I'm going to be making this a daily thing. I feel the entire guild could use a bit of caffeine to perk us up.
So here's a question that I feel nearly everyone can weigh in on.

I would like to start by saying that if you cannot find anything to say to this prompt, I have nothing to say to you. Now... let's see. I have to say TARDIS, even though I would love to ride a rainbow robot unicorn, because I have often, far too often, really, thought about becoming a companion. Of the standard ones, I'd pick pick a train because I don't like being on a ship unless I don't have to look over the sides. As you can imagine, you cannot get me into a canoe.

Hmmmmm.... I severely dislike planes heh. sweatdrop
I will never go on a plane. I also am not a big fan of small boats either, or particularly huge ones. The last boat I was on was for my brothers wedding and it was pretty amazing especially going onto the top but it was just a neat experience.
Truth be told if I am traveling somewhere I would rather just drive and see the sights, not to mention I am probably not the one driving because I am not too confident in my ability to do that either although I will do so if need be. Sometimes you just need to do things even if you don't want to for the experience and also majority of the time it's really not as bad as I make it out to be in my mind... Pennsylvania has the worst r0ads. So it sucks here.
I love good old fashioned trains though. Sadly I have only been on one once. I am not talking about them subway trains either. I mean one that goes through country.

Yes, subways are completely different than trains. Perhaps I should have had a separate option for that. I have been on American subways, but I've never been on an American train.

Once a history book prompted me to imagine I was on a magic flying carpet. Same book also related the roman empire to a giant chocolate bar. Looking back I have no idea how that book got approved as textbook material, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Point is, I'm down with any form of travel!

I think I remember you mentioning that book before. Someone mentioned something about a history book with some odd visuals. I think the thought process was they wanted to jar the person reading the history book awake so they'd actually learn the material; although as a historian I find not bowdlerizing it in the first place more effective.

Automobile, some of my greatest memories have occurred while going on a road trip. I've never been on a large boat and I usually read a book or nap on a plane. The rest seem to be something you would ride alone, which can be boring, except for the TARDIS. That one I can't really give an opinion on since I don't watch Dr. Who.
