xxxxxPositive Traits
Optimistic - He's a rather optimistic fellow. Unless you reference the fact that his brother despises him, he's usually smiling and living life with a huge grin on his face. Yes, he can be put down, but it's hard for he seems to block attempts by easily chirping out his favorite optimistic quotes. He's always eager to cheer others up, as well, either singing for them or some other means. When he is brought down it's only for a brief period of time, usually able to pick himself back up. However, if he's depressed for a long period of time it's possible to bring him back up if his friends come to his side.
Friendly - He is a people-person, though he hasn't always been this way. As a child, he was quieter, shyer, though he still was bathed with adoration from his parents and brothers. When he lost the love of his brother and struggled to re-gain his parents attention he started becoming desperate for attention. Ever since, he has loved people and loved making friends, even if it's hard to make true friends due to his profession. He has tasted being alone, and refuses to ever feel it again. He loves feeling loved, and he loves being near talking beings. He can often be found leaping off stage to shake hands during performances, leaping at strangers and shoving his hand out for greetings, or simply delighting in playfully dancing around with friends. The boy isn't easily scared off, he just loves people in general! While those that ignore him do irritate him and those that are homely also bother him, he tries and claim them as their friends anyway. If he dislikes you, you must be a truly insufferable character! Even if he does dislike you, Vincent often tries to hold a friendly face. However, despite his desire for friends of all sorts, Vincent can easily become overly friendly and seem fake to certain people. Perhaps it is because he is paranoid that others will not befriend him? Or perhaps it is because he simply tries too hard. Either way, he is sincere despite what you may think. His friends are lavished with hand-made clothes and acquired jewels, and strangers are complimented and praised, unless he is in one of his attention seeking moods.
xxxxxNeutral Traits
Busy - He's a busy body. He doesn't like sitting still, nor does he liked being told to relax. He doesn't know how, really. His form of relaxing is by moving. Staying still makes him anxious, even slightly irritable. To relax he often paces while singing, or learning a new skill. This can be great if you need a quick hand, for he'll most likely leap to assist you, but also be horrible if you just want some quiet! It doesn't help the things he does are often noisy! If you force him to hold still, he will become very antsy and end up either cursing at you, throwing a miniature tantrum, or attempt to write a song in his head (and fail). If this does not work, he'll relent and sleep.
xxxxxNegative Traits
Spoiled - Since he was given so much at such a young age, Vincent grew up wanting the best of everything. The best friends, the best things, the best songs, he wanted and feels entitled to have anything he wants. He wants many things, and expects them delivered to him promptly. While he doesn't go around screaming and kicking, he will silently make a point. Such as, if he asks for a certain brand of tea and you give him something else, he will ignore the other tea by shoving it away, and then ditching it completely, later asking where his tea is if enough time has gone by, always with a friendly smile. If he still doesn't get what he wants, he'll repeat the action twice, then finally turn around and attempt to use his pop star status to get what he desires. If THAT doesn't work, well, he'll be a grumpy little s**t for a few hours, then reset and find something else to want.
Attention Seeker - He needs attention. No, he craves it. It's an addiction, and often will consume his thoughts. It comes from being pushed aside for a long period of time as a child, and eventually Vincent decided he had enough of being the quiet boy and burst into the Vincent you're reading about! He is friendly for more friends, more attention. He is spoiled because of the attention given to him. The boy will enter a crowded room and do something, whether it be singing or knocking something over, for all eyes to flick to him. Now, I must note that he doesn't do this for long periods of time. It's only fleeting, when his desire is at it's peak, and then suddenly he'll do something to satisfy his craving, then return right back to what he was doing. He can be dramatic so his friends smile and approve, or he can be loud so the crowds are forced to look at him, or he can suddenly, spontaneously, break out into song. He LOVES the paparazzi, and seems to flourish in doing whatever it takes so he will be in the magazines. If he ever gets a lover, it must be noted that he will lavish you with love and attention, but you must return it. He needs attention, whether it be positive or negative, and he will do anything when that fleeting urge arises. If he doesn't get the attention, he panics and becomes unpredictable until it's given to him. Usually, though, his desire is fulfilled by his performances. It's only when he hasn't performed for awhile that he becomes antsy and ends up flipping shelves.

xxxxxHair: Mostly artist choice, except blonde, maybe even white! Eeep! Long, it has to be long, and he has bangs of any sort.

xxxxxClothing: YOU'RE CHOICE, AGAINNNN. Keep in mind he's a pop star, and loves fancy clothes/detailed clothes. He'll wear anything as long as it's pretty <3 He loves to expose his hips, sides, or legs.
xxxxxAdditional: He's supposed to be gorgeous, as conceited as that sounds. But, he is. He's attractive and flaunts it.

