...NO BRAND CON.
That is, if you live in the upper midwest area. The 3rd weekend of April will be the 5th annual No Brand Con, held in Eau Claire, WI (about an hour E of the Twin Cities).
Us Taeliac Studio Cosplay folks will be vending again this year, not to mention some appearances by some awesome guests like Tiffany Grant and Matt Greenfield, and the usual Anime Convention fun-ness.
It's a smaller 'con, and not many people have heard of it, so please excuse me for sharing. If you do go, look for the guy who looks like my Avatar. That's me.

For as awesome of a 'con as it is, I don't think I would be willing to travel that far for ANY convention. Then again, that's just my lazy self.

awww, I wish I could go! But this event is too far away...maybe when I'm older and can afford a plane ticket for myself, I'll be able to make it. biggrin

So No Brand Con was awesome this year! I'd have to say the most memorable (and crazy) thing was that my Cosplay Panel in main programming fell directly between Kyle ********* Dubbing Panel and Matt Greenfield/Tiffany Grant's Panel. That was really weird. The 3 barely said hello to me, but they're all big famous people and my girlfriend and I are just Cosplay Makers.
