Biography: Whenever there is a war, there are casualties. That's a fact that everyone acknowledges. What few acknowledge, however, is the existence of refugees. The people a war or conflict remove from their place of residence or birth; their life is pulled out from under their feet like a cheap rug. That is the plight of Dalka Redding. A Slavic girl that was born in Eastern Europe, raised by an English family, and fought for the ideals of a nation that was struck down as soon as it declared its existence. So Sprost decided to become a refugee before she became a “traitor”; one is still alive, after all. Not having a lot of money, she immigrated to the blossoming nation of Arcadia as a young adult, only to quickly find that there was little need for the skills of a revolutionary in a stable country. Factories quickly filled with other immigrant workers, and soon there weren't any jobs to be found. Let alone for a woman. Sprost slowly slipped into depression and was dissuaded from the search for a proper job. Eventually she fell in with a local escort service; if nothing else, she had her looks to help her get by, but at the exchange of her pride and innocence.
