an ally any more so than a civilian from Kumogakure. He sighed bringing the kunai back to his hand where he put it back into his pouch. ' Sora will most likely become cold toward me as well. I might not want to press the matter anymore. ' Laxus thought, his mind slowly splitting the pros and cons of aiming for the Raikage spot in the next decade or so. ' A lot could change, but I'm not sure. Guy can copy nearly any technique, so if I used anything against him, he could very well turn around and use it against me. ' Laxus thought sighing. ' Then there is Sora. She doesn't seem like she is that strong, but then again I shouldn't judge. The Kazekage doesn't look much older than Sora, if even as old as her, so that could mean Sora is extremely strong, just a low rank. I probably should attempt to remain on her good side until I know more about her. ' Laxus thought a smile spreading across his face. ' Then we have the Aburame, Nagisa I think her name was. She could pose a threat. I'll have to find a way to negate those bugs if I can't obtain the Raikage position without going through her. ' Laxus thought sighing, his smile fading. ' Come to think about it, I'm fairly sure I'll have to go through two of the only ninja I've seen in Kumogakure, and possibly Sora. I'd hate to do that, I would severely weaken the whole of Kumogakure. ' Laxus thought to himself the realization setting in. ' I don't see being able to take the raikage position unless I gain quite a bit of power. I'm going to have to do much more within the village. ' He thought, pausing and taking a breath as he delved deeper into thought completely oblivious to everything around him.

"Not really. For the Mangekyo there's nothing I can do about it. y'know? Sh-stuff happens. But for the eternal it's a life or death situation." Kensei said while letting out a sigh. He noticed Laxus change his expression and sighing a lot. "What's your problem?" Even though he didn't really know Laxus, he could tell something was bothering him. Maybe his dreams were crushed after hearing what the sharingan could do. If that was the problem, it definitely put a grin on Kensei's face.

" Hmm? " Laxus said, looking up. Kensei had spoken directly to him, and it was that uncommon in the short time he'd known him that it took him out of his stupor of thought. " So the Mangekyo is involuntary? How so? " Laxus asked pretty much out of curiosity. " I'm just thinking about my future, and where I want to be and what will stand in my way. " Laxus said smiling wryly. It was true, he was thinking about his future. It just wasn't something that they would appreciate hearing.

Yamatano walked into the waiting room, spotting the three kumogakure shinobi, and the crown jewel of the room, the water cooler. "David will see you now." He said as he raced for the water. As he reached it, he didn't even bother with a cup. Whispering "mizu soujuu" and waving his hand, yamatano used water manipulation to force the water thrrought the spigot, traveling in a line towards his mask, passing through the fabric into his open mouth. By the time he had finished, almost a quarter of the water previously there was gone, and yamatano breathed a sigh of great refreshment.

"David? Oh that kid. Alright thanks m-" Kensei was going to finish but he saw Yamatono was busy with the water. "Okay? I guess asking you to join the meeting is out of the question then huh?" Before he gave the man a chance to answer, Kensei walked out of the room and into the hallway. His appearance still looked sweaty and filthy, but nothing could be done for now. "Yo Sora, Laxus hurry up." He shouted from the hallway.

Sora sensed an opportunity to say her bit and so she opened her eyes in preparation to speak. Before her chance came, though, Yamatano rushed into the room and just about attacked the water cooler. Well, it wasn't like his actions were violent or anything. Just that the amount of water he downed made "attack" seem like the right choice of words.
Picking herself up, the girl stretched. She hadn't gotten used to the heat, most definitely not. However, having sit down and relaxed had restored quite a bit of Sora's original perkiness. "Alrighty then, thank you for the notice," the girl addressed Yamatano with a grateful smile before looking at her two teammates. She focused onto Laxus and answered his question, "As for me, Laxus, I think I've revealed all of my details: sealing master with an affinity for raiton. The family histores of both my parents are comprised mainly of civilians, the few shinobi relatives are fairly distant, so I'm certain I have no bloodline/clan. I can also tell you that, at the academy, I aced all of the written exams and just barely passed the practical exams. Well, most of the practicals. I did above average in most of the stealth-related ones and tended to fail the ones that required speed." Not a word Sora said was false. Despite having the Rokubi's speed boost, Sora's increased clumsiness at high speeds often caused her to lose things such as races and such. Explanation to Laxus finished, Sora went to the door and held it open for Laxus. As usual, she chose to be the last. She doubted it was necessary since the group wasn't going more than a few yards, but she still liked to make sure that everyone was alright.

" Thank you Yamatano-san. " Laxus said as Yamatano ran through the waiting room to suck the water from the cooler. ' Odd... That is very odd. ' Laxus thought to himself, seeing the water seemingly float into his mouth.
" I'm coming. " Laxus said to Kensei. He sighed and rose from his seat sighing as he rubbed the back of his neck.
" Okay then. " Laxus said to Sora as he passed her at the door. He smiled, he accepted what she said for face value, and as fact. ' At least should she ever be against me I'll be capable of stopping her. ' Laxus thought his smile continuing as he walked into the office.

Yamatano was waiting in a chair next to the water cooler when he heard something, something he never thought to hear in this part of the world: rain, and from the sound of it, a lot of rain. Thunder and lightning occurred every so often as well, furthering yamatano's confusion. Lightning? But it was so arid and dry an hour ago! Yamatano thought, amazed at the change. Wanting a closer look, yamatano exited the building, resolving to catch up with the kumo shinobi another time.
