If there was one thing he had taken away from his travels through the roguelands, it was to never take advantage of what you have. Setu embraced this way of thinking and worked hard for the benefit of the entire pride, even though he still tended to stay on the edges of it unless he wanted to check on the family members he had found living there. Since he didn't have any other plans, Setu found himself creeping through the long grasses for anything he could bring back in the evening. But, the warm sun on his back was slowly sending him into a dozy state, so he was making very little progress. It didn't hurt to take a break every once in a while, right? And it was safe here. He doubted if anything or anyone who meant him harm would be able to sneak up on him, but he still took a look around just to see if anyone was watching. When he was petty certain that he was alone, Setu dropped to the ground and rolled in the delightful grass for a moment, before coming to a rest on his back. It was cozy there, so he closed his eyes. "Ahh, this is a good day..."

Dhiren had just got away from his new friend, Aradia. She had been showing him around the place so he could get use to being here. He didn't know why he joined the pride, other then he wanted to be close to her. To learn everything she could possibly teach him. At the moment, however, it was up to him to find things on his own. Which was half the fun of being in these lands. He wanted to learn everything, though he knew that wouldn't be possible.
He made his way around, getting a glance at everything. Today seemed rather quiet, he hadn't seen anyone since departing from Aradia. Seeing as this was a rather big pride, it surprised him greatly. Perhaps it was just that time of day when everyone was busy with other things. He couldn't wait to start doing pride things, he was excited about that. He wondered if anyone else was that excited? Perhaps it was only because he was new?
After wondering around for a few more moments, he noticed a rather dark blueish lion relaxing in the day. Dhiren was all for meeting other lions of the pride. He really did need more friends than just Aradia. Especially if his sister came to find him. He'd have to show her how great this place was, and how nice everyone was. "Excuse me, sir!" He said as he got closer to him. A huge grin upon his face saying that he was harmless and just wanted to get to know him. Of course, Dhiren didn't think that perhaps the other wanted to be alone. It really didn't cross his mind at all.

Setu gave a start at the sudden greeting. His eyes snapped open and he rolled into a crouching position, feeling his cheeks warm with embarrassment. Did this other guy see him rolling around like a silly cub? He wasn't really the type who liked to show his playful moments to complete strangers!
Ahh, but that was silly, wasn't it? Secrecy was more in the style of his old pride, and though he would never forget caution after being born and raised there, he could let up his defences around his new pride members, couldn't he? Assuming the stranger was also a pride member. He couldn't recall his face. Though the grin on his face told Setu right away that he didn't mean any harm.
"H-hello," he replied straightening himself further until he was sitting comfortably. "Um, can I help you... sir?" He parroted the last word back, wondering if it was the proper thing to do in this particular situation.
Then, gazing at the other lion with a bright and mildly curious expression, he continued with a touch more confidence. "I don't think we have met... I'm Tlotlego'Setu... Setu."

Dhiren hadn't noticed him being cubish, if that was strange, then Dhiren himself was just as bad. As he did that all the time. Dhiren had no problem with being himself to anyone, though that might make him seem a bit weird to others, which wouldn't be the first time that he off put someone about how he was. Though, he was quite pleased that the other seemed willing to talk to him, that was always good sign. He'd hate to have made someone angry, after all.
"Oh, no, I'm new here. I'm Dhiren." he told him with a smile. "I was just out and about checking things out on my own." He said with a nod. He didn't know if this fellow had a friend as well, someone like Aradia who showed him around the place. "Can't always have other's show me around, after all." he said with a chuckle "gotta venture out on my own." He nodded again. He rambled a bit. "I saw you, and figured it couldn't hurt to make friends with other's in this pride!" he said with a grin, hoping perhaps that the other was thinking the same thing.

