 Magnus straightened up as the green demons died, turning as he heard the black one throw flaming skulls at him. He changed his stance, falling back on his training as the fire streaked towards him. He swung three times, shattering the first three skulls in explosions of ice. He was off-balance when the fourth skull came and it hit him square in the left shoulder, sending him stumbling backwards and almost caused him to fall over. He regained his stance just in time to destroy the fourth skull, shattering it into icy pieces as well. He patted out the small fire that was still burning on his shoulder where the skull had hit, wincing in pain as he did so. Once the fire had died out he charged the black demon, sending waves of ice towards it as he swung Rosie back and forth during his charge.

Although not entirely noticeable from Magnus's charge, the Demon was slyly moving towards him. As soon as Magnus would be upon the Demon would he hear its horrible chuckle, but there wouldn't be much time to move. The Demon threw down a fiery skull, it bursting into a cloud of dense smoke after being flung into the earth. The smoke would span a good radius, it would stink of rotting flesh and burn one's eyes and lungs. Once the demon had moved around to Magnus's back would it finally pounce, brandishing a small knife, but still very lethal...
Amai backed away from the sudden explosion of smoke, watching the blurred forms of Souls inside the cloud. She saw the Demon circle round...! Magnus's eyes began to burn and sting and he began coughing as he inhaled the stinking smoke. He put his free arm over his eyes, attempting to shield them from the smoke when he heard Amai call out to him in warning. He spun around and began swinging Rosie around wildly, keeping one arm over his eyes. He shot waves of ice in different directions while swinging blindly through the smoke.

It lashed out again, the back of his right side exposed brilliantly in his flailing.
Amai let out an agitated sigh, Magnus was shooting completely blind. If only he could see it... Wait, what was it doing now? It suddenly hit her, "Magnus! Strike at 5 o' clock! Now!" If he couldn't see it, then she would be his eyes until the smoke dispersed. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-"But if you quell your own anger, your real enemy will be slain." -NagarjunaThis Is The Life

Magnus kept missing, his eyes still blinded by the smoke. Suddenly, he heard Amai call out to attack to his 5 o'clock. He quickly spun in that direction, swinging the sword up in a diagonal slice to avoid the possibility of the demon ducking or jumping over it.

Ryuuji woke up a while later and he sat up. He noticed susuka's water swords and looked at her. What's wrong? he asked her.

 Rose was starting to feel weak and the icy glow around her started to dissappear it kept getting feinter but she still wanted to help so she tried her best to keep going.

As Magnus swung he felt Rosie strike home and the spray of demon blood on his face. He coughed as he looked through the smoke in time to see the demon falling in half right where Amai had told him it was. He grinned as the smoke cleared, leaving Rosie, Amai and himself as the victors. Earlier he had heard an explosion as the final portal was closed by other DWMA students. He looked down at Rosie as he pulled a handkerchief out from his pocket and wiped his face. "Excellent job Rosie," he said with a grin. He was still pumping with adrenaline after the fight and was overjoyed that they had been successful in their first mission. "And you as well Amia," he said as he turned to her. "We make a great team." He looked as two of the demon souls lingered. "I believe one of these is for you Rosie," he said. "And if I remember correctly 1 demon soul is worth 10 kishin egg souls." He looked down at her again. "Shall we?" He asked.

Magnus smiled as he watched Rosie get excited, feeling good that he could help make her feel so happy. "We did!" He said, nodding. He waited for her to finish celebrating before he spoke up again. "Let's get out of here and back to Death City, I think we've earned a break." He motioned for her to follow as he began heading back down the hill. [[exit to Streets of Death City]]