Cause all the walls of dreaming, they were torn right open " XXXXXXVincent was born into a small family that eagerly awaited him. It had been years since his older brothers birth, and his parents had been trying for years. They had finally given up, afraid that they were unable to produce another child, until one day a small egg awaited them. With eager cries and three pairs of hands eagerly touching the egg, Vincent was greeted. He was born into a happy family, and when he hatched he was greeted with smiles and love.
XXXXXXHis brother, Naevius, was his best friend, and they spent almost every waking hour with each other, and sometimes even the sleeping hours, curled up in bed together, the small infant cuddled into his older teenage brother. Naevius protected him from the bullies outside, for Vincent was a thin and cute child that was far too friendly for his own good, and far too innocent. Despite the multiple times Naevius attempted to make him "manly", Vincent never changed. He was the kid that was humble, quiet, and gentle. The kid that you would swore wouldn't grow into anything big. That kid you over-looked, because honestly, his voice was too quiet for anyone to hear. The kid that studied diligently, blushed when asked to do anything in-front of others, and seemed to melt in groups. But, that was okay, for his family loved him, and so did his brother.
XXXXXXThat is, until Naevius noticed something. Vincent was given the most attention by the parents, and while he was simply an infant Naevius did not see reasoning behind this. He became bitter quickly, and suddenly shoved Vincent away. The little boy did not understand his brothers sudden hatred, but struggled to repair their relationship. The damage was done when Vincent ran to Naevius to save him from bullies, and his older brother wrenched his arm away, coldly viewed him, and walked away.
XXXXXXVincent started to lose the attention of his parents, too, for they were going through marriage issues. They split, and Vincent was taken by one parent along with his brother. The parent that took them worked often, and was often not home, leaving Vincent alone with Naevius. Naevius often ditched his brother, he never actually laid bodily harm on him, simply pretended his brother did not exist. Vincent became lonely, and took up a few hobbies, one being singing. It didn't take long for Vincent to fall in love and rely on music to get him through the lonely days, and even when his parent stopped working, gained a new spouse, and everything was almost repaired he stilled relied on it. It became his dream to perform, hungry for attention. Hungry to be noticed. Hungry to be loved by everyone, including his brother. Vincent became attention hungry, and started performing as a child during parties, mostly for fun.
XXXXXXVincent started to change, perhaps too slowly for anyone to really notice until it was too late. The quiet boy went from shyly sitting in the back to shoving himself to the front, loudly leaping on tables and making a fool of himself just for the laughter of others. It became fairly common for Vincent to either come home with bruises and scrapes from some stupid act of attention. He was still bullied. He didn't gain many friends, and he was alone still. This only surged that crazy personality.
XXXXXXHe was discovered by an agency during a talent show, and seized. The boy had a talent, and he was immediately gobbled up. Suddenly, he was given anything he wanted, as long as it was material things, and he had a fan base. He ended up feeling entitled to get whatever he wanted, feeling like he earned these gifts. The boy became an actual performer, so eager and pleased to be a star so young. The bullies vanished, or most of them. Yet, the one thing he wanted did not return to him. The one thing he continues to try and get back, the one thing he struggled for.
XXXXXXHis brother has not returned to him, but dammit, he'll make him.

I very much like Vincent, and the whole idea of him being a very likable person, but only because he needs to be likable in order to satisfy his constant desire for attention.
Now, I notice that you say that at one point, he was bullied, but his whole character seems to be based around him being a self-centered airhead. What I wonder about are his origins; did he rise to fame, from this point from when he was bullied, or was he always famous? The reason I ask is that if there was a time when he wasn't so full of himself and drunk on fame, might there be a time when he was a little more grounded and reasonable? Or maybe the fame went to his head and he forgot this time when he got bullied, catch my drift? It's just that one sentence makes me curious, especially since he has that optimistic flare to him that may be conducive to this idea. What it comes down to is expanding on his origins a little, because I know I'd like to know more about how he came into stardom.

Basically, what happened was that he was actually a reasonable, relaxed person until the bullying happened. He became desperate for the affection he once had, and started to gain his personality during the bullying, struggling to be noticed for his vocal talens and slowly becoming more and more self-centered. Eventually, when a company discovered his talent and he was given ANYTHING he wanted, or practically anything material wise, he completely morphed into the personality you read about!
UMMMMM.
How should I incorporate this into his profile? I was planning on doing a few SOLO's to mark the change between personalities, like with Zale. Should I edit his bio section in this thread to be more in detail about the switch, and what he used to be?

Well, basically what I'm going to tell you is this: Tell your profile, not me! If this is your plan for Vincent's story, then you should probably includes hints of it in his traits. I'm not saying give a dissertation on it, but you might want to expand a little on the bullying section just to include that he hasn't always been famous. Because it IS a little important, especially to Vincent's character and the way you plan to grow that character.
Also, I really like the way he handles fame, because it's a very believable way to cope with the stress of a somewhat traumatic childhood. You may want to talk a little about this too, since you ARE writing from the perspective of adult, as you already know.
Now, if you ask me, what I think you should do is split it down the middle to incorporate this. You're writing the profile from the perspective of adult, so all of this change has already happened by the time you hit this point. So add a little here to show that he's not the same as he was, and you'll have plenty of time to build his story as he's growing, you dig?

Okay, I edited his friendly trait, or the beginning, to reference the contrast between who he was, and mostly point out why he's so damn friendly. Attention Seeking trait was given the same touch-up!
I also edited his story a little.
What do you think? Should I be pointed in a different direction? Sorry if I further messed things up, I have a clear image of him in my head, so it's hard for me to put myself in another person's shoes who do not really know him.
