Abilities and list of Justu's:
Karasu's trademark weapon is a double-bladed knife and a metal wire, which he uses as an offensive weapon, a grappling hook, and an electricity conductor. He also holds with him, kunai, shuriken and a 40/60 true hard rock, hand forged, high ritter Carbon Steel Chokuto Blade. The coat he wears is shuriken and kunai proof so any sharp metal objects thrown at him will only bounce off of his coat.
Karasu is extremely skilled in martial arts and is an accomplished acrobat easily able to do backflips and mid-air cartwheels with little effort in terms of physical strain. Karasu's natural abilities are so impressive that even without his jutsu's, Karasu is easily able to take on other Shinobi's.
Kekkei Genkai: Lightning release- Molecular/Electricity Manipulation: Karasu possesses the ability to generate and discharge electricity through conductive media (he cannot discharge it through air or concrete) at sufficiently high amounts to kill grown men or short out a building's electrical systems. The power is more than simple electric shocks, as he can alter matter on the quantum level. He is capable of special particle luminance, meaning he is able to change molecules.
Forbidden Technique: Gedo Seal
Both techniques possess insidious effects on the target. The Gedō Seal: Seal is a juinjutsu that can seal a target's abilities, including the kekkei genkai, causing pain to the target, even when not using their ability. The Gedō Seal: Confusion causes blinding pain in the victim's head, which turns their body into a tool of the technique's caster. When used to fight another, they will feel no pain the victim's opponent has given them, and won't listen to what anyone says. This part of the technique can be cured without the use of a release command, if they defeat their inner self that is in their head.
Fire Release: Heavenly Prison: An imprisonment technique used by Karasu's clan. The ones who are subjected to this technique have a formula applied to them, which will prevent them from moulding chakra and from using techniques. It will also drain them of their chakra at a slow but steady rate.
Forbidden Technique: Chakra Threads
Suicide jutsu where you connect a chakra thread to your opponents soul. What happens to you, happens to him.
Lightning Release: Shadow clone
This technique allows the user to make a shadow clone infused with lightning. Because it is a shadow clone, it is able to perform techniques and interact with the environment due to it having physical substance; and also evenly distributes the user's chakra to each clone. If the clone is injured, it will revert to its natural lightning-state, at the same time electrocuting whatever it is touching.
Silent killing
As the name suggests, this technique is simply a very quiet method of killing an opponent, usually from behind with a blade. Additionally, because the user is very silent, it cannot be defended against. The user will often slit their opponent's throat, preventing any cry that might give them away.
Summoning Technique (Tamaki, Nekobaa, Denka, Hina)
The Summoning Technique is a space–time ninjutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals or people across long distances instantly.
Eye Mind Reading
This technique looks into the target's eyes and weaves a sign with their right eye, gathering information without them noticing.
Hiding in Mist Technique
This displacement technique is a specialty of the ninja from Kirigakure, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist colored by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Mind Body Disturbance Technique
A ninjutsu where one sends their chakra into the subject's nervous system, thus operating the enemies body at will. The enemies this technique is cast upon are completely under the users' control as their bodies become disconnected from their will. The difference between this, and the Mind Body Switch Technique is, the caster doesn't project their consciousness into the enemies body. Situations of numerical superiority for the adversary are precisely where this technique, which freely manipulates human beings will display its efficiency, by getting the enemies to turn on one another. Control can be exerted even from a distance.
Body Flame Technique
A technique similar to the Body Flicker Technique, however, the user disappears from view slowly. It also appears as if their body is being absorbed or burned by a flame.
Attack prevention technique
With this technique, the user can merge into a surface to avoid damage. The user can also move unseen and attack from behind.
Twin snakes Mutual Death Technique
This forbidden technique is a murder-suicide attack, killing both the user and the target. The user makes a one-handed seal with both their hand and the intended victim's. Two snakes are then summoned from the user's sleeve, biting both their wrists and killing them with deadly venom.
Temple of Nirvana Technique
A powerful genjutsu that generates a fluttering rain of sleep-inducing, illusory white feathers. Whomever sees them as they fall, piling up and covering the whole target area will experience Eden-like bliss and fall into a state of tranquil slumber. No matter how much one resists the hypnotic spell, the desire to sleep is instinctive, and there's no fighting it. However, an experienced shinobi will be able to dispel the genjutsu before it takes effect.
