Shanna66 Zatalin Shanna66 Zatalin Shanna66 well i hate havign to explain it to everyone all the time and personally i dont see the point in the term exsisting. to me bisexual doesnt mean you only like cis people, it means that no matter if the person had a d**k or a v****a or even both you can still be attracted to them even if they are genderqueer I disagree. I think bisexual means only attracted to men and women while pansexual people are attracted to people because of their personality, regardless of the person's sex or gender. I'm bisexual by my definition but I am not attracted to a transgender people or genderqueer people. you are the first bisexual ive ever talked to who felt that way I'm using the definitions I got from my Anthropology of Gender professor. Through out the world there are many different definitions for different genders. For example, is Sulawesi there are five different genders. There is the regular male and female along with asexual(bisu) people. Then there are the calalai(born female, act male) and calabai (born male, act female) and I would not be attracted to either the bisu, calalai, or calabai. ive never taken a class on gender or sexuality in it but bisexual means 2 sexes or something close to that. if it meant being ttracted to 2 genders then i might be more inclined to call myself pan. though since im not single or trying to find a new person to date i dont think it matters what term i use really, so im just using the term that i feel more comfortable using Sorry if I went all academic on you. I wrote a 10 page paper on the subject and I'm just so excited to write about it. rofl

Sex is not black and white. The Prader Scale (not on wikipedia but you can google it and some images showing the basics of it) helps differentiate between female, male and interesexed. 1 and 2 are traditional men, two be a little off but close enough for it to not matter. 6 and 7 are traditional female. 3-5 are intersexed.A LOT of people don't know that sex is so fluid, most just don't think about it. And now for a few different cultures who have a third gender. Instead of me writing out all of them, I'll just put the wikipedia article as I'm lazy. Section 1.1 has a list of the different people http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_transgender-related_topics A lot of what we talked about in my class were gender roles. I left my notes at college so I don't have as many details at home (my storage locker for college is 5 hours away). Sorry to be a semi-let down, but I'm laaaazy. The people we studied included the Sworn Virgins of Albania, Hijra of India, Two-Spirit of North America(not as much), Fafafina of Samoa, Kathoey of Thailand, and the 5 genders of Sulawesi. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I don't know everything on the subject but I may be able to help clear something up.

Red Triple X On the D.L. (download, in other words, you are somewhat hiding that you are really prefer one or the other or both sexes/genders) The phrase is "on the down low", actually... not "download." That doesn't really make any sense. xp

I'm straight with a tranny curiosity. I say tranny as opposed to guy, cause I love the feminine features still but wonder how it would be for a girl.. to really *ahem* give it to me*

I'm what you might call heteroflexible. I'm straight, but I am also attracted to and turned on by women, but not so much that I've actually pursued it or would consider it any sort of a preference. I would consider a threesome with a woman, for example, but I'm not sure I would enjoy it one-on-one.

I guess I would consider myself asexual, strongly leaning heterosexual. I have a very very low libido. I'm perfectly happy in a life without sex. However, when it comes to choosing a partnership, it would be a heterosexual relationship.

Asylum Renegade I'm straight with a tranny curiosity. I say tranny as opposed to guy, cause I love the feminine features still but wonder how it would be for a girl.. to really *ahem* give it to me* Just so you're aware for future reference, "tranny" is a derogatory term for transsexuals. I've heard many trans people say they are offended by it. Its a term that's pretty popular, and I don't fault you for using it, but if you were to approach a transsexual person in the future, I'd hate to see you accidentally hurt them with the term, you know?