When Dhiren said he was new, Setu's curiousity grew. He had thought he was the only new guy around... though it was a silly assumption knowing how large this particular pride was and how many creatures passed by every day. It brought him a bit of comfort knowing that there were others like him, who were just in the process of learning and adjusting to the pride. Setu couldn't help but smile softly at the friendly stranger. "I'm new too actually... I was brought here by my brother... Some of my other family is here, too," he said with a chuckle. Then he stopped himself from saying anything further about it. His reasons for being there didn't concern Dhiren. It wasn't like him to blurt out details about his own life, no matter how minor they were. He decided to focus on Dhiren's other train of thought. "Yeah, sometimes you need to go out and do things for yourself," he said, nodding slightly. "And getting to know those around you isn't a bad idea, either." Setu paused for a moment, then got to his feet. "Perhaps we could look around together?" he suggested, thinking it might be nice to go for a walk.

That made him think of his sister, he wondered how she was doing. "I found this place by accident, I have no family here." He wondered how big of a family this guy had if he had family already here. Though, he wasn't very good with linage of anything. Perhaps one day he'd have a big family that he could share with the world, but for now it was just him and his sister. "You must have a huge family" He said curiously as he came a little closer to the other. He'd never seen a rather blue looking lion, not that he had seen many lions, he supposed he'd see all types of strange colored ones here.
"Well, I can't help but to be a little curious about those who dwell here." He chuckled. "I have a tendency to want to know more than I can get." Which was more than true. Dhiren had always studied how things lived when he was with his sister. Everything was fascinating. He had names for things that he didn't know, and if someone told him a different name, he'd correct them.
"Looking around together would be great" He added with excitement. "Sadly I am not sure where to start!"

Setu also desired a family, though not the extended family he had now. He was hoping to find a pretty female to settle down and raise cubs with, especially when he felt so safe and secure in the Pridelands great numbers. Setu smiled, feeling a bit uncomfortable about revealing anything, but he told himself that Dhiren was just being friendly and nothing more. He didn't live with the ghosts anymore... He shouldn't have anything to hide. "Yes, not all of them live here, but my father, mother, brother, and his family came here after... our birth pride disbanded." He said eventually, hesitating a little. "I see why you'd be curious, I am pretty curious at times myself," he added with a light chuckle. Setu then took a moment to look around. He moved and thought a little slow for some lions, but he was the type who needed a little extra time to put his thoughts together. "Perhaps we can make our way towards the Tamu'maji? I haven't been that far yet," he suggested, thinking of the river to the east that he had heard of from others.

"I'm good with going anywhere" He said cheerful. Every part of this pride was amazing to him, and he loved to figure out every detail he could about a given place. His goal was to become friends with many, and to learn everything about the pride. The good and the bad. Though, he was just strange when it came to that stuff. He liked history, and history came with good and the bad. He looked to the other. "Lead the way." He told him with a nod.
Dhiren wasn't much of a leader, he liked to follow and stay laid back, and let his eyes wonder the lands. Maybe he'd find something interesting that they'd have to stop so he could inspect, OH the types of bugs he could find here! Even the types of rocks that he could peek at! All of it was new and interesting. If only he had someone that was like him, he could spend talking to them all day about this stuff. Of course, that might seem a little weird to others.
He didn't care though, it was his passion. Along with starting a family. He wanted to be there for others, and be able to know about land that he had been to. What better way? He smiled gently at the other, but he was beginning to get excited. His tail flicking, and his legs were shaking. Excitement rushing through him as he thought more about the possible things they would find.

Setu had to chuckle a little. Dhiren's enthusiasm was catching, and now Setu was looking forward to looking around. He nodded when Dhiren suggested he take the lead, and started east, where he thought the river would be. If they even made it that far, of course. Setu wasn't confident he could get them there... not that it seemed to matter to Dhiren, who just seemed to want to do anything and everything. At least that meant that Setu didn't feel pressured to get them there. He started off walking in silence, taking quiet, practiced steps, but soon the blue lion loosened up and his footfalls came more naturally. He also let his eyes wander about, drinking in his surroundings. Everything seemed so fresh and green here, unlike the terrible, dry terrain he had encountered on the way to the Pridelands. If it hadn't been for the kindness of a stranger, he may have never escaped that place. "Not bad," he muttered, though he wasn't sure whether it was to Dhiren, or himself.

