Her ears flickered back and forth, soft footfalls dying as the small female wolf paused in her walking. Raising her nose to the air, she sniffed at the light breeze. She was a little off course, but still heading in about the right direction. Maybe another hour or so of walking and she'd find the water's edge. It had been a little while since she'd visited the river. But Rain Song wanted to travel back towards it again. Though she was extremely jumpy and hesitant while trekking along by herself.

Alone. She hated being alone. It always made her more nervous. Easier to take advantage of.

Rain Song hunched her shoulders and started walking again, keeping to the trees and growth that could hide her form. A twig snapped under her paw and the light tan wolf jumped, a surprised whine slipping out before she clamped her jaws shut. She huffed, grumbling under her breath at herself, starting to walk again. Right smack into another object. Whether it was tree or wolf, she didn't notice right away, too busy jumping back with her tail pinned beneath her and a whine issuing as she crouched down, heart hammering away.
