I guess many people are busy, and yeah...I'm hardly a model member, sweatdrop but maybe lets encourage some activity?
Hows our walking wounded healing up? xd
Ok, now that I'm out of school and I've settled into my time zone, I can start helping again. I have enough time, now, to make banners and siggy banners for all who want one. I too have Photoshop, so I can help with the art. If anyone would like to help out, we can split up the tasks needed, such as Front Page and Banners.
Also, I don't know whether I support the word count stat base, but I do think we need power stats. Meaning that we have numbers that demonstrate just how powerful a person is in a single category. i.e Strength, Speed, Endurance, ect. However, these stats will not change over time unless promoted to a higher rank or something extreme happens (such as becoming a Vizard). It isn't making the guild stat based, but it is putting a cap on who tops who in what category. It also makes sure that we don't have understudies (like a Lt.) beating Captain Ranked characters. It has happened before and it is a problem. People don't know their limits against certain RPCs.
Threatening isn't working. I, personally, hate empty threats. I believe in having one warning and then the results. Postponing things doesn't help. Just because you are Captain, doesn't mean you should have Crew status. Having RP skills is one thing, but being responsible enough to fulfill Crew needs is another. Before I was appointed to member, I had only RPed in this guild. I thought when you get promoted to a Captain rank, that means you are automatically qualified to be a Crew member. However, for the past 3 or 4 years, I've noticed that some people are not cut out for such responsibilities. Not saying anyone in our crew is like that, but I have noticed it and believe it should be addressed.
We keep discussing the plot, but we don't have the plot in details. We need details so EVERYONE knows what is going on. We cannot just give out a vague outline of the plot to most and only have a few know what the hell is going on. Everyone needs to be aware of what is happening, what is going to happen, and what should be done when it is happening.
We need to plan it out better and broadcast it better as well. Mini announcements would be good to use while the arc goes on so that all members know what to do and when to do it. Also, rules and restrictions are good too. I'll expand on this later, but for now I need to go. I will be helping more and more now that I am settle. I apologize for my sudden absence and will make up for it in time