Dead Soul Technique
Using this technique, a person can temporarily reanimate a corpse, creating the illusion of a living person, and maneuver it at will with chakra. This is achieved by causing the heart to beat once more. The reanimated corpse can serve as either a short-time ally or an effective decoy. The traces of surgery can also be erased with chakra, because of which there's no difference, at first glance, with a live person.
Hiding with Camouflage Technique
This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. However, the usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills.
Body Shedding
Used primarily after sustaining massive injury or as a means to elude a seemingly inescapable attack, this technique allows the user to materialize a new body — typically by regurgitating it from their mouth — in a manner that somewhat resembles how a snake sheds its skin. After emerging, the user's clothing and injuries are completely restored, with even amputated limbs being regenerated. Whilst the technique has the additional advantage of potentially being extremely difficult to detect, its use consumes a great amount of chakra.
Drowning Water Blob Technique
After liquefying a portion of ones body, they can manipulate the resulting water to surround the target's head, preventing them from breathing in order to either: render the victim unconscious or ultimately kill them, if the suffocation is sustained.
Hydrification technique
By liquifying the whole body at will, this technique makes it impossible to receive damage from physical attacks. From a single hair to the skin and muscles, everything can be liquefied and solidified at will. Be it to evade an enemy's attack during a short range battle, to infiltrate a structure, or to launch a surprise attack in a liquefied state, this technique boasts a high strategic value. Using this, the user can also re-shape their body parts for suitable situations. The only way to contain a user of this technique is to lock them up in an airtight container so they cannot move about. When the user passes out, they turn into a jelly-like state. Since this technique turns the body into water, the user is vulnerable to lightning techniques.
Chakra suppression Technique
This ability allows the user to suppress their chakra to the point that it is completely undetectable. This makes it impossible for sensor-type shinobi to track them via chakra. The downside of this ability is that since the user suppresses their chakra they are unable to use any of their ninja skills.
Mind's eye of the Kagura
This ability allows one to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, though Karasu has it active often. The ability extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including himself, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, Karasu can perceive its location and movement with great detail.
Curse Seal of Heaven
The Cursed Seal of Heaven is one of the strongest of Orochimaru's cursed seals, the other being its counterpart, the Cursed Seal of Earth. The seal consists of three tomoe (the design known as mitsudomoe), similar to the Sharingan, which, when activated, spread flame-like markings across the user's body. Like all cursed seals, the user receives increased chakra levels and physical capabilities when the seal is active, to the point where with the second level, Karasu was equal in power to Yugito Nii's Jinchuriki. The seal was applied at the left side of the back of Karasu's neck.
Lightning Cutter
The Lightning Cutter is an enhanced and concentrated form of the Chidori with the same effects and drawbacks.
Reasons for joining the Akatsuki: Orochimaru killed his family and the rest of the villagers in his own village. He has nowhere to go and is only looking for revenge and knows if he is in the Akatsuki, he will run into him. He also looks forward to experiencing new things and working with the others.
Bio: Comes from a now destroyed village. His clan was well known for their Kekkei Genkai: Lightning Release: The ability to create, control and manipulate electricity. His village, being destroyed by none other than Orochimaru (When Orochimaru was still in the Akatsuki). Though it is known now that Orochimaru did this AGAINST the Akatsuki's wishes, and has made him a completely rogue ninja in the Shinobi World. Karasu, having been kept alive and being put under the Curse Mark, had undergone many changes and ended up devoting his life to revenge. It is unclear how he feels about it all because he never really shows any emotion a lot. Karasu has traveled and has gained knowledge of Orochimaru and his men and thus, has joined the Akatsuki, in hopes that someday, he will finally come face to face with him, and put an end to his existence. Not a lot else is known about this man because he rarely speaks of himself and often avoids normal confrontation if at all possible.
Personality: When he is around others and on his free time, he will be a cheerful, happy person to be around and acts kindly to others, though this only happens when he is spoken to. When he is on the job, he is nothing more than a cold blooded killer who is only out to complete his job. Other than that, you will not see him show any signs of emotion whatsoever.