Without hesitation, Dhiren was right next to the male. He wasn't going to miss out on whatever it was they were going to find. He was excited about finding something new, and maybe even making a new friend. Everything was going to work out just perfectly. He felt like bouncing, but he didn't want to scare off Setu. He always had too much energy. He tried to contain it, but sometimes... It was too hard.
"SO what do you do normally?!" He asked trying to get the silence to disappear. It wasn't as fun to be silent. It was amazing to talk and have fun. If they didn't reach their destination, they'd at least have something to share with others about the adventure. No adventure, to Dhiren, was failure.
"I love collecting things!"

Setu looked over at the striped male with a curious expression. "Do? I don't really... do... anything." He answered, not completely sure what he was supposed to say. Setu wasn't really the type to pick up hobbies just for fun. He was too focused on what he had to do, not what he wanted to do in his free time. And he was often content to just lounge about when he wasn't set on some task or another. "Collecting things? Like what? What for?" Setu asked, puzzled. He shut his mouth before he could let any more questions slip out. But he looked at Dhiren expectantly, hoping he would explain further.

He looked at him with a shocked expression. How could one not do something? "How is that possible?" He said without realizing it might have been a little rude. He was just really shocked. He did tons of stuff. He collected odd things, investigated bugs, learned all he could about the world around him. Hearing something like what the male had just said was just.... a shock.
He shrugged with a smile. "I collect everything. Rocks, bugs, vegetation, feathers." He had a huge list, but he stopped there, he didn't want to completely bore the other. "I like to learn about things, and the best way to do that is to investigate them, and study them." Bugs were the harder ones to collect, they always seemed to disappear after a while. Sly little things. No matter, he always learned a lot about them. "The world is full of mysterious things, my friend, and I want to know what those things do/are."

Setu ducked his head, feeling ashamed... but why? Because he didn't have hobbies? He'd never really thought about picking up an activity just for amusement. His life had mostly been about keeping secret, keep safe. And then later, keeping alive. "Um, I guess I... wander around? Go for walks? Are those hobbies?" He asked half-helplessly. "Your hobby sounds... fulfilling," he said, sincerely. He believed that it was good to keep one's mind full and sharp, and it sounded like Dhiren did just that with his collecting. He could also agree with the word being filled with mysterious things. And creatures, too. "I can see the river," he said suddenly, the shine of then sun on the water catching his eye. "Hey... maybe we can collect things near the shore? The river probably carries all kinds of things here." While he may not have had a hobby, Setu was willing to help Dhiren with his. Maybe he'd learn something, too.

Dhiren nodded. Of course they were hobbies. "Those are! And great ones too!" He said with a smile. He, himself, enjoyed lots of walks... Well, they started as walks, but then he'd get distracted and then he found himself doing other things, like looking a bugs or strange plants. "Well, any hobby can be fulfilling! Just depends on who it is doing them!" He said with a chuckle.
"I bet walking and wondering around are quite fulfilling for you."
Oh! The shore was the best place to find things! "Good thinking! I am sure we'll find tons of things there!" This was exciting! Nothing better than finding things with someone else, at least in Dhiren's opinion. Sometimes it was boring going alone, and not being able to show how much fun it was to do such things. But with someone else, they could share the fun! He smiled at the other. "lead the way!"

Setu blinked at Dhiren and suddenly felt better about himself. If Dhiren said they were hobbies, and good ones at that, he would believe him. His new friend was so confident and sincere, he couldn't help but believe him. "I guess it would be pretty boring if I didn't go out and look around..." he said, then he chuckled. "I don't want to become some old den dweller, telling cubs to get off her rocks." Feeling playful, Setu bounded forward on his hind legs, batting in Dhiren's direction with a forepaw. "All right! But you better be prepared to teach me." With that, he laughed and charged towards the shore.
